6 mana for a 5/5 that flies is pretty sweet.

I never drafted in a format with DR though.

I'll go Djinn here.

I found Carmen Sandiego before you were born unless you're Zlehtnoba.

Djinn is the pick.

Djinn, definitely.

I've never drafted this format either but I would say that Priest of Titania would be my pick.  Super ramp and I'm pretty sure Elves tribal was an archtype in this format.
Drifting Djinn is a very strong 6 CMC.  The is intimidating, though.  It would take a serious color commitment to play.
I could see an argument for ritual as well.

Would people mind letting me know their thoughts on Djinn over ritual? I would still pick Djinn over Priest.
It's urza's, it's a 6drop and it kils in 4 hits.

Djinn.

Drifting Djinn but I'm peeved about having to pass that drake.

Draft black and draft it hard. I'm thinking dark ritual is better. And this black rune is really good too. hmmm
How about we take the blue and snatch up permission FTW?

Don't we have some sweet ones in Urza Block? Signs point to yes.

Djinn.  5/5 fliers win games.

Double color isn't all that serious on a 6-drop.  Plus it cycles, so if it's really a problem we can pitch it (probably to draw the second Island).

I could see an argument for ritual as well.

One-time ramp spells generally aren't good in Limited.  For one, it makes whatever you're casting a 2-for-1 before the opponent even has to do anything.  Another, it's an even worse late game topdeck than a land (and it can't replace a land in the deck).  And that's not to mention the odds of drawing it at the same time as something you want to ramp into.

Black is by far the best color in this block which is something that should interest you.
Unrelated to the pick, how good are the cyclelands?  I can see the positive past the first third of the deck, but does the format run long enough to overcome the risk of playing an early monocolor nonbasic land tapped when you could really use the mana for a fast start?

My approach was always to play all the on-color cycle lands I got.
Djinn.

Bwahaha! pestilence.
A few cards I'm considering...
Titania's Chosen can get a lot of counters.
Spire Owl isn't as strong as I'd like for a 1/1 flyer, but has a nice ETB.
Angelic Page isn't as strong as I''d like for a 1/1 flyer, but has a very good combat trick ability.
Power Sink is a very good counterspell.
Priest of Titania has a strong tribal effect.

Priest of Titania is my pick, I think.  Solid ramping ability from a relatively cheap creature.
Angelic Page seems pretty good. No idea how good Pestilence is in limited but it sure is powerful.

Pestilence

We'll hope the power sink tables.

Pestilence is pretty awesome, since you control when and how much to trigger it. At worst it's a one-time sweeper, but otherwise it can really take over a game. Plus this early we can draft around it.
Bwahaha! pestilence.

My exact reaction!

I found Carmen Sandiego before you were born unless you're Zlehtnoba.

I wanted priest last time and its still my pick this time.
Picking priest is probably 90-100% wrong. Black is by far the strongest color in this set and Pestilence is amazing.
Pestilence, it´s easy.
Pestilence for the bomb potential, though we're still a long way off from the color committment needed for it.
D&D rules were never meant to exist without the presence of a DM. RAW is a lie.
Priest of Titania. I preferred green to black in Urza block. There were a lot of aggressive creatures (Wild Dogs, Pouncing Jaguar, Albino Troll), and if we see a Rancor, well, that card wins games.

I started off with "Ooh, Titania's Chosen could get awesome," but then a few seconds later it was this.

There should be enough black to support several players.  It is the absolute strongest color in the block, with Green and Red both being serviceable.  Blue and White have very little in the way of playables, really, for limited at least.

That said, Pestilence.  Pestilence all day long, every day.  It is a powerhouse of the pack.
Corrupt is removal; i'll worry about lowering the curve soon.
Corrupt ftw. Fav card.

Corrupt please. Rest of the pack is pretty meh which is unfortunate.
If Black is as good as promised, Corrupt 3rd is pretty sweet, right?

Occassionally when catering, I've been put the task of arranging Fruit and Cheese or Grilled Vegetable platters. More than once a high class buffet has started with the mark of Phyrexia upon it. Since i've got a good eye for color so it looks great to people who don't get the "joke" (it's a niceley divided circle after all: the outline gives you 4-6 "regions" to work with), this has actually got me put on platter design more often, resulting in Phyrexia's presence at more private and industry events.

Phyrexian Ghoul. Grey Ogre is fine. I'd be okay taking Fertile Ground too if that's what people came to.
