For those who do not know what Comeliness is; It’s an attribute with the six, making it a seventh stat which indicates what your appearance is. The higher the stat the more chances you had to distract a warrior or get good deals from a merchant. The lower the stat the uglier your character got which if the stat was really low you basically got a horror factor, so to speak.
In 1E it appears in the Unearthed Arcana. It gives the characters a chance to fascinate others or enemies. The stat was strongly affected by the charisma score and race. In 2E the charisma and comeliness score was combined into a stat made up of two separate numbers.
I remember hearing they were talking about returning this stat to the game either in one of the Gen con vids or somewhere on the forums. I hope they do either as a core stat or an optional rule. This stat is fun to use when dealing with other players or NPCs. What do you think?
