Aegis Angel + Totem Armor.

When casting Aegis Angel and then targeting Boar Umbra are you making the creature that Boar Umbra is attached to "permanently" indestructible?

The totem armor rule text says - If enchanted creature would be destroyed, instead remove all damage from it and destroy this Aura.  It says destroy this aura, not sacrifice this aura and something that is indestructible can't be destroyed.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, making an aura with Totem Armor indestructible makes the enchanted permanent effectively indestructible as well. Any time it would be destroyrd, the Totem Armor aura tries to be destroyed as well... and fails, resulting in no effect other than removing damage.

Eh, it isn't really a combo as most people would just make the creature indestructible but I have an Aura deck similar to the one on Duels of the Planeswalkers and I want to be able to protect the enchantments as much as I can.

Thanks guys.
