Are three Moonsilver Spears too much for one deck?

I have a low average mana cost deck and whenever i draw this card I always win so I was wondering if adding two more would be effective.

If you always win when you draw moonsilver spear, you're playing at a low enough level that the exact quantity of moonsilver spears in your deck isn't that important.

It's no wonder they choose Garfield, they're so much alike; that's exactly what happened to him and Magic.

far out, I was exaggerating but you appear to be a mindless drone who lurks forums to get back at the big guy, so I accept your venting with no hard feelings.
honestly there is no way for us to tell unless we know what your deck is running, and how it would interact in the deck its impossible to make a fair judgement about a deck we havn't seen; also moonsilver spear  is widely regarded as a casual card because its too expensive to get out and too expensive to equip, remember we just got out of a meta game in which sword of feast and famine  and sword of war and peace  were legal and we're all spoiled by them, the swords make moonsilver spear  look like a really bad joke.

No, he's pretty much right. If you have the leeway to spend two turns to cast/equip the spear, then your opponents aren't doing anything noteworthy and you can win with just about anything.

And if you are casting and equipping it on turn 8, then your opponents aren't even trying.
any amount is too many

Noticed and note xD

Yes, three spears is WAY too many for your trade binder. You'll never get rid of them.

Oh... well I take it back.

Moonsilver Spear is a terrific card. At 2 mana and 2 to equip, this card would see infinite play. So the problem is costing spare mana here and spare mana there.

There are sideboarded matchups where this card shines over any other option. It dodges Abrupt Decay. It lives through Verdict. You really want to be playing creatures that have no business attacking to maximize its effectiveness (what's the fun in this card if you're winning with a big creature already?) Creatures that give you a body and value work best (Elvish Visionary, Ravenous Rats, Augur of Bolas).

There's a time and place for almost any card; I like the prospects of Moonsilver Spear.
The simple fact is that the Spear costs eight mana over two turns in order for you to use it. I don't want to declare it flat-out unplayable, but I would be extremely hesitant to use it myself.
