Hybrid Paladin seems to have wimpy punishment

So, I wanted to make a hybrid. After looking around at stuff, I really liked the idea of putting touch of command on a defender. So, I went and made a hybrid warlock|paladin. They're built purely as a defender, which is why you see nothing put into damage boosting. I hardly even care if I end up cursing an enemy until mid paragon. However, while I like the theoretical catch 22 options I have with this character, it seems like beyond price of cowardice I don't actually have much going for a strong punishment.

Any advice for the build?

 EDIT: AC might be lower than it should be on the epic build because I think I forgot to put in masterwork armor.

Heya everyone, here are my homebrew threads: (yes there is only one right now, but there are more to come!) And Let There Be Fish-Men: KUO-TOA
Well, I don't see any benefit to ignoring advice, so I could try getting on the damage train to try and see how that works out.
Of course, how will I fit those things in? Eyebite seems neat on a defender, marking AND cursing being a minor action seems clunky, and I like the saving throw package I have with Hero's Poise, Starfire Womb, Superior Will, and Virtuous Strike entering paragon.

EDIT: does psychic lock work with mindbite scorn? How about the headband of intellect?

Psychic Lock?  Yes.  Headband?  Again Yes.

Basically I'd pick Eldritch Strike so you can deal curse damage as an OA, or any other MBA.  This makes it so that enemies can't just ignore you to go fight your buddies because you'll be hitting like a striker to stop them.  Aside from that, if race is changable, Tiefling has AMAZING support for exactly this sort of thing.  If not, Human isn't horrible.  It allows you to pick up that Eyebite you're eyeballing, or Heroic Effort to turn a miss into a hit.

Also - Protective Hex is pretty stellar along with Psychic Lock.  So even if they do attack an ally, they're less likely to hit.

Edit:  Also, consider MC Swordmage for the ability to use a sword as an implement, and then pick up War Wizard's Expertise instead of Versatile.  Unless you're really wanting to attack through a Rod for some reason.
War wizards expertise can be a problem if they want to use paladin Implement attacks so remember if you take it you need to only take Arcane Implement attacks.
Alright, I've made some changes

Level 11:

Eyebite --> Dire Radiance
Sacrifice to Caiphon --> Crimson Fire
Superior Will --> Implement Focus (Longsword)

Level 30:

Protective Hex --> Twofold Pact
Twofold Curse --> Mindbite Scorn
Focused Mind --> Protective Hex
Divine Mastery --> Cursed Spells
Added Headband of Intellect

@Project Vile: It's good to hear that the psychic damage shenanigans work. Eldritch Strike isn't a big issue to me because I have Valorous Strike for a melee basic attack. While it doesn't get curse damage, I feel having an at will ranged attack is worth it. Protective Hex does look fun in conjunction with psychic lock, but as is I only see room for one or the other unfortunately. Stacking both would be pretty rad. I don't think I'm going to multiclass because War Wizard's expertise, I believe, only works on arcane implement powers and basic attacks. And even if not, none of my attacks benefit from the -5 to allies.

You are correct on War wizard's expertise.  That's what I get for posting tired.  Sorry about that.
I just posted a slightly different take on the hybrid paladin | warlock defender + Touch of Command concept.  Its punishment is really severe right out of the box, maybe too severe given his defenses (meaning that enemies will want to just gang up on him until he's dead).

The main difference between our builds, and it's a big one, is that mine is a hybrid cavalier instead of straight paladin; this, coupled with RAW-legal but RAI-dubious shenanigans, allows him to poach the berserker's Vengeful Guardian attack as his aura punishment.  The rest of the build just enhances this concept.  Anyway, you might find it useful too.
