Sacrifise a basic land, : Put X X/X black red green elemental horror wurm rabbit creature tokens into play, where X is the number of basic lands in your graveyard. Activate this ability as a sorcery.

That's a green-red-black mechanic that should appear on a green-red-black creature that in turn should produce green-red-black creature tokens, and there's nothing blue-white about your card..
interesting alteranative casting cost

holy crap. You would need a 100 levels tall scryscraper to express how through the roof the power level on this thing is.

, Sacrifice X basic lands: Put XX X/X creature tokens onto the battlefield.

Yeah. Nine 3/3's turn 3? Oh, better if you play fetchlands? Sounds fair.
Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the moon. The little dog laughed to see such sport, And the Dish ran away with the Spoon. He ran from conviction, and fed his addiction as the Dish heated the Spoon... The Spoon begged to go, but the Dish shouted : "NO!!" "The heroin will be ready soon!" "Any time doing the right thing is funny as hell, it's probably Chaotic Good." IMAGE(http://i46.tinypic.com/2jcu9fs.png)
A 1/1, 2 2/2s and 3 3/3s on turn 3, but now you have no lands left.
A 1/1, 2 2/2s and 3 3/3s on turn 3, but now your have money land left.

Playing the ability three times without letting the first resolve.

Pay the costs for all abilities, then each resolves, checking the number of lands.

The first resolves and finds 3 lands in your 'yard. Three 3/3's.

The second resolves and finds 3 lands still in your 'yard. Three more 3/3's.

The last resolves and finds 3 lands sittin' your 'yard. Final three 3/3's.

If you started with 2 fetch lands, you can make 25 5/5's.

A third fetch means 36 6/6's.

@Teq; As a heads up, it only counts basic lands in your graveyard, on the topic of fetches. (And it did before the update too.)

Oops, musta missed that. Sixteen 4/4's on turn 4 is still a bit over the top though.

Oh, I agree. Not to take into account cards like Harrow, Grisly Salvage, Faithless Looting and friends.

The creature doesn't need to have all of the three colors that I mentioned, just one or two of them! ^^;; The color that cares about basic lands in your graveyard the most would be green, that one clause makes the card pretty green..

While exponential growth is usually a bad idea, to make it work more like you're intending, you'd probably want to add the "Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery." clause.

I really like the name!

Here is my version. Sorry.

Based on the update:  I really like this.  I think it would work better if the cost were X as well.  As much as I like the idea that "as more lands are sac'd you have less mana", the fact is that you just tap each land to sac itself.

Basically:  Its a hyper-powered Ooze Flux that leaves you with no mana...until your next turn.

Yikes. Somehow I managed to miss the fact that your number of tokens grows along with the actual power of those tokens. This is one of those cards where on the first readthrough my mind tends to rewrite it to bring it back to more sane levels. That's probably a sign that the card is pretty bonkers.

More importantly, though, you have good-but-not-complete flavor! I don't think leaving the tokens without a creature type really works so well. It leaves the flavor of the mad summoner--which is good--in a sort of half-baked state. What's he summoning? How do you convert a mana bond (or even a land) into a creature? These are all very very important questions that should be prioritized over the question of whether this is broken in half. Definitely more important. [nods seriously]

At the end of your turn, you may sacrifice a basic land. If you do, put a green X/X elemental creature into play, where X is the number of basic lands in your graveyard.
1/1

I'd like it to requite 2 colour, and you said it seemed mostly green.
I've made it less unsightly.
Best. Creature types. EVER.

I can't tell though if you're seriously proposing those types or just playing off my VERY IMPORTANT COMMENT thing :P

If it is serious, I like it, although you could probably drop one or two types and get the same effect. Rabbit Wurm Horror on its own would probably work without Elemental thrown in.

Does this really make sense as a red/green creature?

Thanks, I'm being serious.

The elemental is only in there because it's like a land coming to life.
