As soon as the DCI announces the criteria and procedures for organizing a Modern tournament (as well as updates the reporter software), TOs will be able to hold FNMs with the Modern format,  just as it is with Legacy, constructed, and limited.

What? Since when are formats other than Standard and draft allowed for FNM?
