New Essentials Hybrids in Character Builder have problems

The new Hybrid options in Character Builder are not working as intended. Some issues just from an Assassin(Executioner)|Paladin(Blackguard):
After picking the two free Assassin at-wills, still gained an at-will from the Assassin class - which because I already had an Assassin at-will from the free ones, meant that I was able to pick from the Paladin at-will list twice.

Despite neither side having the option of picking from Encounter powers from their class, I had the option of picking Encounter powers for both classes - this seems to be true for all the hybrid versions of Essentials that are not allowed to pick Encounter powers as a single class.

A Blackguard is not allowed to pick a Daily at 1st, the Assassin(Executioner) can only pick from specific poison options. Yet it both gets a Daily to pick from and can choose from regular Assassin or Paladin Dailies.

Sentinels(Spring) appear on the summary to gain a +1 to hit with scimitars(which is incorrect as they lose that from being a hybrid), but it isn't added into the powers. Sentinels(Summer) do get the damage upgrade to Quarterstaffs to a d12, which is something they're supposed to lose.
Another issue: Hybrid Sentinels have Hybrid Talent access to Primal Guardian(Constitution to AC) despite having that option removed in the update.

It is listed in the update in the main portion just not listed in the class summary:

Hybrid Talent Options
If you take the Hybrid Talent feat, you can select one
of the following options.
Wilderness Knack (Hybrid): You gain one of
the sentinel’s wilderness knack options.
Druid Armor Proficiency: You gain proficiency
with leather armor, hide armor, and light shields.
Primal Guardian: You gain this class feature.
Paragon of the Natural Cycle: You can gain
this class feature only if you are 13th level or higher
and already have the Acolyte of the Natural Cycle
class feature.
Animal Companion Power: You can gain this
class feature only if you are 17th level or higher and
already have the Acolyte of the Natural Cycle class
feature.
Nature’s Bounty: You can gain this class feature
only if you are 27th level or higher and already have
the Acolyte of the Natural Cycle class feature.

Which is slightly worse - it was deliberately removed from the class summary, but not the Hybrid Talent options.

This is a surprise?
Terms you should know...
Show
Kit Build - A class build that is self sustaining and has mechanical differences than the normal scale. Started in Essentials. Most are call their own terms, though the Base Class should be said in front of their own terms (Like Assassin/Executioner) Power Points - A mechanic that was wedged into the PHB3 classes (with the exception of the Monk) from the previous editions. This time, they are used to augment At Wills to be Encounters, thus eliminating the need to choose powers past 4th level. Mage Builds - Kit builds that are schools of magic for the Wizard. A call back to the previous editions powering up of the wizard. (Wizard/Necromancer, for example) Unlike the previous kit builds, Wizards simply lose their Scribe Rituals feature and most likely still can choose powers from any build, unlike the Kit Builds. Parcel System - A treasure distribution method that keeps adventurers poor while forcing/advising the DM to get wish lists from players. The version 2.0 rolls for treasure instead of making a list, and is incomplete because of the lack of clarity about magic item rarity.

They will Essentialize the Essentials classes, otherwise known as Essentials2. The new sub-sub-classes will be: * Magician. A subsubclass of Mage, the magician has two implements, wand and hat, one familiar (rabbit) and series of basic tricks. * Crook. A subsubclass of Thief, the Crook can only use a shiv, which allows him to use his only power... Shank. * Angry Vicar, a subsubclass of warpriest, the angry vicar has two attacks -- Shame and Lecture. * Hitter. A subsubclass of Slayer, the Hitter hits things. * Gatherer. A subsubclass of Hunter, it doesn't actually do anything, but pick up the stuff other players might leave behind. Future Essentials2 classes include the Security Guard (Sentinel2), the Hexknife (Hexblade2), the Webelos (Scout2), the Gallant (Cavalier2) and the Goofus (Knight2). These will all be detailed in the box set called Heroes of the Futile Marketing. (Though what they should really release tomorrow is the Essentialized version of the Witchalok!)
Hybrid Executioner's Strike also gives an additional use for a second pick, rather than just increasing the d10s.
Also, where are the new ranger feat options?

I know Archery Mastery is in there, I've put it on two characters.

Is there a reason why a Hybrid Ranger cannot pick Archery Mastery? I didn't see any restrictions like that in the article?

No reason that I've found. It's on my Hunter/Seeker (Ranger/Seeker Hybrid).

Hmm well I seem to be having issues trying to select it. When I make up the character, I tried your Seeker/Ranger hybrid to see if it was just the Executioner that was stopping me and going to feats to select Archery Mastery but it wasn't offered. Is there something else I have to check off to get the feat offered?

Maybe there is something I am missing?

If you haven't selected a Ranger power, it won't let you select the feat, because it requires you already have a Ranger at-will. you then go and pick which one to replace and which power you will take in its place.
so, it's been a while since I've read this forum, but last night I discovered a bug with the vampire hybrid - you get the surges from the other class!

sent in a bug report, but thought I'd let people here know too (couldn't find any mention of this in the first page or so)
