Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress....
NO - too big
...,... and Rock'n Roll - but Minis are fun too...
Are there plans for Big bombers in the future, it would be nice as this game has a lot of potential. If cost is a factor on bigger models, they could do the bombers in a put together pack like WizKids did for the pirate series. I would buy them either way. I really love this game.
P38 Lightning would be my choice.

Beaufighter would be cool as well.
I am all for big size figures. Bring it on!!!! Bombers, Blimps, Jets, Flack fire and any AA units, Even exteme weather formations.
It is a fighter game. Bombers serve no purpose , other than targets. LOL.Tongue Out There are a lot of twin engine fighters left to choose from. I would just like to get the next set already.
Yes, please anything now. Bombers will bring senarios into the game better. Just move around and blow something up can done anytime.
Just saw the box art for Bandits High Starter on the Amazon Website...There's a P-38 (YES!!!!!!) chasing a Tony. On the side it appears that the 6 A/C in the starter are P-38, P-39, A6M3 Hamp (clipped wing Zero), F6F Hellcat, Tony and Oscar.  Way cool   I imagine that we will also see a Russian P-39 (AAMOF I'd lay good money on it) and both incarnations of the Hellcat (Navy and Marine).  I'm very interested in the stats on the Lightning...can't tell by the pic but I would guess with those period planes its gonna be a G model...the one without the anti-compressibility flaps... I for one would be very happy if they ignored that little problem lol
Awesome !!! Sounds like a great collection. Can hardly wait. Problem here is getting time to play.

Dive flaps weren't installed until the very late Model Js, so there's a good bet we get a model that lacks dive flaps.  On the other hand, we're basically dealing with a compressibility issue that the Set I design represented with a lower dive score.

We already use a B-17 plane in our play.  It is a little big but do-able.  We also most use 2-3 maps.  We have even used 2 at once, with escorts.  Fun game.  We made a seperate field of fire and numbers for the various guns.  Credit goes to Snippersly for 90% of the work.  We have a told now of 4 B-17's and 4-5 110's.   We use 3-4 tables for the game.
