Why don't we just rocket some life to other planets? (or moons like Titan)

So, we know that there's water on mars.  There are lakes of methane on titan.  Saturn and Jupiter are cloud giants mixed with all kinds of stuff.  Since we're not finding life there, why don't we send life there?

Is there a "moral" reason why we wouldn't want life to be spread as far and wide as possible so as to ensure that "life" continues/spreads throughout the universe long after we're gone?

It would already be happening if it didn't cost so many almighty dollars to do it. There are a few pretty solid plans to get the ball rolling by 2023ish for human occupation of Mars. I agree though, we need to start moving off world, I've thought this way for eons.
