Obviously I wanted to green as one of my colors, and thought blue might be my second.  Blue did look open in the first pack, luckily it paid off in the third pack.  I was thinking this would be a little more control that what it turned out to be.  Both Rampant Growths are in because of the double colored casting costs on several creatures.  This deck can also utilize the mana with the Azure Mage in the later rounds when I have less to cast.  I did have both Hunter's Insights in the deck, but removed one for more room.  There are plenty of cards that can be sided in, depending on what opponent is playing.  Even with 14 creatures, this deck should make a good run at winning most games.  Let me know what you think.

Second build.  This was the other colors I was thinking of drafting in the first draft.  Once I saw the Grave Titan, I decided I wanted to go back and draft these colors to see what the results would be.  I think I like this deck better than my first draft.  Unfortunately there is very little removal, but plenty of creatures.  Flying will be the biggest problem for this deck, with only 1 Plummet in sideboard.  With all the creatures in the deck, hopefully opponent will be on the defensive.  Object of the deck is creature beatdown.  Keep casting and attacking, save the Sorin's Thirst and Wring Flesh for problematic creatures that aren't attacking or blocking.  Tormented Soul will set up Bloodthirst, with 3 I should see at least 1 almost every game.  Then use the Lure towards the end as a finisher, maybe on the Titan to clear some creatures from the board.  Titan should be out by turn 4 or 5.  Diabolic Tutor is for the Titan, unless I already have it in hand, then maybe the Acidic Slime, or Ghoul with plenty of creatures in the yard to make it worthwhile.  Even though my mana curve is not very even, I would be happy to play this deck.  Let me know what you think.
I want to know, why is it always the other drafters who open planeswalkers and Titans?

NOTABLE SIDEBOARD CARDS
Manic Vandal - Against an artifact of significance
Combust - Against white and/or blue decks
Roc Egg - For longer games and/or lots of flying
Alabaster Mage - For longer games
2 x Spirit Mantle - For longer games
Circle of Flame - Against fast decks and lots of 1 toughness creatures

This is a very aggressive deck, with a couple of threats for long game.  Unfortunately I only have 1 Goblin Tunneler and 1 Fiery Hellhound.  This deck should be able to deal lots of damage early, then let the Dragon or Golem finish things off.  Thought 5 goblins made it worthwhile to include the Chieftain maindeck, Grenade was in before the Cheiftain.  Grenade is a good finisher and should at least 1 or 2 options for sacrifice.  With the curve skewed towards early game, I included the Firebreathing to make use of later rounds along with the Hellhound.  Firebreathing would be a great target for the Golem.  The main problem this deck will have is stalling out mid/late game with no card drawing ability.  I could always side in Mesa Enchantress and other enchantments if the first games runs long and I stall out.  Probably wouldn't use this until 3rd game, and if opponent has a very slow defensive deck.  Not against control or burn decks, as this would give the opponent a 2 for 1 spell.  Act of Treason is in the deck to clear a blocker and gain an attacker, helps with the aggressive style of the deck.  Shocks will be used to clear blockers, unless to finish off opponent.  Gideon's Lawkeeper should keep biggest threat locked down.  Only concern with the mana base is not having the double white for Armored Warhorse early, if this is problem, it would be sided out.

Let me know what you think of the deck!  Does this look like a deck that can win most matches?  Or does the curve need to be evened out?
I want to know, why is it always the other drafters who open planeswalkers and Titans?

I agree!  It always seems like the Mega Bombs go to other players.  I can only remember once where we opened a Mega Bomb.  This time there were 3 in the draft.
Bombs for the others are somewhat a way to force the algorithm its first pick. Since we dont get to know their decks, it matters little (but sure, would really help MY "algorithm" crack one first pack)

Anyway, my picks got consfusing, I would have no way to take advantage of a DOJ anymore than my opponent, and nothing else seemed worth to compromise my picks, so I went for some utility. Then removal, then disruption, then phantasmal image to copy what I cant fight, so I was already blue, and red kept kinda open all the time. This is the result:

Round 1:
Azure Mage
Chandra's Outrage
Cancel
Phantasmal Image
Azure Mage
Frost Breath
Manic Vandal
Lightning Elemental
Kite Shield
Jace's Erasure
Buried Ruin
Firebreathing
Unsummon
Wall of Torches

Round 2:

Tectonic Rift
Phantasmal Bear

Smallpox
Amphin Cutthroat

Round 3:

Manalith
Shock
Goblin Arsonist
Jace's Erasure
Ice Cage
Aven Fleetwing
Phantasmal Bear
Goblin Bangchuckers
Wurm's Tooth
Ponder
Alluring Siren
Flight
Mountain

Idk, 4 illusions, one lord, a little filtering and some manalith, since the double costs on blue are more vitals, double red are going to get into trouble, even if not the turn ealier Volcanic Dragon is fair enough. There are some tempo spells, like unsummon aether adept, frost breath can even finish.
This may find some really good draws, and two ponders early may fix things, but not too much faith to be honest
Funny, though, to have a stronger Grave Titan with hexproof (copy with lord in play)

This deck was hard to make, because there were so many good cards to choose from.  I decided to focus on the illusions and evasion.  I could have went a more towards bloodthirsty, but I felt this was stronger.  The potential 4/2 unblockable was just to strong to ignore, so I threw all the Tormented Souls and Dark Favors.  This could also make a 5/3 Aven Fleetwing, for a very strong hexproof evasive creature.  I also hope to draw Grave Titan and Phantasmal Image with the Lord in play.  This would be a game ender.  There are so many ways to kill the opponent, they will have trouble keeping the treats off the board.  I have a few ways of removing threats from the opposing forces.  With some spot removal and the evasion, getting damage through should be easy.  Of all the double costs, only Lord of the Unreal may cause a problem.  The others are conditional or higher costed, so having the mana available when I'm ready to play them shouldn't be a problem.  The curve is skewed towards early drops, but the illusions are strong for their cost.  This will open up more opportunity to leave mana available for some removal or card drawing with Azure Mage.

This is an exciting deck, probably the best I have drafted and build in the simulator so far.  This deck should win every match-up!  Let me know what you think.

I'm liking this a lot better even though no bombs ever came my way:  cheap, good critters with spells to keep the opponent off balance until it's too late.  I'm debating whether to maindeck Smallpox and/or play 16 land.  The sideboard has some useful stuff to adapt for games 2 and 3.

There was too much good stuff going around in too many different colors at the beginning for me to solidly pick a color.  By the time I realized red was still open it was too late, I was too firmly in W/U.

From Mark Rosewater's Tumblr: the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play? I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature.

***************************************************************************************

MaRo: One of the classic R&D stories happened during a Scars of Mirrodin draft. Erik Lauer was sitting to my right (meaning that he passed to me in the first and third packs). At the end of the draft, Erik was upset because I was in his colors (black-green). He said, "Didn't you see the signals? I went into black-green in pack one." I replied, "Didn't you see my signals? I started drafting infect six drafts ago."

***************************************************************************************

MaRo: I redesigned him while the effect was on the stack.

I first picked the Cudgel Troll deciding to go green and give up the Day of Judgement.  When the Ponder came around, third picked it to splash.  I picked up the Grave Titan on second pack, second pick, you're crazy to pass that on no matter what colors you're in.  Ended up with the Lord of the Unreal, Phantasmal Image, and 4 Phantasmal Bears, along with 3 Ponders, Azure Mage, and Looter to hunt for anything I need, go blue power!  After it's all done this is how I ended up, along with a couple good sideboard cards.  Probably not going to win the draft, especially without any air defence until Levitation comes out, but should be entertaining none the less.

At the end of pack one, I had no idea what color I was in. I took DOJ P1P1, and then was on the lookout for low costed creatures that I could drop in a hurry. P2P1 was pretty underwhelming, but P2P2 offered up a Volcanic Dragon! Awesome! Red kept coming my way throughout Pack 2, so I tried building up some goblins. When the Goblin Chieftain wheeled all the way around, I drafted him as well.

Final deck has a goblin theme, with a stock pile of enchantments, with the hope of getting to attach one to the Thran Golem. DOJ to reset the board. I'm not sure if I have enough removal to deal with fliers. Those Acidic Slimes could make short work of that Thran Golem as well.

I did not see the Grave Titan in Pack 2. At all. Weird!

I am splashing blue to try to get the Phantasmal Image out. Copy of the dragon? Sure! Copy of the Goblin Chieftain? Sure! I'm not sure about the Gorehorn Minotaurs. I've never played with those successfully. They might not work very well.

I have to say, I think there is no other choice than Day of Judgement P1p1.  Cudgel Troll is good but a Wrath effect is one of the strongest things you can do in Limited.  The problem is picking a second colour as both Black and Blue look open.  I ended up going for a very aggressive deck with 4 Bears and a Lord.  I also have a stall back-up plan with DOJ if I need it.

You are right, I shouldn't have passed on DOJ.  It is a very strong effect, and a definite game changer.  I will have to take a much harder look at these types of effects in draft in the future.

This time it did pay off, by passing on DOJ, because it looks like it forced the player to the left into white.  Opening up black, because they pulled a Volcanic Dragon over the Grave Titan.  This is not a typical result, as it should never happen in any draft.
