Tower of Losarcum in Taladas?

One theme I've seen from a few people is the idea of the Tower of Losarcum moving to Taladas, much as how the Tower of Palanthas moved to Nightlund.

So what do you guys think of this idea? How would you develop it?

IIRC,  isn't that the tower that self-detonated so completely it took out the entire town with it,  to the extent that it left people frozen in time in glass as the sand melted?

That's a good bit different from the Tower of Palanthas's teleporting,  and TBH,  that was 5th age when the authors pretty much disregarded most of the world's rules.  If Towers could move at will (Other than Wayreth),  then the Lost Wars would've never been necessary,  they could've just kept the towers blipping around the country side until the Kingpriest's armies got sick and tired of chasing them and gave up.  Or they could've blipped all 5 of them to the Plains of Dergoth where the Dwarves would've kept Istar out,  or Icewall where Istar would've never looked.

That's the problem with the 5th age,  most of the material invalidates Krynn's history and world rules.

Yeah, Krynn hasn't really been "right" since the end of the Chaos wars.

And yes, the tower was completely destroyed before the cataclysm.  IIRC, only the tower of Palanthas and the Tower of Wayreth remained.  Losarcum, Daltigoth, and Istar were destroyed.  You could raise a new tower perhaps, but the old ones were destroyed.

If you're dead set on proceding though, I'd say that the wizards spell was /intended/ to move the tower to Taladas but something went wrong.  What seemed like an instant to the wizards, was in reality ages, as the tower was trapped in space/time by Nuitari, Solinari and Lunitari as their divinations forsaw the coming tragedies.

When the tower reappears from "stasis" so to speak, it's filled with wizards from the age of might who were thought to be lost in the "destruction" of the tower, not to mention some few Knights of Istar who had breached the tower.

That brings the tower forward into the modern timeline, re-establishes the power of the wizards.  Perhaps, if your campiagn is to be in Ansalon, the tower re-appears where it originally was.
Moving the tower of Losarcum or the Lost Tower to Taladas. Would be cool. Because would all the towers be on one continent.
