This thread is for discussion of this week's Booster Draft Simulator, which goes live Monday morning on magicthegathering.com.

Now, I should note that I did this last night, so I think the AI was a little screwy. Still, here's what I got.

Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Brindle Boar
Llanowar Elves
Dungrove Elder
Autumn's Veil
Garruk's Companion
Manalith
Phantasmal Image
Mind Control
Throne of Empires
Timely Reinforcements
Rampant Growth
Personal Sanctuary
Scrambleverse
Mountain

Round 2:
Ponder
Scepter of Empires
Visions of Beyond
Rampant Growth
Negate
Stingerfling Spider
Arachnus Spinner
Turn to Frog
Timely Reinforcements
Lord of the Unreal
Belltower Sphinx
Glacial Fortress
Reverberate
Reassembling Skeleton
Forest

Round 3:
Llanowar Elves
Acidic Slime
Azure Mage
Llanowar Elves
Garruk's Horde
Acidic Slime
Grave Titan
Aegis Angel
Mesa Enchantress
Archon of Justice
Rites of Flourishing
Doubling Chant
Overrun
Sundial of the Infinite
Swamp
Round 1:Garruk, Primal Hunter <- Duh.  Even if he wasn't awesome, he's a money pick and easy to build around.
Serra Angel <- No amazing green followup, but Serra is a beating.
Timely Reinforcements <- Puts us in Green/White pretty easily, since both colors are slower than the bloodthirst aggro, this is a great card
Sacred Wolf <- Green/White's win condition is usually Sacred Wolf + auras, Growth/Veteran aren't as good
Stonehorn Dignitary <- Taken over nothing, really.  Great answer to Bloodthirst strategies as well.
Garruk's Companion <- Taken over nothing, rest of the pack was terrible.
Alabaster Mage <- Hard choice, figured I'd get another aura, and croc vs mage is tough, but I like lifelink
Divine Favor <- Aforementioned other aura, taken over Fog/Naturalize which are pretty bad maindeck cards
Sacred Wolf <- Taken over griffin sentinel, figured I'd get spiders/plummets to help with fliers
Titanic Growth <- Taken over Brindle Boar because Brindle Boar.
Llanowar Elves <- Wheeling elves out of a green-light pack means green is likely very open.
Circle of Flame <- Everything down from here is just the last stuff there.
Personal Sanctuary
Angel's Feather
Mountain

Round 2:Timely Reinforcements -> Pack had Stonehorn Dignitary, Sacred Wolf, or Reinforcements.  The latter is worth money and still good.
Pacifism -> Removal, yay!  Taken over Stave Off and another alabaster mage, both extremely inferior
Stave Off -> Great combat trick and kills auras dead.
Garruk's Companion -> Need bodies, this is a good one.
Trollhide -> Win condition with Sacred Wolf or Serra Angel
Trollhide -> Etc.
Mighty Leap -> Only decent card left.
Plummet -> Need more removal for fliers since we only saw one Giant Spider and didn't take it
Sacred Wolf -> Over another dignitary.
Stave Off -> Over nothing, wheeled from the pacifism pack.
Merfolk Mesmerist -> Everything from here on in is just random
Lifelink
Bountiful Harvest
Angel's Mercy
Forest

Round 3:Thran Golem -> I want Mesa Enchantress, Giant Spider, Peregrine Griffin, and Elves too, but this guy is a 3rd win condition
Archon of Justice -> Another solution to flier decks.  Nothing wrong with splashing fireball here, but need dudes.  Auramancer is good but nowhere near.
Divine Favor -> Nothing else in our colors, more stuff for Thran Golem.
Peregrine Griffin -> Taken over elves, mastadon, and boar.  Needed another answer to fliers.
Vastwood Gorger -> Needed more dudes, taken over plummet and crown (too slow).
Benalish Veteran -> Griffin Sentinel really doesn't do much for us because we want to beat on the ground, so Vet it is
Titanic Growth -> Growth of the Rampant or Titanic Variety, I chose the latter because we're not splashing and don't have rigerous color reqs
Stonehorn Dignitary -> Over nothing
Mesa Enchantress -> 2 out of 4 cards I wanted wheeled, took the better one.  We're playing 3-5 auras in the deck.
Gladecover Scout -> only card here, 99% chance of not playing it.
Reclaim -> may see play
Brindle Boar -> Fills curve
Lifelink -> Randoms from here on down.
Bountiful Harvest
Swamp

If I were pressed to make a deck, it'd probably go something like:

1x Llanowar Elves
1x Pacifism
2x Timely Reinforcements
2x Sacred Wolf
2x Stonehorn Dignitary
1x Stave Off
1x Brindle Boar
2x Trollhide
1x Garruk, Primal Hunter
1x Benalish Veteren
1x Serra Angel
1x Archon of Justice
1x Thran Golem
2x Divine Favor
1x Mesa Enchantress
2x Garruk's Companion
1x Alabaster Mage
11 Forest
6 Plains

It's a bit slow, but hopefully 2 dignitaries and 2 reinforcements will keep it afloat long enough to get the auras rolling.  Against U/W Fliers it has a sweet sideboard of plummets and a few fliers.

Win condition 1: Garruk
Win condition 2: Sacred Wolf + Trollhide/Favor
Win Condition 3: Thran Golem + Aura
Win Condition 4: Serra + Archon hitting in the air

Garruk in pack 1, what a no-brainer.  As if anything other than a planeswalker is ever a first-pick.

Some utterly inexplicable passes in this draft.  How does an Elite Vanguard ever survive until third pick, let alone a Garruk's Companion to the sixth?

Rather cruel for the Mesa Enchantress to show up in pack 3, considering that you won't usually have taken many enchantments before that.  That's why I drafted this simulation twice.

And man, am I ever getting sick of Bountiful Harvest existing.

For the record, here are my picks:

First time (no knowledge of future picks):

As far as the benefit of the rest of Magic is concerned, gold cards in Legends were executed perfectly. They got all the excitement a designer could hope out of a splashy new mechanic without using up any of the valuable design space. Truly amazing. --Aaron Forsythe's Random Card Comment on Kei Takahashi

Show
Bear in mind that some picks were influenced by the fact that I'm not very good at this game, and have a tendency to rare-draft.  I just got back in after about three years out of the game.

First round.

1.       My Rare is Garruk, I guess I’m drafting Green!

2.       Uncommons are Consume Spirit, Bangchuckers, Serra; Greens Titanic Growth, Brindle Boar, Arachnus web.  I take Titanic Growth.

3.       Only greens are mana elf and Basilisk. Branch white? Vanguard, Reinforcements, Guardians Pledge, Storm Pegasus. Also Manalith and Bell Sphinx. I take the basilisk.

4.       Elixir of Immortality or Rampant Growth?  Gotta Ramp.  Sacred Wolf and Roc Egg are also rans.

5.       Personal Sanctuary if I’m still thinking white… Autumn Veil and Reclaim.  Going with Reclaim.

6.       Gladecover scout or Garruk’s Champion.  What’s not to like about a 3/2 Trample?  Pass on Angel’s mercy.  Maybe I’m not going to branch white after all?

7.       Lurking Croc is only green. But I’ve got Alabaster mage, Divine Fervor, and Pride Guardian in White.   Mage is best pick.  (There’s still a Master Thief available, my neighbors aren’t drafting blue. One’s drafting black for sure though, and maybe green.)

8.       Naturalize, Fog, or a divine Fervor, now that I’ve branched.  Naturalize; it’s a rare deck that has no artifacts or enchantments I want to deal with.

9.       Sacred Wolf, Armored Warhorse, or Griffin Sentinal?  Not the horse, he needs 2 white. Taking the wolf; I just might need to defend Garruk.

10.   Crap, Griffin Rider; I could have had the combo. Taking Brindle Boar. (over a flyer? Hmmm.)

11.   Mana elf, but white’s got Vanguard and Timely Reinforcements.  Taking the elf for speed.

12.   No greens, but a Demystify to run with.

13.   No greens, but the Sanctuary has made it back around. Taking it.

14.   Angels Feather or a mountain. Hmm, a difficult pick.

15.   Oooh, a mountain!

Second Round

1.       Crap, hate (or money) draft the Goblin Chief, or keep the Sengir out of other’s hands?  Elixir is ok. Only greens are a Naturalize and a Sacred Wolf.  Best white is a Timely Reinforcements; I go with it.

2.       Lord of the Unreal.  Stop tempting me to rare draft! (guy to my right’s not blue… unless he took a foil, he took a common.) Only green’s a Croc, Whites are Pacifism, Alabaster Mage, and Stave off.  I’m going with the Pacifism.

3.       Visions of Beyond?  He’s definitely not blue.  Crap, I think he’s Green. Grabbing a Stormfront Pegasus.  I believe I will be strong white this round….

4.       Then again, my choices are Ramp, Titanic Growth and Garruk’s companion.  Damn!  Oh, and a Wurm’s Tooth, Lifelink, and there’s my Griffin Rider (note: brain fart, it was a Sentinal I’d passed on). Speed or power?  Going for the trampler.  I’m going to hate my choice no matter what…

5.       Holy crap, Reverberate.  So none of the five guys to my left are into red? Or was there better? Other reds are Fling, and Act of Treason.  No white, my Greens are Trollhide, Brindle Boar, and Bountiful Harvest.  Taking Trollhide.

6.       Be dammned, ANOTHER Trollhide. Also a Rootbound Crag.  Ok, now I’m conflicted.  IRL I’d be tempted to take the dual land, and branch red at this point.  The white cards are Griffin Sentinel (dammit, missed the combo AGAIN) and Angel’s mercy. Also a Giant Spider in green.   What to do…. My personal collection is strong in red.  Metagame for a red/green constructed format deck?  Or stay the course, try to win and get more resources?  My play skill says go for the sure thing.   Rootbound Crag it is, and we’ll see what comes up in red from this point.

7.       Not good, only a piker. Fog and Reclaim vs. Mighty Leap and Pride Guardian. Fogging.

8.       DAMMIT, a Worldslayer!  Oh, and a Sentinel. The gods of draft taunt me.  Goblin War paint, Plummet, and a Bountiful Harvest.  Taking the War Paint, it will look good on the trampler.

9.       Oh. My. God.  The Goblin Chief made it back around. Taking, over a Sacred Wolf and Naturalize.

10.   Lava Axe beats Stave Off, nothing else worth considering.

11.   Guess no one likes Phantasms, the Visions of Beyond made it back around.  Firebreathing or Stave off?  I went red, dude—so why am I asking?  Firebreathing.

12.   NO red, one white (lifelink) and a Wurm tooth.  I know I’m green, going tooth.

13.   Bountiful Harvest over a black card.

14.   Angels Mercy, even if I’m not in white anymore

15.   The shop owner will have to supply me with one less forest.

Third Round

1.       Volcanic Dragon. Stop there, the rest is irrelevant.

2.       Sigh, Archon of Justice? Yes, the gods of draft laugh at me.  Fireball it is.

3.       Rites of Flourishing or Chandra’s Outrage.  Take a common over a rare?  Blasphemy! Outrage takes double red; Rite helps my opponent too.  I Outrage.

4.       Doubling Chant… I’ve got no paired creatures.  Rare draft, or grab the Fireslinger, mana elf, or Brindle Boar?   Sigh, this is why my draft decks suck.  Chant it is.

5.       No red, someone to my right is drafting it, I’m sure. Don’t remember much in round 1 either.  On the other hand, can I take this hand for the rest of my picks? Naturalize, Plummet, a Vastwood Gorger, and oh-by-the-way… Garruk’s Horde. GRAB.

6.       Trollhide? Bountiful Harvest? Lure?  Another War Paint?  Nah, I’m taking that dinky little Goblin Arsonist.

7.       Another toughie.  Fiery Hellhound, Crimson mage, Titanic Growth, or a Rampant Growth.  Titanic, now I hope  I don’t sink like it.

8.       Fog, Naturalize, or a Goblin Tunneler?  Let’s dig.

9.       Hellhound, Mana elf, Runeclaw Bear, or Fiery Hellhound.  Taking the 2nd Llanowar Elf, for another cheap creature and mana speed.

10.   It’s between a Gladecover scout and a Dragon claw. 14 creatures, but a hard mana curve.  Taking the scout.

11.   Oh, the Rites are back.  So’s the Reclaim, and it’s not a double-edged sword. No reds, taking the reclaim.

12.   Only red is the Bangchuckers; the only way they’ll survive is if I have the chief out. Taking the Brindle boar.

13.   Naturalize over lifelink.

14.   Bountiful Harvest

15.   “The third one burned down, fell over, and THEN sank into the Swamp!”

Glad you guys got the M12 up, but this was NOT a real draft.  It was almost like the AI was programed to take the Worst card in every pack.  It didn't matter what color combination you went into, your deck was AMAZING, even after building 5colorgreengoodstuff.dec  and getting pick 8 grave titan as te only black card.  Clearly WR was the best though.
For those who care, and not holding myself as any authority on the subject, I've done a FULL WALKTHROUGH below since although the colors are obvious the picks weren't. And since we never get a walkthrough anywhere else on this site...

As Falcon and others have noted, this was a bit too easy as to what colors you would end up in, ie. . Such is the legacy of planeswalkers.

Round 1:

1. Garruk, Primal Hunter

Whilst mind control is a respectable first pick, it doesn't compare to the board advantage of a PW like Garruk, especially in a color which can accelerate. Unless the world turns on its head, I'm in green.

2. Serra Angel

Another limited first pick bomb. The only other cards of note: arachnus web and griffin rider.

3. Stormfront Pegasus

Could be wrong, but here's the thinking. Timely reinforcements is only good when you are BEHIND. I am playing green-white, the colors of fast creatures so it is likely I will be dropping creatures quite soon. The other thought is llanowar elves, but I'd rather have a two-drop aggressive flyer.

I could have splashed for a belltower sphinx but I can't see it adding to what white has for flyers.

4. Rampant Growth

RG does two things - it gets me a turn quicker to Garruk, and it helps me deal with when running two colors. I take it therefore over sacred wolf and roc egg which are both respectable picks.

5. Stonehorn Dignitary

Not much else on offer (although I note I could have splashed for deathmark. Anyone who has played against this Rhino will know it is very very annoying.

6. Garruk's Companion

Not much choice here, and its decent enough.

7. Alabaster Mage

Lurking Crocodile is also good, and likely to be a 3/3. But I will most likely be dropping some evasion creatures and big beasties and the lifelink ability can turn games around quickly.

8. Naturalize

I lack removal, and there's a fair amount of auras and equipment to worry about, not to mention artifact creatures. Conditional removal is probably better than divine honor at this stage.

9. Griffin Sentinel

Its a choice between this and the sacred wolf. If I had a couple of troll hide auras I would pick the wolf, but I haven't seen any and I get the sense that I am being cut to my right from green. Plus there is the possibility of the Griffin Rider wheeling. By a hair, I choose the griffin.

10. Griffin Rider

It wheeled. This card marked the turn of the bias of my draft from Gw to WG.

11. Llanowar Elves

I might have picked elite vanguard or timely reinforcements. However, given my run of white creatures, I also need to make sure I don't lose out on green, because I have a strong reason to play it as a main color. I haven't passed any really good green cards to my left so I am thinking I will get a good run of cards in the next pack. I take the walking forest.

12. Demystify
13. Personal Sanctuary
14. Angel's Feather
15. Mountain

Round 2:

1. Stonehorn Dignitary

Again, I pass sacred wolf. Just. I really want removal and more griffins, in the absence of which I will take a good ground staller.

2. Pacifism

No question, take the on-colour removal.

3. Lurking Crocodile

I already have a number of good two drops, so pass on the second stormfront pegasus. My three drops are limited and this is anyway a great SB card.

4. Griffin Rider

Tough to pass a second rampant growth, but having two of these justifies hunting griffins and make this deck incredibly aggressive in the air. What is forming now is an air assault in white with rhinos and green creatures clogging up the ground.

5. Trollhide

Even without a wolf this is a great card for me. Slap on a vigilant creature and off we go.

6. Griffin Sentinel

Obviously I am now pursuing a griffin rider strat.

7. Mighty Leap

The pride guardian is also a really good card, but I want a couple of tricks to make up for my lack of direct removal. Its a good card to have in hand when they try to, say, incinerate your griffin sentinel when you swing with your griffin rider.

8. Plummet

Really tough call. Another griffin sentinel on offer. However (a) I have two and we're only half way through the draft and (b) there are other griffin cards at common and (c) I have seen at least one other really good flyer go by and (d) this spell kills a lot of my good creatures.

9. Sacred Wolf

I finally get one. I was tempted with the second naturalize, but now that I own a trollhide this makes more sense.

10. Stave Off

This can also be a pseudo demystify against non-hexproof creatures your opponent controls.

11. Stave Off
12. Lifelink
13. Zombie Infestation
14. Angel's Mercy
15. Forest

Round 3:

1. Peregrine Griffin

I note the volcanic dragon. Plummet may well earn its keep. I was tempted by the thran golem, but my griffin riders demand I pick this.

2. Archon of Justice

Holy cow, another bomb. But then so too is fireball. And I can justify its inclusing with rampant growth. I agonize over this one. Fireball is a card you should take, no matter the color you are playing. Put aside 1 or maybe 2 red mana sources, and don't look back. But then, I look at it from the POV of which card I would least like to face against. Most of my creatures have big butts. It might be a two-for-one by my opponet, but I also have two stave off. Archon, however, is always a threat and has to be dealt with, so in addition to using a good removal spell, you also lose your best other permanent. Plus, there's always a chance I won't have the mana, or the red mana squeezes my dropping Garruk or an angel.

I take the archon.

3. Roc Egg

Had I taken the fireball, I would have also taken the chandra's outrage. But I didn't. This card completes the groundstall defence.

4. Peregrine Griffin

I now have 2 x riders, 2 x sentinels and 2 x peregrine. I reckon 2:1 is about ideal.

5. Crown of Empires

Very tough. Plummet was my other choice and I maybe should have taken it. However crown works against any creature.

6. Lure

This card is constantly underrated in my view. Especially now that I have a trollhide. I figure I still need a little bit of pseudo removal and this is it, passing the griffin sentinel.

7. Griffin Rider

Immediately regret passing the sentinel. This was an expected bonus, but nervous about not having the same number of three-drop griffins. Oh well.

8. Stonehorn Dignitary
9. Runeclaw Bear

Mesa Enchantress is just a wasted card until you have cast TWO enchantments, and maybe even then.

10. Stave Off
11. Reclaim
12. Brindle Boar

I don't expect to play doubling chant even though I have multiples of certain cards.

13. Naturalize
14. Swamp

I am a great believer in passing on-color bad cards in the hope that my opponent will play them.

15. Swamp

Deck Construction

I take out roc egg as I have found it can sit on the sidelines a bit against a certain type of deck, and garruk's companion because I am not leading with green. I up the land count to 8 forests as I have three cards which require double green (I include trollhide in that), but I don't run the elf as by itself it is a little inconsistent.

My three drops are also a bit clogged so I squeeze out the crocodile, and also the third rhino as I hope to play a little more aggressively (albeit my four-drops are a little light).

I need to get to five mana, so 17 land + rampant growth seems required. Only the serra and archon are double white, so I am confortable running 8 forests + rampant growth.

Originally I was pretty happy with this deck, but looking over some of the comments here seems like I might have made some mistakes... green white control type decks have an uphill battle on the best of days after all. I must have been one of the very few people to take the Enchantress over anything else in the P3P1. Then again, I'd picked up an unusually large amount of enchantments either before that point. I really regret taking the growths so early, I figured that I needed to fixing since I seemed to be primary white with a Garuuk, but... those troll hides with only one sacred wolf wounds my soul.

Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Serra Angel
Timely Reinforcements
Rampant Growth
Stonehorn Dignitary
Garruk's Companion
Pride Guardian
Divine Favor
Griffin Sentinel
Titanic Growth

Vastwood Gorger
Griffin Sentinel
Titanic Growth
Stonehorn Dignitary
Llanowar Elves
Stave Off
Divine Favor
Brindle Boar
Naturalize
Bountiful Harvest
Swamp

At this stage, you have 2 5-drops (one of which is a PW and needs defending).  Aggro bloodthirst decks are very good in this format and Timely Reinforcements really eases the pressure from aggressive starts both with the life gain and 3 blockers)

6. Griffin Sentinel

Obviously I am now pursuing a griffin rider strat.

I think the Giant Spider is better here.  The problem with having a great flying deck is spiders that can block everyone but the Angel (or a super Griffin Rider).  Yes, we may pacify him but we know that in we are unlikely to have much removal and therefore I would take a card that is far more disruptive to my deck.

7. Mighty Leap

This I really don't agree with.  You have a bomb in Garruk and any card that can bring him back in the event that he dies (or another great card like the Angel) is too strong to pass for a so-so combat trick.

1. Peregrine Griffin

See my comments on Giant Spider above.  The Spider also blocks this and two spiders together will block and kill all our flyers.  The Griffin is a fine card but the spider is just immense.

As to the Archon, this was a no brainer.  This card is always a 2 for 1 whereas the fireball is best against weenie decks.

3.
Roc Egg

Had I taken the fireball, I would have also taken the chandra's outrage. But I didn't. This card completes the groundstall defence.

Boy I'm glad you didn't taken a splash with a double cost is never a good idea even with massive amounts of fixing.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts on what was a very interesting walkthrough.

I won't post my draft, but I ended up in G/B, as I kept getting Sorin's Thirst about 1oth through 14th picks. I think the most interesting pick in the draft is the 2nd: Serra Angel vs. Arachnus Web.

I prefer the web, as I want to signal very clearly that I want to be green (garruk), and if you take the angel, you're passing web as the best card to the next player. Angel is definitely the better card, but web is still a very early pick, and I think it's worth it to stay open and signal clearly, in my opinion.

Round 1:

Garruk, Primal Hunter

Serra Angel

Guardians' Pledge

Sacred Wolf

Stonehorn Dignitary

Garruk's Companion

Alabaster Mage

Divine Favor

Griffin Sentinel

Griffin Rider

Timely Reinforcements

Demystify

Personal Sanctuary

Angel's Feather

Mountain

Round 2:

Stonehorn Dignitary

Pacifism

Stormfront Pegasus

Griffin Rider

Trollhide

Griffin Sentinel

Mighty Leap

Griffin Sentinel

Sacred Wolf

Lord of the Unreal

Visions of Beyond

Lifelink

Bountiful Harvest

Angel's Mercy

Forest

Round 3:

Thran Golem

Archon of Justice

Gideon's Lawkeeper

Peregrine Griffin

Lifelink

Griffin Sentinel

Griffin Rider

Stonehorn Dignitary

Mesa Enchantress

Gladecover Scout

Divine Favor

Doubling Chant

Plummet

Bountiful Harvest

Swamp

First off, I pick up the Garruk, Primal Hunter, because I need it for my Garruk deck, I hope to see good green but it doesn’t happen after that. Instead Serra Angel shows up, and I’m in a green/white deck.

Lands (17)

Plains 9

Forests 8

I need about even on lands, with white more pressing in need, mostly because of Garruk’s GGG cost. Which means the lands are generally going to be WàWGàGWWàWWGGàWWWGGàWWWGGG in pattern.

Creatures (15)

Alabaster Mage

Archon of Justice

Gideon’s Lawkeeper

Gladecover Scout

4 Griffin Sentinel

Mesa Enchantress (4 aura spells, 1/10 chance to draw a card, not bad)

Peregrine Griffin

2 Sacred Wolf

Serra Angel

Stormfront Pegasus

Thran Golem

Spells (8)

2 Divine Favor (New Holy Strength is good, resolving it on Thran Golem would be ridiculous as a 6/8, also makes 3/1 sacred wolves into 4/4s…)

Garruk Primal Hunter Probably not resolving until Turn 6 at the earliest with the mana base, but still too amazing not to include.

Guardian’s Pledge (white overrun!)

Mighty Leap

Pacifism (removal)

Timely Reinforcements (3 tokens + 6 life maybe?)

Trollhide (Good on Thran Golem or hexproof green guys)

Sideboard: 2 Lifelink, good with Thran Golem and flyers, but not good enough to main, especially with alabaster mage doing it on a stick.

3 Griffin Riders: Potentially 4/4 flyers with the other 6 griffins in the deck, but not good enough to main compared to alabaster mage/stormfront pegasus at the 2 slot.

3 Stonehorn Dignitaries a great board against aggressive ground games as a 1/4  and  steals a combat phase.

Plummet: kill for flyers

Demystify: kill enchant

Garruk’s Companion: Sadly the 3/2 trample will probably come out at Turn 4 at the earliest due to GG mana cost and stays in the board.

Thanks for the feedback Falcon - nice to know someone was reading it.

You make a strong case for the Spider, albeit I think it is still a tough call. Mighty leap I might debate though, but not too hard (I did end up with the reclaim as it wheeled).

Timely reinforcements is difficult, because I grant you if my curve starts at 3 then I'm picking it highly, but in this deck I'm not trying to start the curve that late. I guess it was down to my intent with two 5 drops in hand.

I don't post much anymore.

This is kind of a duh, pick green + something else test, but I liked white best as the second color bc of the 2nd pick Serra Angel.

I won my draft at the prerelease for this with a Black/Green Beatdown deck that had loads of recursion from the graveyard + 2 Overruns and 2 Hideous Visages.  With the two green hexproof creatures at common(plus Tormented Ghoul probably did 40+ damage as a 1-of in the deck simply because I had other stuff they had to deal with since I had 1 Llanowar Elves 1 Elvish Archdruid and a Rampant Growth and I had a Vastwood Gorger and a Carnage Wurm to ramp into.  I also had my pick of all the nice 2 & 3 drop beaters in the set and a singleton Swiftfoot Boots that single-hadedly won several games for me.

It's fairly annoying that the draft isn't truly random. Everyone seems to have gone for green, and I'm no different. Instead of white, though, I went for mostly green with a bit of black for removal and control.

Decklist:

1-Garruk, Primal Hunter (Of course)

3-Llanowar Elves
1-Garruk's Horde
2-Sacred Wolf
2-Brindle Boar
2-Garruk's Companion
1-Gladecover Scout
1-Runeclaw Bear
1-Child of Night
1-Gravedigger

1-Rites of Flourishing
1-Doubling Chant
3-Sorin's Thirst
1-Wring Flesh
1-Hideous Visage
2-Fog
1-Distress

1-Worldslayer (Just for the fun)

9-Forest
5-Swamp
GRIFFINS!  I got a lot of griffins and riders, so crazy deck in terms of air strength!  Here's the deck I'd make from my picks:

Gideon's Lawkeeper
Llanowar Elves
2x Stormfront Pegasus
3x Griffin Rider
Alabaster Mage
3x Griffin Sentinel
Timely Reinforcements
Benalish Veteran
2x Stonehorn Dignitary
2x Peregrine Griffin
Archon of Justice
Serra Angel
Vastwood Gorger
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Pacifism
Trollhide
9x Forest
8x Plains

I think this is pretty crazy with 3 Griffin Riders and 5 Griffins, plus 2 pegasus and the 2 big white fliers. Pow!
I'm going to post this GW deck, and then I'm going to go back and redraft as if I was someone who already owned four copies of the new Garruk and/or despised green because my mom ate my veggies, AND who thinks white cards are racist.  Based on what I saw from the AI, I'm still optimistic.  Stand by...

Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter   ...because I like winning
Serra Angel
Timely Reinforcements
Benalish Veteran
Stonehorn Dignitary
Garruk's Companion
Alabaster Mage
Naturalize
Griffin Sentinel
Griffin Rider
Elite Vanguard
Demystify
Personal Sanctuary
Angel's Feather
Mountain

Round 2:
Timely Reinforcements ...a "virtual" (to use old Dojo language) three-for-one which is very much worthy of a first pick.
Pacifism
Stormfront Pegasus
Griffin Rider
Buried Ruin
Giant Spider
Mighty Leap
Plummet
Sacred Wolf
Stave Off
Stave Off
Lifelink
Bountiful Harvest
Angel's Mercy
Forest

Round 3:
Greatsword ...based not on strict value, but relative value to a flying deck with plenty of room in its mana curve to equip, compared to the rest of a rather unexciting pack
Archon of Justice
Gideon's Lawkeeper
Peregrine Griffin
Crown of Empires
Griffin Sentinel
Rampant Growth
Stonehorn Dignitary
Llanowar Elves
Stave Off
Reclaim
Brindle Boar
Naturalize
Bountiful Harvest
Swamp
I play all colours at one point but Black, Red and Blue are my favourites. Canadian, Eh! Insanity is my theme! dummy2205's Comprehensive Index of Generals
Part 2 of the great Alongi highly-unlikely-redraft experiment:  blue-black didn't turn out awful, though the early blue will compete with early (and intense) black:

Round 1:
Mind Control
Consume Spirit
Belltower Sphinx
Duskhunter Bat
Deathmark
Harbor Serpent
Sorin's Thirst
Frost Breath
Tormented Soul
Titanic Growth
Unsummon
Jace's Erasure
Personal Sanctuary
Angel's Feather
Mountain

Round 2:
Sengir Vampire
Chasm Drake
Belltower Sphinx
Smallpox
Aven Fleetwing
Gravedigger
Hideous Visage
Turn to Frog
Tormented Soul
Lord of the Unreal
Visions of Beyond
Lifelink
Zombie Infestation
Angel's Mercy
Forest

Round 3:
Greatsword
Fireball
Drifting Shade
Devouring Swarm
Duskhunter Bat
Phantasmal Bear
Sorin's Thirst
Hideous Visage
Warpath Ghoul
Phantasmal Bear
Taste of Blood
Brindle Boar
Naturalize
Bountiful Harvest
Swamp

So anyway, GW definitely the way to go.
Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter - Easy pick, just grabbed em, could be possible for a good build, if not just worth so much more
Armored Warhorse - went gw str8 away, I like the warhorse, its a pretty tough creature
Timely Reinforcements - picked it for value, and it could come in really handy
Rampant Growth - for Garruk
Stonehorn Dignitary - for the curve and he has helped me in draft
Garruk's Companion - meh
Divine Favor - since I'm going green I guessed I'll snage some Wolves so there
Divine Favor
Griffin Sentinel - Flier
Titanic Growth - Could be useful
Llanowar Elves - Also for Garruk
Demystify - meh
Personal Sanctuary - not much left
Angel's Feather
Mountain

Round 2:
Timely Reinforcements - 2nd one! though i'm not sure if its usable
Pacifism - only one control...
Visions of Beyond
Rampant Growth
Siege Mastodon - for the curve
Griffin Sentinel
Pride Guardian - handy annoying blocker
Plummet
Sacred Wolf - woohoo
Stave Off - love it
Stave Off
Lifelink - might be used
Zombie Infestation
Angel's Mercy
Forest

Round 3:
Thran Golem - since i have enchantments
Fireball - just grabbed it, duwan it blowing me in the face
Gideon's Lawkeeper - love him too
Llanowar Elves
Garruk's Horde - maybe i can ramp it up to 7
Griffin Sentinel
Rampant Growth
Naturalize
Sacred Wolf
Gladecover Scout
Divine Favor
Doubling Chant
Naturalize - just one
Bountiful Harvest
Swamp

Deck - GW Beatdown (really basic simple deck)

1 Garruk's Companion
1 Armored Warhorse

Spells 10
2 Rampant Growth
3 Divine Favor
1 Pacifism

2 Timely Reinforcements

Lands
7 Forest
7 Plains
This would be a solid white/green in a Booster Tournament. Contorl, flyers, creatures, speed - think it could be a winner

Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Arachnus Web
Timely Reinforcements
Rampant Growth
Ice Cage
Garruk's Companion

So, this is the first time I've simmed a draft, and the first time I've drafted at all since Kamigawa...typing as I draft.

Pick 1:  Well, this is obvious.  Hello, Garruk!

Pick 2:  Fairly straightforward pick.  Could've gone for Titanic Growth, but Serra Angel seemed like the better choice.

Pick 3:  That one's a bit tougher; all the cards are moderate at best.  Well, if I'm gonna use Garruk, I'll definitely need some G, so Llanowar Elves wins out.

Pick 4:  I passed up some Auras a bit earlier, but they were ones that would be used on someone else's creature.  So, Sacred Wolf seemed the best; sucks to give up Rampant Growth, but the Wolf gets priority on this one.

Pick 5:  The toughest choice here seemed to be between Personal Sanctuary and Stonehorn Dignitary.  Decided Dignitary was the better option.

Pick 6:  GG for a 3/2 trample?  Yeah, I'll take Garruk's Companion

Pick 7:  Despite my Wolf, Alabaster Mage gets taken over Divine Favor, because lifelink good.

Pick 8:  Another Divine Favor, but also a Fog.  I'm taking the Favor, because it seems like I'm working towards something that can use it.

Pick 9:  Everyone passed on the Sacred Wolf, so looks like I'm gonna get away Aura heavy.  Taking it.

Pick 10:  Titanic Growth is really the only option here.

Pick 11:  Nothing here worth using except Timely Reinforcements, and that's a little bit fringe.

Pick 12:  Taking Circle of Flame for money; I know no one else is going Enchant-heavy, so Demystify doesn't help.

Pick 13:  Looks like I get my Personal Sanctuary after all.

Pick 14:  Free Angel's Feather

Pick 15:  Mountain, and now pack 2.

Pick 16:  Nothing important, may as well get that third Sacred Wolf

Pick 17:  Tough choice between second Alabaster and Pacifism.  I'll take Alabaster Mage and hope Pacifism passes back.

Pick 18:  Stave Off is the only thing worth running in what I'm doing.  Alternative is Visions of Beyond, since it goes with a constructed strategy I got.

Pick 19:  I go with Garruk's Companion, guessing the Lifelink will get passed back to me.

Pick 20:  With three Sacred Wolves, Trollhide just seems too obvious.

Pick 21:  You're kidding, right?  Trollhide number 2.

Pick 22:  With few answers for flying at this point, Might Leap is my choice to go with.

Pick 23:  And answer number 2 with Plummet

Pick 24:  I'll take Stonehorn Dignitary to keep the opponent in check a little bit.

Pick 25:  Stave Off is all that's playable; I had room to hate, but decided against it.

Pick 26:  Well, fine, I'll take Visions of Beyond anyway.

Pick 27:  Hey, I was right.  Lifelink passed right back over.

Pick 28:  Bountiful Harvest, sure.  Why not.

Pick 29:  Thanks for Angel's Mercy

Pick 30:  Forest into pack 3.

Pick 31:  Mesa Enchantress is obvious for what I'm going for.

Pick 32:  Auramancer seems good, if I need it.

Pick 33:  Divine Favor finally comes my way.

Pick 34:  Doubling Chant with all these doubles I'm using?  OK.

Pick 35:  Tough call between Plummet and Lifelink.  Lifelink came back last time, so going for Plummet

Pick 36:  Griffin Sentinel makes sense for some reason.

Pick 37:  Battle of Growths!  This time I take Rampant Growth

Pick 38:  Despite my curve, I go for Stonehorn Dignitary again.

Pick 39:  Peregrine Griffin is really the only choice.  Runeclaw would have been a turn 2 body, but meh.

Pick 40:  Gladecover Scout is a turn 1 body, so I take it.  Looks like the curve is partially fixing itself.

Pick 41:  Reclaim is useful.

Pick 42:  Another Bountiful Harvest

Pick 43:  Gotta take my Lifelink now.

Pick 44:  YET ANOTHER Bountiful Harvest.  Well, at least I have life.

Pick 45:  Fall in a Swamp to finish things up.

Well, that's my draft; GW is kinda something I've always done, although it's weird that that's the same color combo I drafter in Kamigawa; maybe I just have good luck with GW?
I play all colours at one point but Black, Red and Blue are my favourites. Canadian, Eh! Insanity is my theme! dummy2205's Comprehensive Index of Generals
Round 1:
Garruk, Primal Hunter
Serra Angel
Greater Basilisk
Dungrove Elder
Celestial Purge
Garruk's Companion
Alabaster Mage
Oblivion Ring
Spirit Mantle
Armored Warhorse
Timely Reinforcements
Roc Egg
Personal Sanctuary
Scrambleverse
Mountain

Round 2:
Timely Reinforcements
Pacifism
Lurking Crocodile
Rampant Growth
Buried Ruin
Rootbound Crag
Fog
Cudgel Troll
Ponder
Alabaster Mage
Belltower Sphinx
Glacial Fortress
Reverberate
Stingerfling Spider
Forest

Round 3:
Mesa Enchantress
Gladecover Scout
Gideon's Lawkeeper
Llanowar Elves
Overrun
Lure
Grave Titan
Aegis Angel
Thran Golem
Acidic Slime
Roc Egg
Combust
Garruk's Horde
Sundial of the Infinite
Swamp

I went white/green as well. I hate drafted Grave Titan, Ponder and Reverberate. Though I would likely never have enough mana/time to get it out, the Basilisk or Acidic Slime/Lure/Aegis Angel combo is hilarious. Have a fair amount of enchantments so Mesa Enchantress lets me get a fair amount of card advantage. Too many big creatures though, I would have liked to have more non-land mana producing sources.
...you know, you never really appreciate just how bad the AI on these things are that Grave Titan goes seventh pick. If you open that, you splash it even if you have ten Geosurges for goodness sake! Not that M12 has geosurges, but you get the idea.
Uhm how come everyone has garruk as first pick? I can only choose Sphinx of Utluum.

I just wanted to write how annoying it is you allways get a bad first pick. On my draft there was 1 sorin, 1 gideon, 1 chandra. Riiiiight...
