Moving while Mounted on your Beast Companion

The Medium sized Ranger has the Beast Rider Feat and has Mounted his/her Beast Companion. If the Ranger uses Circling Strike the Beast Companion Shifts 1 and the Ranger moves with right? Now the Ranger uses Hit and Run, but while the Ranger doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks from the target the Beast Companion will right? Thank you kindly.
Incorrect. Just becaues you can move doesn't your beast can. Hit and Run allows you to move. Not your beast. So you don't move at all if you're mounted.
Alcestis is correct, however it's a popular house rule to allow it.  Ask your DM.
"Non nobis Domine Sed nomini tuo da gloriam" "I wish for death not because I want to die, but because I seek the war eternal"

Circling Strike's shift still works though right?
Yes, if you allow your beast to move, your beast can move.
