No Gatecrash? How predictably disappointing.

Glacing at the pool, 3 x daggerdrome imp plus a bunch of scavenge and pump, makes me think golgari all the way. Probably white for the splash to get the two removal spells.

Golgari looked appealing but due to the lack of evasive creatures it seemed like a trap to me. Azorius looks like it would better take this one. Hybrid mana on the Weirds mean they still work in blue.

Wizard's first rule: People are stupid.
Golgari splash red.  I hated to lose frostburn weird, but I couldn't support it.
The chain walker is no good late game so he got cut, but the splatter thug seems disgusting with any sort of pump spell attached to him so he got the nod.

3 pump enchantments and 4 scavengers (whoops 5 scavengers, forgot the wurm) along with 3 imps seems like a recipe for success to me.

White splash is another option instead of the red.  You get 4 kill cards instead of 2 pump spells a first striking beater and a kill spell.

MaRo: One of the classic R&D stories happened during a Scars of Mirrodin draft. Erik Lauer was sitting to my right (meaning that he passed to me in the first and third packs). At the end of the draft, Erik was upset because I was in his colors (black-green). He said, "Didn't you see the signals? I went into black-green in pack one." I replied, "Didn't you see my signals? I started drafting infect six drafts ago."
