Deathtouch question

Hi. As I understand it, if i attack with a creature with power 2 and my opponent blocks with 2 creatures each with toughness 3 then I can only assign 2 damage to the first creature in the "damamge assignment order" as per this rule

509.2. Second, for each attacking creature that’s become blocked, the active player announces that creature’s damage assignment order, which consists of the creatures blocking it in an order of that player’s choice. (During the combat damage step, an attacking creature can’t assign combat damage to a creature that’s blocking it unless each creature ahead of that blocking creature in its order is assigned lethal damage.) This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack.

However, what happens in that situation if my attacker has deathtouch? The wording of deathtouch is that any amount of damage is lethal, so can I then assign one damage to the first blocker in the order then assign the second point of damage to the other blocker and kill both of them?

Thanks

with deathtouch 1 damage is lethal

you can kill both 3/3 in this case if you want to
