probably something like
-2 x Divine Favour
-2 x Plains
-1 x Forest
-1 x Runeclaw Bear
-1 x Auramancer
+1 x Jace, Memory Adept
+1 x Aven Fleetwing
+1 x Frost Breath
+4 x Island

I started of in an unusual U/G fatties path, added some early game, the got rewarded with a planeswalker!!!!

If only that other guy hadn't taken a Frost Titan first pick the deck would be perfect:

18 lands:
9 forest
9 island

Notable creatures:
1 Garruk's Horde
1 Sphinx of Uthuun
2 Lanowar Elves

Notable spells:
3 Rampant Growth
1 Quicksilver Amulet
1 Manalith
1 Jace!!!!

Garruks horde makes it easier to cast more creatures, and in its own right it is insanely big. Sphinx gives us more gas and a really big flier. Hmmm... I'm starting to notice a pattern. Jace... nuff said. I even have one or two ways to fish (ponder) and loads of fuel for getting them out early. All in all, I like it. Thoughts? (and why did some of you take jace when you were solidly not in blue?)

I drafted Green/Black because of the flyers and a safe mana base (with Growth). In addition, most of my spells are nearly playset.

Deck:

Lands (16)
9 Forest
7 Swamp

Creatures (12)
1 Garruk's Horde
1 Reassembling Skeleton
1 Gladecover Scout
1 Duskhunter Bat
3 Tormented Soul
3 Garruk's Companion
Lurking Crocodile
1 Runeclaw Bear

Spells (14)
3 Distress
Taste of Blood
Lure
Brink of Disaster
Rampant Growth
Diabolic Tutor

I saw the overrun and was firmly planted in green from the first pack i opened. bottom line, ovverrun wins games. i was swaying between UG and WG throught he first round. by the beginning of round two i was in WG, and buy was i happy i chose those colors when a SUN TITAN popped out in round three! WG is the way to go this draft.
Grow old or die trying.

I've only once played in a draft. So this si me trying to learn. I was trying to draft a U/G deck. I took the Sun Titan to keep it from coming back against me and A couple other off color picks (and the Lands) were because none of my colors were left. I took one U/W dual thinking I might splash white but nothing really came of that.  Same reason I also picked up the Manalith's.

Started with an eye towards green, but I knew I wasn't sending a strong signal by passing the Overrun or Horde. I started going blue with the Sphinx and decided to go white as a secondary when the best green creatures I was seeing were Vastwood Gorgers. Getting a Sun Titan in pack 3 was great, but being passed Jace was even better.

Against aggressive bloodthirst decks, I sub in the Unsummons. The deck can either win by flying over the top or by finding Sun Titan or Jace. Sun Titan + Spirit Mantle is particularly nasty, and the maindeck Stave Offs mean that I can protect the Sun Titan against spot removal if I suspect it's around.

I've never participated in a live draft before and this was my 1st simulated so I was suprised by my luck.  1st card I chose was Garruk's Horde; I chose that instead of Overrun because if it's abilities.  A big beast with trample and "Play with the top card of your library revealed, You may cast the top card of your library if it's a creature card."  From here on, my strategy was to draft cards that would work well with this ability.  Immediately, Blue-Green caught my eye and I started picking a few white near the end of Pack 1.  This turned out to be a fantastic choice as Pack 3 rolled out a Sun Titan and a Jace Planeswalker to back up my Blue.  Anyway, here are some neat strategies I caim upon:  Reclaim and Ponder work extrememly well with Garruk's Horde.  Greater Basilisk then Lure to kill targeted creature.  Spirit Mantle with Sun Titan makes him an unblockable 7/7.  Quicksilver Amulet and Llanowar Elves cast big creatures quickly.  Lastly, Manalith to cast a couple odd reds and to support your overall mana.  IMO, a pretty solid WGU deck.

I kinda wanna know that the idiot to my right picked over a P3P1 Jace 3.0...

G/U bombs, thinking about splashing white.

Not 100% certain if I should go 3 plains and 5 islands or 2 plains and 6 islands.  I was already thinking about splashing white when I picked up p2p1 o-ring, sun titan just made me like it even more.

The curve is dandy, the color split should be playable, most cards are single color weight so the color split should be playable and I have a manalith for color fixing.  I like it and I'd be happy to play it.  Shame I didn't get my lure to fit to go along with my basilisk, but that's life and it just wouldn't happen often enough, although lure on any bomb is cool.  But it's also double color weight and would be dead in my hand until I got a bomb out so...out it goes.

From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature.

MaRo: One of the classic R&D stories happened during a Scars of Mirrodin draft. Erik Lauer was sitting to my right (meaning that he passed to me in the first and third packs). At the end of the draft, Erik was upset because I was in his colors (black-green). He said, "Didn't you see the signals? I went into black-green in pack one." I replied, "Didn't you see my signals? I started drafting infect six drafts ago."

MaRo: I redesigned him while the effect was on the stack.

Deck would look like:

Llanowar Elves
Llanowar Elves
Phantasmal Bear
Phantasmal Bear
Garruk's Companion
Garruk's Companion
Runeclaw Bear
Alluring Siren
Brindle Boar
Skywinder Drake
Lurking Crocodile
Greater Basilisk
Chasm Drake
Sphinx of Uthuun
[14 creatures]

Unsummon
Rampant Growth
Ice Cage
Turn to Frog
Arachnus Web
Arachnus Web
Overrun
Lure
[8 other spells]

Jace, Memory Adept
[1 Planeswalker]

Plan: curve out and go nuts. Aggressive bottom end, nuts top end, and enough tempo to do the job. Thoughts?

Other playables would be Runeclaw Bear, Unsummon, Rampant Growth. Hunter's Insight is pushing it, rest are filler (and Sun Titan).
