UW Control for FNM (Not UW Flash)

I took this deck to my FNM and went 3-2, played 2 control mirrors, one of which ran a Moorland Haunt/Misthollow Griffin combo that I really couldn't deal with. The other was Izzet control and I didn't have too much trouble, but I did almost deck out. I also played a BG Zombies that just wrecked me. The other two were a GW aggro and UW Humans, those weren't so bad. It should be noted I didnt have my sideboard yet, but I do now.

Some considerations I have had were to go to 3x Syncopate and 3x Dissipate instead of 4 and 2. The other thing I wished I had a lot was Elixir of Immortality. I'm having trouble finding what to take out though. Finally, the last thing I noticed was that Lone Revenant wasn't terribly useful, so I've considered swapping him out for either 2 other bombs, but I don't know what yet, or 2 Augur of Bolas, but I'm not sure I'm instant/sorcery heavy enough to run it here. I have also considered Runechanter's Pike, but same problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

PS: I'm trying to get my hands on some Tamiyo, the Moon Sage as a 1 or 2-of, but it's really hard to find around here. Any comments on whether that will add enough value or not would be much appreciated!

PSS: I felt the need to add the parentheses part to the title because it seems like every UW control deck I find ends up being UW Flash.

I feel like this deck doesn't have enough to actually kill someone.  I mean, I know it's meant for control, but it's all defense and very little offense.  Maybe it's just personal taste saying this, but decks with so few creatures just worry me.

There are plenty of ways to get creatures while still playing defensively.  Fiend Hunter, for instance.  There's also Angel of Serenity, Archon of the Triumvirate, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Geist of Saint Traft...the list goes on.
splash black for nephalia drownyard.  virtual free roll win con.  also, add at least 2 lands to your count, regardless.

ghost quarter is pretty worthless, so drownyards would be a much better use of your colorless land.

rewind isn't as good here as it would be in UW flash, so run dissipates instead.  the reduced mana is far more important than the untap since you have less instant speed spells.

if you don't have sphinx's revelation, then i don't think you can get away with even playing this deck.

First off, I'd like to say thanks for the suggestions! Now:

@zephyr77: I have considered replacing the Revenants with some bombs, so what would you reccomend out of those? I have tried Archon of the Triumvirate and it's too slow to work for me, I like the Reaver in its place because it draws me cards and refuels my hand. The fiend hunter takes care of some problems, but i have 6 enchantments that do the same thing and more. I realize the body makes a difference, but i'd rather have a bigger one that's a threat. Angel of Serenity I've considered, and with it's recent price drop I can actually pick it up now and its a triple fiend hunter at worst, so not bad. Avacyn would combo well with my Entreat tokens so that's a plus for her. Geist I've considered, but I've determined it's more of a midrange/aggro thing. Correct me if I'm wrong however. Avacyn also has the advantage that she lets me verdict with her and my tokens on the battlefield, which is really good. So I guess what I'm asking is out of those, what do you reccomend most?

@Burning_Forest: I have considered the drownyard, so would you recommend one drownyard and one drowned catacomb then? I've seen some lists that run one drownyard and one black source like that. Then I can take out the two Revenants. So the changes here would look like:

-2 Lone Revenant
+1 Drowned Catacomb
+1 Nephalia Drownyard

The only thing I'm worried about here is the one black source may not be enough, but it seems to work in some lists I've seen. Any suggestions as to how many black sources are enough?

The thing about Ghost Quarter that appeals to me is that I run 8 counterspells mainboard, so the Ghost Quarters popping a Cavern of Souls is crucial for me sometimes. It's also my only out to other troublesome lands such as Gavony Township, Moorland Haunt and even an opponent's Nephalia Drownyard as well as some others I missed, but I guess that's more of a sideboard thing, it's just a lot of people run Cavern of Souls. So that's my reasoning, I'm open to any counterarguments however, I'm not exactly thrilled about having to pop my own land.

I think you're 100% correct about Rewind here. I'll probably just replace those with 2 more Dissipate.

This deck does miss Sphinx's Revelation, but I'm working on picking up one or two, do you feel that that's enough?

i'd run 4 drowned catacombs, 4 isolated chapel and 2 or 3 drownyards  it's a virtual free roll with only a slight hinderance on your overall mana, but it makes up for it by giving you a very reliable win condition that suits the archetype very well.

Edited the OP to reflect changes in the deck:

-2 Lone Revenant (Wasn't doing enough for me)
+2 lands (needed to go up to 26)

 -2 Rewind
+2 Dissipate

Sideboard Change:
-1 Nevermore (Too vulnerable to things like Abrupt Decay and Golgari Charm)
+1 Witchbane Orb (Yes, I realize you only need one, but consistency is nice, it can be dead once one's down though)

@Burning_Forest: I think that's a good idea, I was already considering going Esper once Gatecrash is released for Obzedat and maybe even an extort card or two as well as the Dimir Charm, so I need to pick those up anyway. The deck will probably change drastically by then however, to make room. I'm working on picking those lands up, but my local shop is all out, they go quick. I do have Drownyard though, so once I pick those up, they will be incorporated, thanks for the suggestion!

Finally, good news, my shop finally has Jace, Architect of Thought and Snapcaster Mage! However, they only have one Snapcaster, but three Jace. Unfortunately, finances only allow me to pick up one of each or two Jace. Thereby lies my dilemma, what helps the deck more? Snapcaster or an additional Jace? I'm going in tomorrow to pick them up before they're gone, so any suggestions would be appreciated before then! I'm just not sure what helps more. Or should I get neither and try and hold off until they get some Sphinx's Revelation and/or Tamiyo, the Moon Sage? I can afford any combination of any 2 of these cards.

jace adds far more to the deck that snapcaster mage does

Your deck needs 24 lands, not 26. With 26 lands, you will mana flood more often than you want. There is a 6% probability of drawing six lands in your first eight cards and a 22% chance of drawing five lands. Edit: Disregard.

please do not do this.   control decks MUST draw lands, and have card draw to mitigate any "flooding".

So 26 lands is correct?

Thank you for the clarification: I retract my comment and add a +1/+1 counter to Lessons Learned.
How is Entreat the Angels working for you? That would be something i would consider cutting. Maybe add in a single Angel of Serenity to get back any other lost bombs. as for the other spot maybe consider a planeswalker.
