I'd love to see some alternate genre stuff in now that 4e is on the way out. Don't worry about play testing and balance, keep it simple, quick and fun. Give us some sci-fi, steampunk, western and contemporary rules. (Star Frontiers please)

I kind of doubt we will see any expanding areas for the DDI initiative. In fact, I fully expect DDI to shrink for D&D Next. We could see a return to "Web Enhancements" that add extra bits left out of the main rulebook instead of a full-on digital initiative like we are used to. All the "unifying the editions" talk and heavy emphasis on 3E systems (especially the talk of 3E multi-classing) leads me to believe the digital frontier will be lacking. Hopefully I am wrong about that.
