Is anyone else having this problem come up with their DDI membership?

Greetings All,

I was wondering how many of you out there who have paid for an entire year of DDI (70.40 USD) only to get an e-mail three months later asking you to re-new your membership? I have submitted several tickets to Customer Service about this and thus far have heard zilch back from them! I feel I'm being ignored by the "Powers That Be."

I use the Character Builder and the other utilities quite a bit to prep my games.

Is there anyone else I can contact about this?

PS: If this is how a paying customer is going to be treated, then I most likely won't be spending any money on D&D (any edition) anymore!

Its not WoTC who handles DDi purchase, but an external company called Digital River. Still, that's unacceptable and should be addressed. When was your last ticket with Customer Service?

I don't know if you hide your badges, you are don't appear as a DDi subscriber anymore.

I sent the last ticket in two days ago and the first about two or so days before that. I have the ticket numbers if you need them.

I don't understand the whole badges thing. I run DDN playtests, but didn't know you got anything for it. I do it because I like the game. I just had/have the one DDI account and I use the Character Builder and Tools quite a lot in my D&D gaming.

This is actually the second time this has happened. I didn't keep track of the Order Number/Receipt last time and so had no proof I renewed the DDI subscription. This time, I kept the receipt and sure enough it happened again. I was ready this time.

I don't know what to do. I paid my money, now it seems whomever keeps track of memberships/subscriptions isn't doing their job and now I'm going to lose access to the monsters and characters I created for an upcoming game because of it! I'm actually quite disappointed this is going on and I'm starting to lose faith in the service/product.
The badges i was referring to is this DDi one 

Check out your Order Status you should have a record of it. If not you may want to fill out a billing issues form to contact their billing specialists as detailed in the Order Problem FAQ

D&D Insider Order Status
You can check the status of your D&D Insider subscription order by first clicking here. You will be redirected to our e-commerce account help page. Once there, click on the "My Order History" button. You will be asked to login at this point. Provide the email address and password that you used to login to D&D Insider.

After you log in you will be redirected back to the main e-commerce help page. At this point you can click on the my order history button and it will provide all the information on orders you have made, including the order status.


D&D Insider Order Problem
There are several things that can cause a D&D Insider subscription order to fail. The most common cause of order issues is that the billing or credit card information provided does not match the information your bank or credit company has on file.

When experiencing an ordering issue, the first thing you should do is verify that the billing information you provided matches the information linked to your credit card, and that the credit card number and experiation date are correct.  Also, please make sure that you are entering the credit card number without spaces, as spaces will cause you to receive an error message.

If that does not solve the problem, then you will need to fill out our billing issues form to contact our billing specialists. First, make sure you are logged in to the help system, then click here to be redirected to the form. When filling out the form, please make sure to include the order number and any error message you may have received, as well as a brief description of the problem.
