The Eldritch Slayer (Contains 1.2 Pounds of Cheese)

This Slayer eschews the normal roads to power, such as lifting weights or having muscles, and instead seeks strength through the best source of all: MAAAGIC. By copying the Warlock's Eldritch Strike, he can instead channel his magical might into physical attacks. Adding that with the training from the Kulkor Battlearm School, and the augmentation of the icy magic of his warshovel, he smites his enemies with righteous fury.

Why's your Dex so low?
Meh.  CON-Slayer is OK, but you lose out on access to Rain of Blows or another Fighter encounter power that really boosts your nova.

That being said, losing Rain of Blows for guaranteed Kulkorcheese is not so bad.
Harrying your Prey, the Easy Way: A Hunter's Handbook - the first of what will hopefully be many CharOp efforts on my part. The Blinker - teleport everywhere. An Eladrin Knight/Eldritch Knight. CB != rules source.

pumping dex is irrelevent until you get your attack stat maxed on a Slayer since the attack stat directly adds to damage at the same speed as dex does while at the same time adding to accuracy. Also, polearm momentum is a but attribute intensive.

This trick does work better on a Cha-Blackguard, and I plan on posting my build of that later.

If you give up 2 points of CON for 3 points in DEX:

  • You lose 2 HP, 1 surge, 1 Fort, +1 to attack

  • You gain 1 damage

  • You gain 2 reflex

  • You gain +2 initiative

  • Armored Mobility is slightly better (not that it matters much)

Tough call...
I had a con based slayer a while ago that was very good (but doesn't do kulkor damage of course).  Still should anybody get excited about kulkor anymore?   Even a wizard can destroy the universe using kulkor.

It's the strongest PP for a Slayer that can guarantee polearm momentum, so that's why this build uses it lol. The PP can be changed to whatever, Kulkor is just the best.

Let us be honest here.  Kulkor is about the best for any striker wanting damage regradless of class.  It can turn a str based wizard into a striker and that is just nuts.  Still no debate on how effective it is.

Really the trick with this build is using Eldritch Strike, I just tacked on KAM for some extra oomph because it was easy to trigger. But Lyrander Wind-Rider is also good if i take a lightning weapon and mark of storms (or arcane admixture), and Kensai is always decent. I'm not arguing that KAM isn't overwhelmingly the best, just mentioning that there are alternatives that aren't as overdone/lame :D

Oh I know lyrander was what I used at first but I actually got better damage overall from academy master.  The damage and to hit is nearly the same (+5 to damage is nearly as good and better than kensai and it gets a +1 to hit after hitting with an at will so nearly every turn you will have that +1) but the daily and encounter powers are both good unlike lyrander.   I was also able to fit whit lotus ripost and master riposte which yours could probably make use of.

I hadn't thought of Academy Master, and I could probably find room for the white lotus feats by dropping KAM, I'll rebuild and put that up as well :D

Y9ou can also use your multiclass feat to pick up bard and use a power swap feat to take one of the awesome level 22 options the bard possesses (minor action MBA every encounter on top of what I have yes please).

I weas really sad when hewing charge required "fighter weapon talent" and not just "weapon talent" as that lost me my con mod again on charges.
I actually am working on a ConSlayer - Lyrander - Reincarnate Champion that uses Shocking Flame to get lightning damage in epic which lets you pick up the permafrost combo as well switching from the lightning weapon that was used in paragon to a frost weapon.

Believe me I had the same thing going when I made my eldritch slayer.
