Reading the remainder text of Scavenge:

Exile this card from your graveyard: Put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to this card's power on target creature. Scavenge only as a sorcery.

I was wondering, Is there some way to modify (increase or decrease) the power on a creature card while it's in the graveyard?
not really, but there are some cards modify their power and toughness even in the graveyard, like Maro

You might have better luck [C=Corpsejack Menace]affecting[/C] the number of counters.
Yeah thks I already know about it, and many others cards, but I was thinking of some shenanigans that I didn't try yet

Like "Target creature card in a graveyard gets +3/+3 until end of turn"?

Nope, doesn't exist, and I doubt it'd work anyway...

Mmmh, now that I think of it, there is this creature. :P

Anything can happen in mtg I guess. :D
