Some Warlock and skill questions/concerns

We just finished our first playtest of the rules in DnD Next, and for the most part we love it.

A bit of background on us. We all started playing together through a Pathfinder game, but then started trying older games, such as Palladium and older editions of DnD. We really love both rules heavy/light systems.

Here are some basic concerns we have:

1) The Warlock class seems to be pretty ridiculous. If we're reading the rules right then the Warlock should be able to use their Eldritc Blast without a break. I'm fine with that, but 3d6 seems pretty overpowered. To be fair, the Warlock died more than the fighter...

2) Is there a spells per day for the Warlock?

3) Are there any restrictions on skill usage, as in skills that you cant use unless trained?

4) Finally can a character heal another with a Healer Kit? We had a Fighter and the Warlock, so no magic healing. we ended saying that they couldn't, and the Fighter dragged the aforementioned dead Warlock out of the dungeon.

We'll probably have more the more we play, but these were our main problems on first glance.

Thanks guys. May all your rolls be crits!
If 3d6 damage is offset by being a glass cannon, then that's fine. And Warlocks don't have a "spells per day" limit because they can only cast spells as rituals. If you meant invocations, the Patron's Favors you use recharge after an encounter.
