Me or Matt? Oh well, I know who. LOL

As for me, I just made a mythology reference. The Greeks put lots of weird stuff in their myths.

I'm really loving the entire concept of "Matt Holck attempts to instruct other people on the notion of clarity." This contest is a work of art in and of itself. I mean, it's Dadaist art, but art nevertheless.

";" (semi-colons) = "then" sperates a triggered condition(if,when, whenever) from a result (if condition then result)

cute representation of the problem
but I was looking for clarity

it is rare that a creature will have an alternative method of dealing damage besides combat

I figure let the psionic gift combo work to allow creatures that trigger effects upon dealing damage work.

The greatest benefit is not have to write "combat" damage on the card.
"that" is always a reference that is not the card
"until" shall be replaced with "to" to end of turn.

mana count = converted mana cost
Stalking Mountain Lion Creature Cat
Echo (Pay echo your next turn before drawing
after this enters play, or sacrifice this)
Double Strike
(does combat damage twice. Once as first strike)

I was browsing through some cards in gatherer and I noticed something really odd - the transforming cards from Innistrad like Mayor of Avabruck have separate comments and ratings for each side. Isn't that totally stupid? It feels as senseless as having two different pages for each side of a split card or having different pages for Nimble Mongoose with and without threshold.

I think the controller determining how their creatures deal damage to opposing creature is intuitive.
And certainly a lot simpler than current rules for parsing out damage.

Combat damage a creature deals is distributed by the creature's controller among creatures opposing it.
rule change
A trampling creatures may assign its damage to a single blocker.

A creature with banding may band with other creatures with banding and 1 creature without banding.
Those creatures attack and block as a single creature.
If a creature that is banded can be blocked, all creatures banded with it can be block,
If a creature with banding is opposed , the banding creature's controller determines
how the opposing creatures combat damage is distributed among the banded creatures.

Rule Change Banding
A blocking creature with banding may band with other creatures with banding and 1 creature without banding.
Why cant u guys just give Matt Hlock a chance?

LAURIE ANDERSON - LANGUAGE IS A VIRUS

[Georgia font for general game rules written on cards.]

Georgia is a Serif font.

The stone cutters would etch a thin line
before carving the rest of each letter
to prevent chipping of the inscription.

html code
<font face=georgia>Georgia font</font>

Definition of SERIF:
any of the short lines stemming from and at an angle
to the upper and lower ends of the strokes of a letter.

Because Sarif derives from stone cutting,
it is traditionally considered to be the letter of the law.
No, the creature Becomes the token right? That's the intent of the original card, in my interpretation. So, if someone wants to Murder your Crows, just make them into a little man for a minute - perhaps constructed from old clothes and straw, and then bring the Crows back when he dies.

This was the original intent of the card. Any spells that target the original creature should still target the token, and the token keeps all auras/equipment/counters and the same state (tapped/untapped/attacking/blocking/etc.)

I have no good way of wording it though.

community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...

[Any spells targeting the original creature
 are now targeting the replacement.
The Replacement keeps all auras/equipment/chips,
