i am sure the question has been asked before but my search-fu is failing me.

i will be playing a character having the seer theme. another PC in the party is an avenger. my question: if i target the avenger with cast fortune and the avenger is attacing the target of his oath of enmity, what happens? does the avenger use 2 of the d20 rolls for the attacks rather than using the results of a roll the avenger's player rolled?

does the avenger use 2 of the d20 rolls for the attacks rather than using the results of a roll the avenger's player rolled?

Yes.  I'm not sure how the language in the relevant powers could be interpreted any differently.

  • Oath of Enmity: "... you make two attack rolls and use either result."

  • Cast Fortune: "These results replace, in order, the next three d20 rolls the target makes for any of the following types of rolls: attack rolls...".

yes, 2 results would be used for 2 attack rolls.
