I know all the usual things: Fog, Counterspell, Heroes' Reunion, Lightning Helix, Doom Blade...I want your best original use for Isochron Scepter.

One of mine is Tel-Jilad Defiance or Aggressive Urge, targeting Precursor Golem every time.

rampant growth, orim's chant, silence, hymn to tourach, any of the 2cmc flickers, brainstorm, sinkhole, word of command, eladamri's call, most charms just some things i've had fun with on isochron.

Magic the Drinking Game rules
here are the rules for MtDG: 1.at the beginning of each players turn that player takes a drink. 2.whenever a permanent you control is placed in a graveyard from play, drink. 3. whenever a spell you play is countered, drink. if the countered spells caster attempts to counter the counter, the loser of the counter battle must drink for a number of seconds for each counterspell that went on the stack. 4. whenever a player "loses life" that player must drink for a number of seconds equal to amount of life lost. (a) if a player would gain life, that player may make another player drink for a number of seconds equal to amount of life gained. 5. if a player puts a card from their library into their graveyard that player drinks for a number of seconds equal to the number of cards placed in graveyard. 6.if a player would discard a card that player drinks for a number of seconds equal to cards discarded. 7. on any coinflip the loser must drink. 8. at the end of each game all players must finish their drink. 9. loser must fetch all drinks/refills for the next game. if playing multiplayer use a**hole heirarchy(president,vp,secretary,treasurer,a**hole) 10. a player who wins 3 consecutive matches may add a "world effect" that affects all players and can not be removed without winning 3 consecutive matches and negating effect. multiple effects stack i.e if person wins 3 games then wins another 3 games both effects that player created stack. 11. ALL cards are legal, including ante cards.

You can put it on a stick because one side is an instant that costs 2 or less.  But when you cast it, you can choose either side.  There are other split cards you can do it with, but I like this one best.
my bad been awile since i actually had, used,or read one just remembered was up to 2 cc spell. and i dont mouse every autocard when i read.

With a pair of scepters out, you could keep dropping Siren's Call then Moment of Silence on your opponent.

also Spawning Breath can net you tokens/mana ramp from it.

Roar of the Kha, with March of the Machines in play, and a bunch of mana producing Myr or other artifacts. Yes, you can pay the Entwine cost as you play the copied spell. So long as you can produce three mana at a go, you can play the Roar, untap your stuff, float a mana if you need to (which you won't if you can produce at least 4 at a go), Roar with Entwine, and so forth.

Net result: All of your dudes have arbitrarily high P/T until end of turn. Swing for the fences.

I feel like you'd rather play Grafted Skullcap in a lot of those situations. Though I guess having a Sceptor in your deck gives you the ability to do other useful things with it.
My girlfriend recently had pretty good results from putting Brainstorm on it.
My mill deck runs Brain Freeze on there.

Yeah, it also lets you get another card a turn. And dangerous wager is a pretty alright card on it's own anyway.
