Probably would be better as a 0/2, but even then it'd still be bad. I'd be happier with this at uncommon.

Echo's good. Too good.

As is this card. Favorite card spoiled so far, and not even of my chosen guild.

hmm...Some fun mana ramp evolve.

I find it kinda weird though since it doesn't help since you can't ramp until you play one more creature.

The fact that this needs at least one Evolve activation before ramping kinda sours it for me, but I'm sure it will find a home in kitchen table elves and EDH.

Also seems pretty draftable.
Now Increasing Savagery pays for itself.
Meh it's alright I guess in limited.

I thought it was Viridian Joiner then I realized that it was just horrible.
No amount of insanity can make a 2drop mana dork compare to a 1drop, but at least this is more easily abused than Axebane Guardian. Should be a fun card, regardless, with all the good enablers it has in Standard, and Elvish Archdruid.
Standard Pauper! (play it on MTGO)
Oh wow...
... I wonder if her gyre is infinite too? ;)

This chick is pretty good.  Makes me look at Evolve a little more positively.

I like it cause you do not have to use evolve to get the bonus from it, I mean increasing savagery nets you one mana the turn you cast it so one could savagery into thragtusk on turn four and have 10 mana open next turn for Revelation shenanigans.

Well...no, actually, technically the real best manadork of all time is a three drop, but that's not even green.

Back on topic: this card is kinda bad.  Play it turn 2 and...find yourself unable to use it for ramp turn 3.  Or play it as an aggressive threat which can get big...except there's already a 1 drop evolve creature in green that regenerates and starts with the same power so....

Funny story: InQuest Magazine (I think it was InQuest) had an oversized Chaos Orb which I totally rooked someone into allowing into a (non-sanctioned) game. I had a proxy card that was a Mountain with "Chaos Orb" written on it. When I played it, my opponent cried foul: Him: "WTF? a Proxy? no-one said anything about Proxies. Do you even own an actual Chaos Orb?" Me: "Yes, but I thought it would be better to use a Proxy." Him: "No way. If you're going to put a Chaos Orb in your deck you have to use your actual Chaos Orb." Me: "*Sigh*. Okay." I pulled out this huge Chaos Orb and placed it on the table. He tried to cry foul again but everyone else said he insisted I use my actual Chaos Orb and that was my actual Chaos Orb. I used it, flipped it and wiped most of his board. Unsurprisingly, that only worked once and only because everyone present thought it was hilarious.

Hi guys! So, I'm a sort of returning player to Magic. I say sort of because as a child I had two main TCG's I liked. Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. Some of my friends branched off in to Magic, and I bought two pre-made decks just to kind of fit in. Like I said, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon were what I really knew how to play. I have a extensive knowledge of deck building in those two TCG's. However, as far as Magic is concerned, I only ever used those two pre made decks. I know how the game is played, and I know general things, but now I want to get in the game for real. I want to begin playing it as a regular. My question is, are all cards ever released from the time of the inception of this game until present day fair game in a deck? Or are there special rules? Are some cards forbidden or restricted? Thanks guys, and I will gladly accept ANY help lol.
I have the same problem with women.

That's what RPJesus tends to do. That's why I don't think he's a real person, but some Magic Card Archive Server sort of machine, that is programmed to react to other posters' comments with obscure cards that do in fact exist, but somehow missed by even the most experienced Magic players. And then come up with strange combos with said cards. All of that is impossible for a normal human to do given the amount of time he does it and how often he does it. He/It got me with Light of Sanction, which prompted me to go to RQ&A to try and find if it was even possible to do combat damage to a creature I control (in light that Mark of Asylum exists).

Blue players get all the overpowerered cards like JTMS. I think it's time that wizards gave something to people who remember what magic is really about: creatures.
Initially yes, Wizards was married to blue. However, about a decade ago they had a nasty divorce, and a few years after that they began courting the attention of Green. Then in Worldwake they had a nasty affair with their ex, but as of Innistrad, things seem to have gotten back on track, and Wizards has even proposed.
You are my favorite. Yes you. And moments like this make it so. Thank you RPJesus for just being you.

10/10. Amazing.
Yikes - yet another Simic card that is a candidate for my Animar EDH deck.  Heck, it is even good enough for Stonebrow.
This will see use in any format where it can be played alongside Immaculate Magistrate. In Standard you have Hunger of the Howlpack and Blessings of Nature. Battlegrowth may not be the highest rated card but when used on this it pays for itself. Also, Primal Cocoon ramps counters every turn. Adding to the genius is the fact you won't want to attack or block with this as long as you're using it to ramp mana. And the RTR block also gives us Golgari's Scavengers. Scavenge a couple Slitherheads onto this and you have instant mana ramp.

Ring of Kalonia can also be used to place counters on this. You know, the farther RTR block proceeds, the more use I see for the Rings.

Oh, Urza block...
Still, though, none of those are very good in this standard environment. Cobra without fetches? Titania without legacy elves? Rofellos would probably be played with shocklands about, but he is a rare from urza...
Standard Pauper! (play it on MTGO)
this is going in my omnath, locus of mana edh deck. oh, the fun times we'll have

Neat, very powerful and efficient dork.

My Seton krosan protector druid edh is happy for this.

I'm not sure what to think about this one.  I could see it being good.  But it could also really end up sucking.
wow... blessings of nature, increasing savagery deck with this guy, fathom mage and the simic guildmage seems to be a fun deck. Throw in a craterhoof behemoth and/or biomass mutation for sudden win.
Great mana dork.
seems good, but not proving any mana by itself is a little bit of a negative point against it.
I can see uses for this...

In limited... turn 2 this into turn 3 burning tree emissary (giving you and a +1/+1 counter), tapping this for and casting, say, Ghor-Clan Rampager, giving you 9 power on the board.

In constructed... turn 2/3 this, turn 4 increasing savagery, tap for casting wolfir silverheart, giving you 18 power on the board (and the ability to flashback increasing savagery for a further 10 points of power next turn).
Interesting. A creature that will give you more mana the more creatures you end up bringing out? I think this is a really nifty evolve card. Mana ramping is never a bad thing. I like it but I want to see the rest of the simic stuff before I decide if it is constructed playable yet or not.

In limited this is defintely good though.
Diminishing returns on getting counters on her from evolve, but Gavony Township is going to do some work for Simic in Standard.
Hunger of the Howlpack is starting to become a bit of an all round Simic joke now...

This will easily be going in my tribal-elves...especially since every card after turn 2 will have power + to Evolve it, making it even easier to combo off.

DCI Judge Level 1

Travel Preparations? Seems casual.
Another point for Corpsejack Manace... Enters battlefield with this in play and you get additional   to spend
as a ramp creature, it's pretty awful.  as a 1/2 evolve creature that randomly gives you tons of mana sometimes, it's interesting.  vanilla 3/4 for 1G is a pretty good deal.
seems good with mark of mutiny to make a whole bunch of mana one turn.
This guy looks pretty good to me. I expect he'll see a lot of play.

Decent ramp.
Wish it was a non-elf tribal creature though (merfolk, snake, human, wall, ooze, etc) - other kids want new toys, too.
Works better in classic ramp than tempo elfball imho.
My first thought was "Ghave, Guru of Spores has found another mana dork."
