I hate minions, so i always use Swarms in place of them.  here are a couple swarms I use frequently:

Regular Infantry Squad
(15 troops, short sword/shortbow/shield/chainmail) Level 8 Solo Soldier
Gargantuan natural humanoid (6 squares x 3 squares)                   XP 1,750
Initiative +5                                                                                       Perception +4
HP 330; Bloodied 165                                                             Speed 5
AC 21; Fortitude 20; Reflex 17; Will 16
▪  The Swarm size becomes Huge immediately once bloodied, and Large when reduced to ½ bloodied.
▪  The Swarm can voluntarily reduce to 2 Huge or 4 large swarms if full strength, 1 huge and 2 larges or 3
larges if ¾-full hp, or 1 huge or 2 larges if ½-3/4 strength.
▪  Attacks vs. the Swarm are capped at 22 damage (after doubling), except that damage from close/area
attacks (after being capped) is multiplied by the # of squares in the Swarm affected by the attack.
▪  Immune to all effects and ongoing damage except those applied via close/area attacks affecting ½+ of
            the Swarm’s squares.
▪  Cannot be flanked.
▪  +2 to the Swarm’s Will defense against Intimidate if Huge-sized, -2 if Large-sized.
Shortsword Basic Attack (standard; at-will)
+15 vs AC; 1d8+9 damage
Shortbow Basic Attack (standard; at-will)
+13 vs AC; 1d6+8 damage; range 15/30
Volley of Swords and Arrows (standard; at-will)
            Effect: Make 4 shortsword and/or shortbow attacks from 4 separate Swarm squares of origin;
reduced to 2 attacks if the Swarm is reduced to Huge size, and 1 if reduced to Large.
Envelop (move; at-will; only useable while Swarm is at full gargantuan size)
May move up to 6 squares, and can move thru enemy figures if there is at least 1 non-
enemy occupied square on each side of the figures moved through.  The Swarm may end its move
on an enemy figure(s) using this action, and gets combat advantage against enemies in it’s squares.
Swarm Attack (minor; at-will; only useable while Swarm is at full gargantuan size)
Effect: Make 2 additional shortsword attacks against one enemy that is entirely within and
surrounded by your Swarm’s squares.  You are considered to have combat advantage for these
attacks, you get +2 damage to each attack, and the enemy is knocked prone if both attacks hit.
Kick ‘em While They’re Down (immediate reaction)
Trigger: An enemy is knocked prone via Swarm Attack
Effect: Make an additional shortsword attack with an additional +5 to hit (inclusive of combat
advantage and the enemy being prone), and score an automatic critical hit if you hit
Skills Endurance +10, Intimidate +9
Str 18 (+7) Dex 13 (+4) Wis 10 (+3)
Con 11 (+3) Int 12 (+4) Cha 9 (+2)

Citizen Mob (15 citizens, clubs/rocks) Level 2 Solo Soldier
Gargantuan natural humanoid (6 squares x 3 squares)                   XP 625
Initiative +1                                                                                       Perception +1
HP 150; Bloodied 75                                                               Speed 6
AC 11; Fortitude 11; Reflex 11; Will 11
▪  The Swarm size becomes Huge immediately once bloodied, and Large when reduced to ½ bloodied.
▪  Attacks vs. the Swarm are capped at 10 damage (after doubling), except that damage from close/area
attacks (after being capped) is multiplied by the # of squares in the Swarm affected by the attack.
▪  Immune to all effects and ongoing damage except those applied via close/area attacks affecting ½+ of
            the Swarm’s squares.
▪  -2 to the Swarm’s Will defense against Intimidate if Huge-sized, -4 if Large-sized.
Club Basic Melee Attack (standard; at-will)
+6 vs AC; 5 damage
Rock Basic Ranged Attack (standard; at-will)
+6 vs AC; 3 damage; range 5/10
Barrage of Clubs and Rocks (standard; at-will)
            Effect: Make 4 club and/or rock attacks from 4 separate Swarm squares of origin;
reduced to 2 attacks if the Swarm is reduced to Huge size, and 1 if reduced to Large.
There He Is! Let’s Get Him! (move; at-will; only useable while Swarm is at full gargantuan size)
May move up to 6 squares, and can move thru enemy figures ifs there is at least 1 non-
enemy occupied square on each side of the figures moved through.  The Swarm may end its move
on an enemy figure(s) using this action, and gets combat advantage against enemies in its squares.
The Power of the Mob (minor; at-will; only useable while Swarm is at full gargantuan size)
Effect: Make 2 additional club attacks against one enemy that is entirely within and
surrounded by your Swarm’s squares.  You are considered to have combat advantage for these
attacks, you get +2 damage to each attack, and the enemy is knocked prone if both attacks hit.
Kick ‘em While They’re Down (immediate reaction)
Trigger: An enemy is knocked prone via Mob Attack.
Effect: Make an additional club attack with an additional +5 to hit (inclusive of combat
advantage and the enemy being prone), and score an automatic critical hit if you hit.
Panicked Stampede (immed. reaction when first bloodied and every time hit thereafter, max once/round)
Effect: The Swarm moves 5 squares away from the creature who hit it, and does a +6 melee attack
vs. any creature (friendly/enemy) whose space it moves through – any creature thus hit is
knocked prone, pushed 1 square in the direction the Swarm is headed, takes 5 damage, and
is subject to another such attack if the Swarm moves into their square again.  A creature hit
by a second such attack is not pushed any further.  After the Swarm finishes this move, the
Swarm is dazed and suffers a -2 to all defenses until the end of its next turn.

I'm not really following what the point of this thread is ?  If you want to show off your homebrew elements (and you're using several including homebrew rules) then the homebrew section of the forums is probably better to post in:
