This thread is for discussion of this week's From the Lab article, which goes live Thursday morning on magicthegathering.com.

Needs more Homunculus - the Magic kind, or the FMA kind.  Although we have most of them:

(Note:  I'm using characters from FMA:Brotherhood, not the original FMA)

Faceless Butcher looks like Greed in Ultimate Shield mode, a little.
Phyrexian Metamorph is clearly Envy.
Krosan Colossus kinda looks like Sloth if you squint - same expression at least.
Phyrexian Obliterator has lots of stabby bits, like Pride.
The Onslaught version of Doomed Necromancer looks a bit like Gluttony.
No good options here for Wrath, although Abyssal Persecutor has a sword at least.
If we had Liliana of the Veil, she would be a reasonable stand in for Lust

Of all the decks in this weeks column, I liked the Jedi and Sith decks the most.
I've been playing (with some gaps) since the late 90's. Land Destruction can be fun! I really don't get the Command Tower backlash.
Those jedi decks were awesome. Too bad they have $60 force of wills in them. Why do you hate us and fail to reprint it?
