Against the Matriarchs
by Erik Scott de Bie

Born into an existence little better than slavery, most male drow in Menzoberranzan are seen by the dominant females as mere resources to be used and discarded. This article details four character themes, each a path by which a male drow might seek to establish himself in a world that is hostile to his very existence.

Talk about this article here.

astralArchivist.com - 4e D&D house rules, homebrew, and story hours - now featuring ENWorld's Zeitgeist adventure path! Will Thibault is a winged, feathered serpent rarely found anywhere except in warm, jungle-like regions or flying through the ether. Due to his intelligence and powers he is regarded with awe by the inhabitants of his homelands and is considered to be divine.
This is good stuff mama ! Lots of art too !! My favorite is Melee-Magthere Champion !!!

Erik I am really happy to finally see them going live,  i've toyed with them a few months ago during Playtests and really really loved your work. Now that they're coming out and i can comment, i just want to give you a brofist

Sorcere Adept's level 10 feature allows a free casting of any level 10 or lower Arcana Ritual.

Enchant Magic Item is an Arcana Ritual...
Yeah, that level 10 feature effectively reads: "You gain a free magic item of your level once per day, every day, for the rest of your career."
"There's an old saying that all it takes for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing. I've always had a problem with that. If you do nothing to oppose evil, then how are you 'good'? To turn aside and allow evil to flourish is to collaborate with it. You ask for mercy. You claim you have done nothing. That 'nothing' is why you deserve no mercy." - Lorian Karthfaerr, drow paladin of Avandra Robin Laws says I'm a Storyteller:

You're more inclined toward the role playing side of the equation and less interested in numbers or experience points. You're quick to compromise if you can help move the story forward, and get bored when the game slows down for a long planning session. Level 10 Sorcer's Adept feature apart this article was awesome, loved the Bregan D'Aerthe and Elderboy themes, since their features are absolutely perfect for the concept (that +2 to defenses against attacks from allies was pure genius!).

Kudos for a great job and more article like these, please.

Human Wizard: "Hey, good job sidestepping that fireball. Sorry about that. I honestly hadn't realised you were so close..." [Nervous giggle]
Drow Rogue: [Nonchalant shrug] "No problem. My sisters used to use me as target practice when I was a kid. All seventeen of them."
...
Human Wizard: "So... uh... I'm still gonna have to check my sleeping bag for scorpions tonight, aren't I?"
Drow Rogue: [Malevolent grin] "Guess how many sisters I have now."
