Types of counters

Do you have access to a list of all couter types? There are so many of them. So typical and mentioned in rules such as +1/+1, -1/-1, loyalty or poison and some rare and weird such as eyeball counters.
Say I have an imaginary card that reads:
"Choose a type of counter. Put one counter of that type on every permanent."
Rules Advisor
The different types are not listed in the CR, but if they were, I think that that would be fine. It would work the same way Adaptive Automaton works. There are just as many creature types as counter types.
I think this is the complete list of counters used in non-Un- Magic cards:
-0/-1, -0/-2, -1/-0, -1/-1, -2/-2, +0/+1, +0/+2, +1/+0, +1/+1, +1/+2, +2/+2, age, aim, arrow, arrowhead, awakening, blaze, blood, bounty, bribery, carrion, charge, corpse, credit, cube, currency, death, delay, depletion, despair, devotion, divinity, doom, dream, echo, elixir, energy, eon, eyeball, fade, fate, feather, flame, flood, fungus, fuse, glyph, gold, growth, hatchling, healing, hoofprint, hourglass, hunger, ice, infection, intervention, javelin, ki, level, lore, loyalty, luck, magnet, mannequin, matrix, mine, mining, mire, music, net, omen, ore, page, pain, paralyzation, petal, petrification, phylactery, pin, plague, polyp, pressure, pupa, quest, rust, scream, scroll, shell, shield, shred, sleep, sleight, slime, soot, spore, storage, strife, study, theft, tide, time, tower, training, trap, treasure, velocity, verse, vitality, wage, winch, wind, wish

I got this list by looking for instances of "counter on" or "counters on" and taking the preceding word (and throwing out things like "a" or "each").

If that card were to exist, it would require a list like the above in the CompRules. However, that imaginary card is a really bad idea, so it'll hopefully never be printed.
My team keeps a list, but it looks like we haven't updated in a few months. Here's what i have through Dark Ascension:

Some issues I see with that list (some of them from the missing M13 update):

Also, there are some counters in use on non-traditional cards (e.g. Bant, but I guess those are outside the scope of the list.

I did notice that my search failed to find poison (that uses a different template) and the +2/+0 counters from Frankenstein's Monster.
Thanks a lot for that list.
The problem with the specific card idea you posted is that most counter types either only work with creatures, or are used to mark the effect of a specific card and are meaningless otherwise.

Aside from the +2/+0 counter from Frankenstein's Monster that you mentioned, there is also the -2/-1 counters from Contagion.

Also here are the cards from WotC_dlaugel's post that have been autocarded if other people wanted to look them up without having to copy and paste.

Ah, thank you. Contagion says "counters among", so I didn't catch it. The other cards that uses that only use +1/+1 or -1/-1 counters.
What I want to know is how "CG" is an abreviation for Urza's Destiny.

Probably from the development code name?
Urza's Destiny Chimichanga
Urza's Legacy Guacamole
Urza's Saga Armadillo

Is there a map of set names posted somewhere? Also, how do those three make a triplet?
Is there a map of set names posted somewhere?

Wikipedia includes set codenames in its list of magic expansions
Also, how do those three make a triplet?

You can read about the reasons for the code names here. Those three were not thought up simultaneously, as is done for blocks nowadays.

I listed the map of names to codes that I have.

You forgot Eon counters~
And don't forget the newly almost-introduced filibuster counter.
