First time I post here, didn't figure out how to copy the decklist, so I enter it manually.

I found the exalted + sunstriker element pretty strong in this pool, especially with the faithmender so I prioritized having one giant lifelinked attacker (to sacrifice to Bolas!) and plenty of removal.

10 Plains
6 Swamp
1 Cathedral of War

1 Angelic Benediction
1 Crippling Blight
2 Divine Verdict
1 Essence Drain

Notable sideboard card: Cower in Fear (the double black mana cost is too hard to maindeck it)

right off the bat i saw potential in exalted life gain, i mean come on! mark of the vampire, 3 ajani's sunstrikers, ajani himself, and rhox faithmender. exalted works great with all the lifelink and we got some great exalted pulls, so i cant complain there. this was such an easy choice

I like white blue in this sealed deck. Everyone agrees on white here, but alot of people miss how well water courser combos with exalted-- they can be massive quickly-- and there's three of them in the deck.  Add the removal of two essence scatters and the flexibility of sleep and fog bank, and I think that's the way to go.
I'll post a W/U build to be different. I decided against watercoarser because if I have one of my three Ajani's Sunstrikers out that's what I'm attacking with. Also Watercoarsers mean I need more islands, making it more unlikely I'm able to cast Sunstriker on turn two.

This is the 40 I came up with.  Probably stretching too thin going W/G/b, but I wanted a way to just kill a thing, and the W/G pool doesn't have that.

The white is just so deep, and rewarding for going deep with Ajani and his trio of Sunstrikers, that I don't see how you don't play it.  Green plays some nice defense and Slime maindeck gives you outs to all sorts of troublesome things (Sands/Mark/Rings/O-Ring).  But W/G can't just kill a thing.  You don't have O-Ring or Prey Upon, so I outsourced a Public Execution.  You want to have something that beats a Krenko.  Don't love my mana, but think it will do.
I wont write my list here. The real decision is what color will you choose to pair with W, I would prefer G as the white lacks body (but has 2 Divine Verdict and 1 Pacifism). U may also be prefered for the Divinations and Watercoursers , even B is an option for splashing for Essence Scatter, Knight of Infamy,Tormented Soul

My only point is this deck will have a low mana curve so putting Jayemdae Tome would be wise to avoid a loss for flood.

U/W was too good..This was in fact a pretty nice pool. A few different ways to go. Here I like fat sunstrikers powered by noneother than ajani and rhox for some lifegain while maintaining defense until stormtide drops. I like maindecking negate with a bomb like levi and do my best to hold it til she drops.

Almost mono-white. Surprisingly large amount of removal.

No brainer. BW exalted seems to be the best archetype in the format.

I notice that my build is virtually identical to FalconUK's, except that

Falcon: Tormented Soul, Silvercoat Lion, Guardian Lions
Me: Crippling Blight, Angelic Benediction x2

Not saying which is correct. I justified the noninclusion of the tormented soul by reference to the sunstrikers "greater need" for Plains-Plains, and the benediction / blight doing roughly the same thing. Guardian Lions seems strong in this build but again the benedictions seems to cover similar territory, that is swinging with a big exalted creature.

Ajani just sick in this deck.

Sometimes, it's not even a challenge. The only question here is which color you go with for splashing. Red was out, and I chose to go with green. I could sub into black for more removal, or blue for Fog Bank, Essence Scatter, and the Leviathan.

A dream play for this deck is turn 2 Sunstriker, turn 3 Ajani (+1), and turn 4 Faithmender, using Ajani for double strike/flying. Gaining 12 life and doing 6 damage with a single dude seems pretty spiffy.

Splashing Black is probably a better option than mono white, but the ability to pull off mono colored (and without much chafe, is pretty exceptional).  You will never get mana screwed.

I agree with you W/U is the best combination in this pool... just imagine a watercourser with ajani -.- and a rhox on floor omfg
I actually went for W/U since the black pool had no removal. Basically it's aggro/control I did not main the counters though.

W/U to me seemed to be the best way to go.  B has some good cards but I felt lacked too many creatures. If you can get the Stormtide Leviathan out, all the exalted from W should make for an easy kill.  While most W/U included Divine Verdict, I went with Angelic Benediction instead since it would basically leave creatures out of action, anyway, when I attacked and I figure the Essence Scatters and Rain of Blades would help to take care of creature elmination anyway. Besides, with the the exalted I would be more apt to have untapped creatures for defense.

Tried white/black, but there weren't enough creatures, but white/blue gave a good mix of creatures and spells.

Those who fear the darkness have never seen what the light can do.

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights. But you yourself are nothing so divine. Just next in line.

Or enchantments, for that matter. "Well, you see, Jimmy cast this spell to flood the mountain, but then the gorgon just looked at the water really hard and it went away."
I wanted to go against the grain and ignore the abundant white cards, so I gave black/blue a shot. Enough spells to control and counter with a few creatures to poke.

This grouping definately pushes you in a certain direction.  I loved Green's creatures, but there just was only about 7 playable green cards total, three of which were double G cc, so I eliminated Green.  Red just looked bad all the way around, no star creatures, no burn, blech, No Red for me.  Black has some kill in it, and some nice potential creatures in it.  Blue, has 4 good cheap counters, two creatures that cycle up spells, nothing fancy, but solid control cards. White is where the action is.  White is so obviously the main color it isn't even worth mentioning beyond that.

I chose to go the W/u route mostly because there is a decided lack of winning cards in this group.  There is alot of support type cards, but I just felt it lacked more than one finisher.  And decks that rely on 1 card in draft or sealed is tough because you don't always draw it.  I chose blue over black because blue had more ways to search/stall until I find that 1 card.

I will say even though I am seeking to stall/control a bit, I chose not to use any of the defenders because I have so many non-creature spells that I wanted to be sure any I draw could be made into a threat if I pair it with Ajani.

I always seem to suffer from having Negate when I want Essence Scatter or vic-versa when playing blue in this set, but you always end up needing both when building with U in M13 sealed/draft.

Ajani is the key to the deck, if you get him at the right time, you should win, if you can't draw or protect for him, you will lose.  You might find a game or two you win a different way, but given what else could be out there, it probably isn't going to be often.
No brainer. BW exalted seems to be the best archetype in the format.

Ajani just sick in this deck.

I like your deck better if going the exhaulted route, however I wonder if you should include the 3rd Guardians of Akrasa over the Mark of the Vampire.  Seems like you have enough life-gain in the deck but could benefit more from another creature to protect Ajani/pump/survive sweepers.  But I like yours and FalconUK's decks.

I ended up W/U/b.  After reading the other posts here I wonder if I should have kept the sunstriker's in.  I took them out b/c they are double weight 2/2s so it'll be hard to get them out on turn two even if I just went W/U without the black splash.  My selections were based on tempo mostly, with the leviathan to go over the top.

From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature.

MaRo: One of the classic R&D stories happened during a Scars of Mirrodin draft. Erik Lauer was sitting to my right (meaning that he passed to me in the first and third packs). At the end of the draft, Erik was upset because I was in his colors (black-green). He said, "Didn't you see the signals? I went into black-green in pack one." I replied, "Didn't you see my signals? I started drafting infect six drafts ago."

MaRo: I redesigned him while the effect was on the stack.

I'm not a fan of the w/b exalted but this deck practically builds itself.
