What do you guys think of a deck that woul revolve around these 6 cards
Build it and test it! I want to believe that it would work.

Man, I used to love my Land Destruction/Upkeep deck.  Power Leak, Stone rain, Feedback, Creature Bond, Musician.

Then it became taboo and "rude" to play land destruction or upkeep denial.  Whatever, I find control decks just as rude.

I think you're best bet for land destruction these days is to go B/G and ramp as fast as you can.  As someone pointed out to me:  Chronic Flooding is an expensive Tormented Soul that wouldn't do anything towards land denial unless you had a VERY strong mill deck.

Splashing white might also help for Sphere of Safety like effects.

far out man, great insight!
I'm playing LD in standard at the moment, through Acidic Slime, a bunch of ramp (Arbor Elf, Avacyn's Pilgrim, Farseek) and loads of copy and blinking abilities (Cackling Counterpart, Ghostly Flicker, Conjurer's Closet).
I Populate the tokens that the 'Counterpart makes with Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage and Growing Ranks.
The Deck's really hard on the Manabase though, idealy I want to ramp into 2 green sources by turn 3 so I can drop the slime, have a white or 2 blue next turn to Cloudshift or 'Counterpart it! Hopefully it'll all come together once I get Breeding Pools.
far out man, great insight!

so straight foward it didn't even need me to elaborate

@OP: Look, don't get too mad a burning for his comments. They may seem blunt, but understand that this deck seems like a fun/casual build. It's not going to be very competitive and the standard deck help section of the forums is mainly filled with players that only build competitive decks. Most of the frequent posters aren't going to bother helping with a deck strategy that isn't tier 1 or tier 2. It's sad, but true. The name of the section (or at least description) should be edited to reflect this because many new posters run into the same problem that you're facing now. You'll have better luck getting help for this deck in the casual play section of the forums. There you'll find frequent posters that are more open to off the wall/casual/fun builds. Just mention in your thread title/opening post that you want to keep the deck standard. The replies are slower, but eh you'll get more support for this type of deck that way.

That being said, cheap creatures are nice for a land destruction deck, but you're wanting to use enchantments here in a deck that includes delver. I know there's only a few cards listed so far, but as you construct this, be mindful of the fact you want at least 19 or more instants and sorceries if you want to keep delver around as a useful creature. Also, you may not have many lands out at any given time, but you don't have to only rely on one drops... just make sure to use cheap creatures (cmc <4).

As for land destruction, ghost quarter isn't that great of a "land destruction" card ATM. Yes it can get rid of pesky lands like Gavony Township for a non threatening basic land, but more often than not players aren't going to play with lands like that in this meta (maybe kessig wolf run, but eh). The main non-basic lands players are going to be running are going to produce colored mana (Stomping Ground, Temple Garden ect...) if you kill off those lands, hoping that the opponent loses a color they were relying on that land for they're just gonna fetch a basic that produces the color that they lost... hope that made sense... anyway, try looking at cards for land destruction, don't rely on the quarter. Also it's a shame that Smallpox isn't standard anymore, land destruction was allot more viable when it was.

The enchantments you're wanting to run don't fit the land destruction theme, they fit a 'land tax' theme. They go best with cards like Aether Barrier, Propaganda and Soul Barrier ect... Cards that force your opponent to ether waste their mana them on or suffer some sort of consequence. Mana Web also works well with enchantments like the ones you picked out. Anycase, what I'm getting at is, if you want to play with enchantments like those, play with cards like Izzet Charm, Soul Tithe and Sphere of Safety to force your opponent's to tap the lands. Land destruction doesn't fit that theme at all since you want their lands to stay on the field with those enchantments. In a land destruction deck you want them to have no lands so they can't play anything or at least are behind you in curve... They conflict each other...

Hope this helps and like I said try posting this in the casual play section of the forums, you'll have better luck/appreciation for a build like this.
