I'm on a mission from a god.

After watching Blues Bros. a few too many times I'm oddly imagining a Bard/Paladin hybrid. Yes, probably a bad idea, and I'm not expecting greatness here, but I might as well make it work as best as I can. So far it's a Baladin focused on buffing/debuffing where possible and occasionally helping enemies escape. This is what I have so far for the level 11 game, and hopefully it's not too bad a base and only requires a few tweaks. Still undecided on PP and exact weapon choice. Hybrid Talent is for Paladin proficiencies.

You get next to nothing from strength, given that you have virtuous strike.

Sadly ... Diplomancing princess Leia is not quite do-able.

Here comes your 19th forums breakdown ... ohh who's to blame, it ain't 5E driving you insane.

Lol, as if ou need to break the economy in a world where even 5th level adventurers are toting around more than the value of most small cities in gear.
Harrying your Prey, the Easy Way: A Hunter's Handbook - the first of what will hopefully be many CharOp efforts on my part. The Blinker - teleport everywhere. An Eladrin Knight/Eldritch Knight. CB != rules source.
I've seen a quite interesting hybrid bard/Avenger that uses power of skill to make Overwhelming Strike a MBA and then adds on the minor and no-action skald boosts to the standard charge package. That would be another route you could take this

Forget Baladin, just go full Chaladin and take Bard powers freely.  This gives you pretty free reign on your secondary.

This is CharOp. We not only assume block-of-tofu monsters, but also block-of-tofu DMs.

You're already refluffing, why not refluff to something that doesn't suck?
I have to agree... put the STR points into other stuff. CON, WIS, DEX/INT are pretty much all going to give you higher returns. IIRC the Blues Brothers weren't particularly strong anyway.
Did a little more work on him. He's not going to be dishing out too much damage, but he'll make quite annoying to hurt his friends. 3 feats still available, and a little sad I can't benefit from Hospitaler's enhancements of Lay on Hands, but effectively reducing damage by 8 at this level in addition to my divine sanction if they if they ignore me is simply too good to pass up. Armor and magic items on there just to see what my defenses would look like in level appropriate gear.

I might be wrong, but I think Hospitalers feature only and specifically only works with challenge, and not with sanction. So at best you're looking at reducing 8 damage once per round at level 11. Not all that good in my opinion.
