He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. -Revelation 21:6
Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.-John Donne, Meditation XVII

Urru thought about it for a minute and then nodded, flitting back over to Pruinus. "Zebusdeathlord thinks I should travel with you, Pruinuscoldone. I think this is a good idea too." The little godling hovered near her shoulder. "Whenever you want to go, we'll go together."
"A'right. Bring out the last volunteer for her reward." Dayrus shouted to one of his cohorts. He'd already turned six people in the last four days, but he figured he had enough juice left to make one or two more golems. His crew had grown in size since the explosion, most notably after finding his new right-hand man Char beneath a mound of dead Spawn. He'd pulled the poor burnin' bugger out of from under the pile of acid-dripping corpses and the emberman had pledged his life to him. Char didn't talk much, but Dayrus respected that. It was even better that he was a magic-user; he was a very nice tool in Dayrus' arsenal.
"Once this war is over, Char, you'n me're gonna find ourselves a little place. Maybe a nice little town whats needin' protection from the Spawn. We're gonna make sure they got the fear in 'em, and make sure they ain't too brave round us neither. 'Specially with our golem buddies." He took hold of his captive's blonde hair. She couldn't have been more than twelve. "Please, please mister, don't do this! I won't tell no one I swear! I gotta protect my lil sister! I'm all she's got!" she pleaded, her big brown eyes full of tears. Dayrus squatted in front of her and held up her head. "Oh don't you worry about that none, love. You'll be with her very soon. Ya see that golem there? The one with that big sword-arm? There she is!"
The young girl's eyes widened and she let out a half-sob, half-scream of despair that was cut short when Dayrus snuffed out her soul. In minutes there was another new golem and another body to burn. "'Ey, Char. Time ta go ta work." Without a word the Agni'Vohda reduced the girl's corpse to ash. Char knelt next to the remains and drew a small symbol in the embers, saying a quiet prayer to send her on her way. "Ya done? I really don't get that whole business but hey, as long as you do what needs to be done I could care less how you finish the job. Now we got a lotta ground ta cover. Let's move out, men!"
The train of wagons pulled forward, the two newly-formed golems walked side by side. Slowly, the breeze carried away the ashes. Slowly, and silently.

You and your slights. We were born upon this realm. Given its gifts. We haven’t exactly been most kind to it, I will give you that. There was no power struggle that you have talked about. There is no plan, order sacrificed so that this realm may continue on. We had nothing and were given everything. YOU sent out those hordes! YOU are the one that destroyed the land! YOU forced my hand and caused the destruction around us.
Ever so slightly edging out his sword from the sheath, only the barest of metal shows.
I was not afraid to attack you. I had more concern for my dear friend than you had for yourself! I showed you my back not because I was afraid to fight you, but because you were afraid of the power I wield. There is no betrayer. The only one that made you what you are is you!
I will say this, I have come to finish this. Not what I started, but what YOU started! Hate breads destruction, and destruction leads only to death and that is me!
The winds blowing his cloak back, and his hat flutters off of his head into the wind, showing long flowing white hair. Zebus stands firm ready for what ever outburst the god of hate may have for him.
