You Build the Character #30 - The Jedi High Council

You Build the Character returns!

After a long absence, it's back. So dust off your rulebooks and get ready for another round of YBtC.

This month, we're going right to the top. The head honchos. The executive board of the Force. The Jedi High Council. I want you to build a member of the Jedi Council. One we see in the movies.

You can even enter multiple times, provided you follow the rules below. 

You have until 11.59pm (PDT) on Thursday 7 June to post your RPG stats, and any notes you want to post explaining your decisions. Once submissions have closed, all forum members will have until 11.59pm (PDT) on Thursday 21 June to vote for their favourite. Whichever build receives the most votes will win.

The prize for winning is having your stats enshrined in the YBtC Hall of Fame, as well as the bragging rights.

The following rules apply to all submissions:

  1. All builds must be created according to RAW, with no house rules (no single Athletics skill, no bonus feats for bloodlines etc).

  2. You may use "unlimited" point buy for ability scores, provided each score is between 3 and 18 at first level (before racial and age adjustments).

  3. You are free to use material from all official Saga Edition books, up to and including The Unknown Regions.

  4. You may enter more than once. An entry can consist of up to three characters. Each individual forum post containing stat blocks counts as an entry unless otherwise specified.

  5. You may not enter more than one set of stats for the same character.

  6. You may not enter a character who has already been the subject of their own competition.

  7. When creating stat blocks, use the species traits from official WotC sources. If a species never received official stats, use the ones from Saga-Edition.com. If there are no stats on Saga-Edition.com, you may create your own, but make sure to include them with your stat block.

  8. You may change your stats at any point up until submissions close, at which point any edited stats will be disqualified.

Maks Leem, a female Force-sensitive Gran was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, achieving the rank of Jedi Master before the start of the Separatist Crisis. Appointed as an instructor at the Coruscant Jedi Temple, Master Leem trained two Padawans to the rank of Jedi Knight before the civil unrest engulfed the galaxy. An expert in hyperspace navigation, Master Leem instructed classes at the Temple, as well as working in the Temple's refectory. The Gran Master, while not a fan of lightsaber combat, had crafted for herself a blue-bladed lightsaber. Master Maks Leem displayed the community-oriented mind of her people, a socially-minded woman who enjoyed her life as a Jedi. Described by her students and peers as motherly and calm, Master Leem was not happy when the Jedi were forced into the militant role they served in the Clone Wars.

This Gran Jedi Master was a member of the Jedi High Council in 20 BBY. A year later, the Gran would no longer be serving on the Council. It has been speculated that this is Maks Leem, as this character is never seen again, and Leem is killed by Ventress shortly after this Gran's only appearance.

My favorite Jedi Master ever: Master Plo Koon!

I built him based a lot on his wookieepedia entry as well as what I have observed in The Clone Wars.  It is stated that he was a master swordsman, martial artist, and the third best pilot in the Order behind Saesee Tiin and Anakin.  I see his use of Electric Judgement (Force Lighting) to be a one off, for it is said that he meditated on his experience afterward and deemed it very powerful (atoning for the DSP he gained).  I see him as very contemplative so I gave him lots of Sense oriented abilities.  He is also a member of the Baran Do sages thus I gave him Expanded Horizon to fit with his Sense oriented theme.  It is also stated that he is a master of telekinesis so I gave him Telekinetic Savant.  Knowledge (life sciences) obviously reflects his extensive knowledge of life sciences.  He has Skill Focus (pilot) and Vehicular Combat which would make him a decent pilot and most likely more pilot focused than your standard Jedi.  Since he is supposed to be a master of Form V I gave him both Shien and Djem So, since I see any character that actually has those talents as a master of them.  I also equate mastery with a weapon, in Master Plo's case the lightsaber, with the Weapon Focus feat/talent, since it allows you a greater chance of scoring a hit over others who do not have the feat/talent, more so than additional damage.  I was very tempted to give him a yellow lightsaber since that is my favorite and I think it suits him better, but alas it is not canon so I will stick with the blue.

Expanded Horizon – Whenever Master Koon uses the Search your Feelings application of Use the Force he may sense the consequences of his actions up to 1 hour. He may spend a Force point to extend it to 8 hours or a destiny point to extend it to 24 hours.
Heightened Awareness – Master Koon can spend a Force point to add his Charisma modifier to his Perception checks.
Keen Force sense – may reroll Use the Force checks made to Search your Feelings or Sense Force
Serenity – As a full-round action Master Koon may enter into a meditative trance. Upon emerging from the trance as a swift action his next attack roll or Use the Force check is considered to be a natural 20.
Telekinetic Savant – Once per encounter as a swift action Master Koon may return one Force power with the [telekinetic] descriptor to his suite without spending a Force point.
Vehicular Combat – Once per round when Master Koon is hit in a vehicle he is piloting he may make a Pilot check as a reaction to avoid taking damage to the vehicle.

Since Yaddle is seemingly one of the older, more senior members, I went with level 16 for her build. Everything else was based on what we know of her. I wanted to try a different take on Coleman Trebor than I think many would take. I kept with my general rule that a Council Member should be about level 15 or 16. From there, I threw in what we knew about him, such as his status as a skilled orator and diplomat. Then I had the fun thought that, had he been controlled by a player, maybe he was combat oriented just enough where he thought he might have been able to take Dooku (or at least engage him until more help arrived). Unfortunately, the player over-estimates his chances, and having already taken a few straight bolts from the battle ends up getting quickly overwhelmed by a level 15 Jango Fett. He falls over the edge, and unfotunately he used his surge to get onto the platform...

Kit Fisto, Jedi Guardian




A master practitioner of Shii-Cho (Disarming Slash, Sarlacc Sweep, Melee Defense, Improved Disarm, Disarm and Engage), Kit Fisto was considered to be one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi Order. His versatility with Shii-Cho was such that he could ably apply it towards the usage of dual-blades, or even lightwhips (Dual Weapon Mastery). He also possessed an acute olfactory sense, allowing him to read the emotions of other sentients. (Force Perception) Fisto was also skilled in the use of Force speed (Surge). Fisto was also an extremely skilled swimmer and honed his Jedi abilities to take advantage of his amphibious origins, making him a lethal foe underwater as well as on land. Also, he was extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat (Martial Arts 1), defeating Riff Tamson in an underwater brawl, despite Tamson's size.

Shaak Ti, Jedi Guardian




Regarded as a Master of legendary power and strength in the Force, Shaak Ti was a humble woman whose preference for negotiations did not detract from her prowess with a lightsaber. A natural fighter, Ti preferred to focus her energies into the studies of a Jedi Consular, focusing in the fields of diplomacy and healing. (Vital Transfer) One of Ti's greatest gifts was her ability to commune with nature more deeply then most Jedi of the era. Able to control fauna and direct them with her will, (Beast Trick) she coupled this with the Consitor Sato technique (Plant Surge, Improved Plant Surge), which enabled her to alter the environment. (Force Whirlwind)

Aside from her mastery of the Force, Shaak Ti was well versed in several forms of lightsaber combat. Considered one of the finest swordswomen of the era, her colleagues regarded her as one of the most cunning warriors of the day. A practitioner of both the Makashi (Riposte) and Ataru (Surge, Hawk-Bat Swoop, Saber Swarm) forms, Ti was described as being incredibly gracefully, a trait that was amplified by her exotic pigmentation and coloring. While Ti preferred these two forms, she was well trained in all of the standard forms, utilizing the Niman/Jar'Kai techniques during the Great Jedi Purge and wielding dual blades (Dual Weapon Mastery). Infusing her weapon with the Force, she would throw her enemy off their feet by plunging her sabers into the ground and sending Force tremors through the soil. (Improved Force Slam)

Ki-Adi Mundi (Jedi General)




Ki-Adi-Mundi was an extremely wise and stoic Jedi who was well known for his strong judgment, his practical thinking, and his courage. His binary brain made him extremely logical (Binary Mind, Brilliant Defense) and insightful and he was a skilled tactician and diplomat. (Noble, Persuasion, Knowledge-Tactics) Mundi believed the greatest honor was to sacrifice oneself for others and for a greater cause, and this was reflected in his combat style, which protected allies (Guardian Strike). As a Jedi General during the Clone Wars, Mundi believed that as a leader, he should not only give orders his forces but personally lead them into battle. (Lead by Example) Mundi demonstrated a strong ability to rally his troops and encourage their trust in the Force in the face of overwhelming odds, such as during the battles at Aargonar and Hypori. (Born Leader, Distant Command, Rally)

A practitioner of the Ataru form of lightsaber combat, Mundi was an extremely skilled fighter with the Jedi weapon (hawk-bat swoop). Mundi was also skilled in the use of several Force powers. During his duel with Grievous, Mundi displayed the ability to produce powerful telekinetic blasts capable of creating a crater in the ground (Force Blast, Devastating Power). The Cerean could also leap incredible heights (Surge), such as when he launched himself onto a moving gunship during his battle with Ventress. He was also able to use Force healing to some degree, as proven when he healed a broken collar bone after the skiff he was riding on crashed during his mission to find Sharad Hett on Tatooine.(Vital Transfer, Advanced Vital Transfer) Beyond his abilities with the Force, Mundi was a competent pilot.

Agen Kolar, Jedi Duelist




Agen Kolar was a Zabrak male Jedi Master who was known for his skill with a lightsaber and his willingness to use it. Agen Kolar favored the use of Force Push (Force Thrust, Force Slam, Improved Force Thrust) in combat, and was known to apply it suddenly against his opponents. However, he was primarily known as a master lightsaber duelist (Powerful Charge, Power Attack, Block, Deflect, Improved Battle Strike, Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Double Attack). Mace Windu himself, considered one of the greatest duelists in the Order's history, found Kolar's abilities considerable. The Jedi Council felt that Windu and Kolar alone would provide a significant counter to Darth Sidious were the Sith Lord to reveal himself.

Kolar did not enjoy talents in lightsaber combat alone, and he was also proficient in unarmed combat (Martial Arts I), as when he engaged an angry mob of cantina patrons on Nar Shaddaa without his lightsaber and without difficulty. Kolar was thus able to resolve the problem martially, yet without killing or maiming his opponents (Brink of death). Kolar integrated physical combat into his lightsaber battles, being especially fond of delivering high kicks to his foes, though he also favored that attack in fully unarmed combat as well (Dual Weapon Mastery I). In addition to his fighting techniques, Kolar was considered to be a master swordsmith (Masterwork Lightsaber).

Even Piell, Jedi Guardian




A native of the war-torn planet Lannik, he was taken from poverty and trained as a Jedi Knight at a young age, proving to be a fierce warrior and talented Force-user (Relentless Attack, Triple Attack, Savage Attack, Power Attack, Weapon Specialization x2, Greater Weapon Focus). He was also a scholar on the Council of First Knowledge. (Knowledge: Galactic Lore)

Despite being diminutive in stature, Even Piell was larger than life. Gruff, outspoken, and battle-hardened, he was a great warrior who was noted for his willingness to charge into battle, as well as for his fearlessness, courage, and tenacity. He became known as one of the Jedi High Council's senior and strongest members.

Piell was a Jedi Guardian, meaning that he focused more lightsaber combat and also on using the Force in combat than for other means. (Improved Battle Strike) He was also a skilled manipulator of the Force; he was able to use it to telekinetically push battle droids away (Move Object) aboard his cruiser and to propel himself in the air (Surge). His mastery of the Force was well complemented by his agility in combat; he was quite nimble given his size, and he used his nimbleness in conjunction with his use of a lightsaber. (Acrobatic Strike, Acrobatic Recovery) Piell was also rather strong physically and was a skilled pilot.

Eeth Koth, Jedi Guardian




Trained as a Jedi Guardian, Koth was a talented swordsman and tactician, wielding a lightsaber with a green crystal to produce its emerald blade. Capable of wielding the Force proficiently, Master Koth's greatest strengths lay in his natural ability to hone his mind into a disciplined weapon (Focused Warrior). He was an extremely skilled duelist, capable of holding off the ferocious style of infamous Jedi-killer General Grievous, despite being forced on the defensive and having to wield his lightsaber one-handed due to an injury to his forearm. At the conclusion of their duel, Koth demonstrated a proficiency with unleashing powerful telekinetic blasts, (Force Slam, Force Blast, Devastating Power) which he used to temporarily subdue the Confederate General.

Common to his species was an innate ability to endure great physical pain, (Indomitable, Resilience, Tough as Nails, Improved Damage Threshold, Improved Defenses, Recovering Surge, Shake it Off, Toughness) a trait developed as a way to survive the harsh wilds of Iridonia. Depa Billaba, Jedi Duelist




Depa Billaba was a female Chalactan Jedi Master serving the Jedi Order during the final years of the Republic Classic era. Trained by Master of the Order Mace Windu and appointed to the Jedi High Council, Billaba was considered one of the most enlightened Jedi of her time and had earned her seat on the High Council. Having mastered the difficult Vaapad lightsaber form created by Mace Windu, she became one of its few practitioners and one of only three masters of the form (Triple Crit, Tempered Aggression, Vornskr’s Ferocity). Mace Windu himself spoke that Depa's bladework surpassed his own and nearly suffered defeat from his former padawan on Haruun Kal after she succumbed to the darkside. (I gave her a darkside score to reflect her inner struggle.)

As a Knight, Billaba studied as a Consular, preferring to solve problems with words rather than her lightsaber (Adept Negotiator, Force Persuasion, Mind Trick). Interested in the teachings of the Chalactan Adepts of her heritage (Scholarly Knowledge, Quiet the Mind), she studied with them and learned techniques that allowed her to attune her mind to the minds and personalities of her peers. (Knowledge (social sciences))

Drawing upon both her studies with the Chalactan Adepts and the Jedi Order, Master Depa Billaba was known for being contemplative and an excellent problem solver. Her unique mental conditioning gave her virtual immunity to torture (Indomitable Personality, Unwavering Resolve), as well as the heightened ability to sense the thoughts and feelings of others (Force Perception), even her fellow Jedi Masters. Soft-spoken, her presence on the High Council was reflective of her reputation for being one of the most enlightened Jedi of the era.

Oppo Rancisis, Jedi Battlemaster and Seer




Oppo Rancisis was talented in a number of Force powers unconventional among the Jedi, as well as in lightsaber combat and unarmed combat. Although he rarely used his lightsaber, preferring to orchestrate attacks from inside a headquarters or to use the Force against opponents, Rancisis fashioned the traditional weapon of the Jedi during his training, a simple green blade. Rancisis' lightsaber abilities were augmented by his skills in hand-to-hand combat (Martial Arts 1); he used any part of his body that he could to attack any enemies, including his four hands and his tail. (Dual Weapon Mastery 1, Pin, Crush, Trip). However, he also had great respect for life. (Brink of Death, Force Stun, Force Disarm). Rancisis also specilialized in the unconventional power of Malacia (Improved Malacia, Force Power Mastery). The power was used predominantly as a defense mechanism; it caused no permanent effects, but turned a victim's equilibrium against him or herself, inducing incapacitating nausea and dizziness for several minutes—enough time for those who were being attacked to escape.

Rancisis was a military mastermind, had extensive knowledge of law, diplomacy, and the Jedi Code. (Adversary Lore, Insight of the Force) Rancisis was one of the few Jedi of his time to master the ancient Jedi art of Battle Meditation. (Improved Battle Meditation, Defensive Circle, Force Revive, Jedi Battle Commander) He had the ability to envision the desired outcome of any current battle, and, if properly used, this vision could be made to come through, via subtly altering the odds against the user's enemies, sapping their morale and boosting his or her allies' courage. Plo Koon, Jedi Ace and Duelist




Plo Koon was a Kel Dor male from the planet Dorin who became a Jedi Master and a lifetime member of the Jedi High Council. Born into a family strong in the Force, (Force Boon) Koon's own Force-sensitivity was discovered early and he was turned over to the Jedi Order early on in his infancy for training.

Remaining close with his former master, Koon studied as a Jedi Guardian independently, taking on missions that often required that he demonstrate his skill with a lightsaber, rather than diplomacy. Additionally, Koon would return to his homeworld at some point in his career, studying the ways of the Baran Do and earning a place in their order. (Precognitive Meditation, Clear Mind) He was a master of a number of their techniques, such as ayna-seff, which makes one undetectable to electronic scans. (Force Cloak)

Like many of his kind, Koon had a strong sense of justice. His species tended to see issues in black and white, and favored what was termed "rough justice," a method of solving disputes that, to non-Kel Dor, seemed overly retributive and too close to vigilantism. (Justice Seeker)

Koon was a master of telekinesis, (Telekinetic Savant, Multitarget Power, Move Object, Force Slam, Improved Force Slam) and could move objects without having to face them (Distant Power). He also used a forbidden Force technique called Electric Judgment (Force Lightning, Many Shades of the Force). To many Jedi, this seemed to be too close to the Force lightning employed by the Sith.

Plo Koon possessed an extensive knowledge of the physical sciences. In particular, he used his expert knowledge of physics along with the Force to alter the environment—the resourceful Jedi could create small whirlwinds as well as a dense fog over a limited area, freeze tiny rivers and lakes, and raise or lower the temperature of his surroundings enough to incapacitate an opponent. (Cryokineses, Force Whirlwind, Improved Cryokinesis, Force Haze)

Possessing great strength, Koon was a master of hand-to-hand combat (MA1). He was also a master of the fifth form of lightsaber combat, Djem So/Shien. (Fluid Riposte, Shien Deflection)  He was a skilled pilot and his piloting skills were as well known as his abilities with a lightsaber. (Force Pilot, Vehicular Combat) Some people considered him to be the third best pilot in the Jedi order after Anakin Skywalker and Saesee Tiin.

Saesee Tiin, Jedi Ace




Having trained as a Jedi Guardian, Saesee Tiin possessed exceptional prowess with a lightsaber, wielding many over his long career. Having used a violet, cobalt, and then an emerald lightsaber crystal in his weapon's hilt, the Master was capable of fending off most opponents with his hard strikes and counterstrikes. (Power Attack, deflecting slash, fluid riposte)

Raised within the Jedi Temple, Tiin found it embarrassing when his natural telepathic abilities were ridiculed by his peers. While they believed these powers gave him an unfair advantage at the academy, Tiin believed it was more of a hindrance as he had yet to learn to control his abilities. Tiin would admit however, that his abilities gave him an edge during lightsaber combat training as his opponents unwittingly revealed their strategy through their thoughts. (Force Intuition, Instinctive Defense)

Aside from combat, Tiin was most comfortable as a pilot, serving the Jedi Starfighter Corps as an Ace Pilot. Tiin was said to be rivalled only by Jedi Anakin Skywalker in his natural piloting skills. (Force Pilot, Force Reflexes, Starship Tactics, Vehicular Combat, Vehicle Focus (starfighter), Hold Together) Enhanced by his natural telepathic abilities, Tiin was able to instinctively astrogate his starfighters through hyperspace without a navigation computer. As Tiin learned to hone in on particular minds, he came to the attention of the Wol Cabasshite Jedi Councilor, Master Omo Bouri. After graduating from the academy, Tiin accepted Bouri's offer of apprenticeship and became a Padawan. Because Bouri's brain was so evolved, Tiin found himself faced with something completely new: a brain he couldn't understand. Intrigued, he focused all his time coming to understand his master and to use the Force to expand his telepathy to extraordinary heights. (Improved Telepathy, Perfect Telepathy, Telepathic Link)

Adi Gallia, Jedi Ace and Duelist




A highly intuitive woman of Corellian heritage, Master Adi Gallia was known for being politically savvy and very well known within the political spheres of the Core Worlds' representatives. Her understanding of the Republic's complexities was natural, and she developed an extensive list of contacts. (Skill Focus: Knowledge [bureaucracy])

During her lightsaber studies, Master Gallia chose to adopt a reverse one-handed grip when wielding the blade, giving her the ability to counter attacks with long, wide swings and strikes (Riposte, Recurring Success (Riposte), Makashi riposte). Over the other six forms of lightsaber style, Master Gallia preferred to employ the lesser practiced Form V, or Shien, an aggressive and physically demanding style of fighting (barrier of blades, Shien deflection).

Master Gallia's skill with a lightsaber was only rivaled by her affinity for piloting starfighters in battle, having trained with the renowned ace pilot Saesee Tiin (Force Pilot, Vehicular Combat, Vehicular Surge). Indeed, Master Windu chose Gallia to lead her fellow Jedi in the space battle over Geonosis while the other Jedi engaged the Separatist Droid Army on the ground. Using the callsign "Shooting Star", Master Gallia was assigned many missions by the High Council where she employed her piloting skills.

As a Knight, Jedi Stass Allie studied the way of the Jedi Consular. Allie trained rigorously in the art of diplomacy, (Adept Negotiator, Force Persuasion, Master Negotiator, Silver Tongue, Consular's Vitality) becoming a top adviser to many high ranking officials in the Galactic Senate. Additionally, Allie chose to pursue a specialization in healing, a technique she perfected, eventually earning herself a seat on the Circle of Jedi Healers. Coleman Trebor, Jedi Consular




Coleman Trebor was a male Vurk native to the backwater planet of Sembla, born during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Though Trebor's species was considered primitive by galactic standards, he was found to be Force-sensitive early in his life, and was taken in by the Jedi Order for training. He became a Jedi Knight and eventually a Master, the only known Vurk to have done so during the Republic Classic era. As a Master, he peacefully resolved a number of large disputes between important planets with great success, earning a reputation as a skilled negotiator and diplomat. (Force Persuasion, Influence Savant, Master Negotiator) Like all Jedi, Trebor was trained in the art of lightsaber combat, though he preferred to use words over violence. (Mind Trick, Improved Mind Trick, Influence Savant) Despite this, he never hesitated to draw his weapon when the situation required it of him, and he was known to be a cunning warrior. Trebor also spent time in the Jedi Archives in the Temple on Coruscant. (Skill Focus: Knowledge [galactic lore], Scholarly Knowledge) He shared a close friendship with a Human female Padawan named Jyl Somtay, and the two had many insightful conversations.

Trebor made many contacts while serving as a mediator, and was well-known throughout the galaxy, as well as in the Jedi Order. Many outsiders of the Order believed that he represented how they expected a Jedi to behave, and he was widely respected, which was something of a surprise to many considering his humble background. After Jedi Master Yarael Poof's death in 27 BBY, Trebor was appointed as his replacement on the Jedi High Council. The Council chose him because of his myriad contacts around the galaxy (Informer), and because of his abilities in dealing with other species. (Linguist, Skill Focus: Knowledge [social sciences], Force Perception) He was often sent to social events to act as a representative of the Council, and was a spokesbeing for the Jedi Order, often directly speaking to the media.

Yarael Poof, Jedi Sage




Yarael Poof was a Quermian Jedi Master and revered member of the Jedi High Council in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Rather mischievous in his use of the Force, Master Poof was a consummate practitioner of the Affect Mind ability (Mind Trick, Influence Savant), thus limiting his need to wield his lightsaber. As a Quermian, he was able to use the Force to enhance his species’ natural telepathic abilities. (Perfect Telepathy, Psychic Citadel, Telepathic Intruder, Telepathic Link).

As a instructor at the academy on Coruscant, Poof passed down his knowledge on the Force (SF: Galactic Lore, Mentor, Recall) to future generations of Knights.

Yarael Poof was a gifted illusionist, using the Force to project images into the minds of others. (Illusion, Masquerade) Using this talent, he could draw on the fears of others to frighten them or create a dopplegänger of himself to fool an opponent. Among his other Force talents, Master Poof was famed for his telekinetic ability to trigger fires by manipulating the molecules of combustible objects (Combustion) and his rare talent for Battle Meditation. As a Quermian, Poof did not have a spinal column; thus, he could contort his body in ways few other species could match. (Acrobatics) Coupled with his extra set of arms that could move independently of each other, Master Poof was extremely dexterous.

Jocasta Nu, Jedi Archivist




Jocasta Nu was the Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives at the time of the Clone Wars with a penchant for being a bit overconfident in the completeness of her Archives. Her patterned robes bore the symbols of the Ansata, representing her devotion to knowledge and learning. During her tenure as Chief Librarian, Nu was appointed to the Jedi High Council and served in that position for ten years before stepping down some time prior to 49 BBY.

Passing the Jedi Trials, Nu pursued the path of the Consular and became a researcher specializing in the field of archaeology. Attaching herself to the Exploration Corps after consulting the Council of Reassignment, Nu traveled the galaxy gathering information for the Jedi Archives.

Yaddle, Jedi Instructor




Yaddle, also known as "The One Below", was a renowned Jedi Master, who went on to serve the Jedi High Council for over a century. A member of the same species as fellow Councilor Yoda, but about half his age, Yaddle trained dozens of Padawans (Mentor, Awaken Force Sensitivity, Eyes of the Force, Gauge Force Potential, Apprentice Boon, Gauge Force Potential, Link, Share Force Technique, Share Talent, Skilled Advisor) in her time as a Jedi Master. She became one of the most revered members of the Jedi Order, and her fellow Jedi would often consult her for her wisdom and knowledge on many subjects. (Elder’s Knowledge, Skill Focus: Knowledge [galactic lore])

Yaddle's exposure to little-known aspects of the Force granted her powers rarely used by Jedi, including the ancient and forbidden Jedi combat art of Morichro, a technique which enabled the user to rapidly slow down the bodily functions of its target to the point of death. Yaddle was also known for possessing the extremely rare Force Light power, being the only known Jedi of her time who was able to use the power.

A Jedi Consular, she was not as martial as many of her fellow councilors. However, she was still able to do battle, showing amazing speed (surge), alacrity and apptitude of the Force. Before dying on her final mission, before dying she spoke to Anakin telepathically, about his destiny as the Chosen One and how he must live up to his responsibility.
