Best Green cards/ Green combos?

I am looking at a mono-green (or possibly a green/white) deck. What are the best 2012 green cards and card combos?

Thanks
That all matters on what stratigy you're looking for. But the most splashable green cards in 2012 would have to be Garruk, Primal Hunter and Primeval Titan. Primordial Hydra would also probably be a bit splashable. But because of this, these 3 cards arn't only the rarest green cards in Core Set 2012, but also the most expensive. If you're more specific with your stratigy it would be easier to help point you in the right dirrection.

I'm not sure about strategy, I have only been playing for about a week!

Well, pure green typically is either Elves or beat down. On the other hand, Green/White typically uses Aura decks or Life Gain. The Core Set 2012 Green/White Intro Pack is an example of an Aura deck.

We don't have the same definition of splashable    The word I would use is probably "best".

For something fun and cheap, skinshifter.

One of the most fun things I found to do with the new green cards in 2012 is to combine a nice trampler, say [C]Carnage Wurm[/C], with [C]Titanic Growth[/C] and [C]Hunter's Insight[/C]. It's very nice to refill up to a 7-card hand late in the game while your opponent is topdecking.

I am loving this suggestion and will be trying it out as soon as possible! Thank you!

How to autocard

Most important rule in autocarding is make sure you spell the card correctly.

Excelent suggestion - plus I have those cards! Thank you!
Personally, when I look at a color I love shoring up its weaknesses. What's green weak at (relative to other colors)? Dealing with creatures. So what's a fantabulous way of dealing with them?

Vigor + Arena is simply fantastic. At worst, it pumps up one of your creatures; at best it kills one of theirs while pumping up one of yours.

Magus of the Library is based off one of the best lands ever printed, and if you're on the draw and get it out on turn 2, it'll generate a lot of card advantage. The best bit is that you don't need to include any other cards to make it work, and even if you don't get card draws off it it's still a (somewhat mediocre) mana producer.

Quillspike + Devoted Druid is a very simply combo that makes an arbitrarily huge Quillspike. Throw in some third card to take advantage of that (such as Mercy Killing in mono-green) and you've got some potential.

Eldrazi Monument + any token producer that makes at least one token per turn (ie. Master of the Wild Hunt) - one of the biggest problems with creature based decks is how vulnerable they are to board sweepers, especially if you don't have a way of recovering. Eldrazi Monument and token producers mean that your guys will be indestructible for a very long time.

Doubling Season + token producers - insane amounts of tokens. Vigor also enjoys this.

Lots of mana ramp (like Gauntlet of Power, Mana Reflection and the like) + Ant Queen - poop out insane amounts of ant tokens

Genesis - card advantage, and a lot game recursion engine.

That's just a few off the top of my head.
I'm all about super-control in MTG. If you're able to stop my shenanigans, then there aren't enough shenanigans. Lv 1 Judge Current Decklists Sweeping Beauty (Casual) A Vision of Clones (Casual) Coming soon... more decks! :-O
