I am trying to get back into the FNM tourney scene after a bit of a absence (quit after the original ravnica) and decided to make a deck similar to one I was running originally (however the original also had red but atm I'm keeping this to G/W) some insight would be nice the point of this deck is to start the assault early with low cost creatures with the help of rancor and growth to try to have the game won as quickly as possible if not already in the bag.
(and yes I know I need my temple garden)

creatures-
4 dryad militant
4 warclamp mastiff
4 young wolf
4 trained caracal
4 strangleroot geist

other-
2 giant growth
4 rancor
4 selesnya charm
4 call of the conclave
4 midnight haunting
4 lingering souls

4 sunpetal grove
9 forest
9 plains

Side deck (built more for dealing with specific threats and strats)
4 oblivion ring
4 soul tithe or prey upon
4 tormod's crypt (very large amount of graveyard manipulation at my FNM scene)
3 erase

I've thought about adding 2 growth and removing 2 souls

The one drops in white / green are somewhat weak. Dryad Militant does give you two power for one mana, but otherwise you'd need to have Humans to support Champion of the Parish of Knights/Soldiers to support War Falcon. I wouldn't want to play Warclamp Mastiff, Young Wolf or Trained Caracal.

I suspect the only workable alternative is to use Arbor Elf and / or Avacyn's Pilgrim and raise your mana curve accordingly.

With the amount of pump spells you have, Fencing Ace and Silverblade Paladin could be better alternatives than Midnight Haunting and Lingering Souls.

Edit: You need more green lands for the Strangleroot Geist to be reliable. Thirteen gives you just a 56% chance of two on the second turn. Upping it to 16+ would work. You don't have any double white casting costs so far, but the Temple Gardens would still be good.
i generally have a ton of GY shenanigan too

i plan at the very least sideboarding rest in peace

Growth is too cute.

Caracal and mastiff need out, young wolf too.
Instead, try Avacyn's pilgrim, maybe Arbor elf.

Next you want some beef. Centaur healer is rather well costed for what it does; a 3/3 for 3 that heals 3 is neat.

Armada wurm is a cool dude. 2 5/5s for 6 is a good deal to me.

Just some ideas.
Could some of these changes to the MD work

-4 caracal
-4 mastiff
-4 souls ( I still like hauntings instant speed however)
-2 growth

+4 fencing ace
+3 silverblade paladin
+3 war falcon

I am trying to keep this deck as fast as possible due to just how much control and decks that dominate in the late game, I actually like the wolf strangely as it has worked well but the mastiff and caracal have GOT to go was working with what I had atm.

You want a fast GW Aggro? Go humans.

4 Champion if the Parish
4 Avacyns Pilgrim
3 Thalia
4 Precinct Captain
4 Mayor of Avabruck
4 Silverblade
3 Champion of Lambholt
3 Sublime Archangel

4 Rancor
3 Oblivion Ring
2 Ajani, Healer of the Pride.
Oh, forgot lands.

8 duals, 3 Gavony Township, 4 Cavern of Souls, split of Forests and Plains. Maybe a single Temple that makes an 8/8 token, but I'd skip it.

I never liked using pilgrim in a GW humans deck, I don't know why, but usually I prefer Doomed Traveler
2:25 PM sneakattackkid: my basics are worth more... 5:21 PM Nighthavk_: I was splitting more 8-4s than a hooker splits her legs. 11:42 PM Nighthavk_: because honestly, your opponent may be caw, but he'll probably be a drooling idiot who just found out porn exists.
It's an option I had forgotten, though Traveller is a bit worse with Zombies everywhere (Pillar of Flame).

Sometimes Pilgrim into Silverblade into Angel or Pilgrim into Lambholt is just brutal.

it is. before rtr, turn two blade splicer was painful then into restoration angel
i think if you can find a threatening 3cmc, keep pilgrims, like silverblade

creatures-
4 dryad militant
4 Spectral Rider
4 young wolf
3 silverblade paladin
4 strangleroot geist
3 war falcon

other-

4 rancor
4 selesnya charm
4 call of the conclave
4 midnight haunting

4 sunpetal grove
8 forest
10 plains

This is a newer version of the deck, I have been using it and have been enjoying the change as it seems much more effective, the spectral rider I'm liking how with the low amount of white being played in my area norm keeps him being unblockable, and remember with war falcon it doesn't have to be a human knight or soldier. Some additional thoughts other than that I need my shocklands would be nice and wolf is not near as bad as many people state it is.
