-User can cancel Flameborn Helion out of attacking
oh and depnding on the design intention, this mght be a bug: xbla has unranked multiplayer they can toggle, steam and psn don't
(sorry Icant edit on Iphone)
AI often plays hasted creatures on second main phase when it wouldve been benificial to play it on the first and let it attack (now it only does so when there is no blockers I think)
-Landtapping is often done badly, making it so we can't cast another spell after casting the fist, while with more effecient tapping we could have. An option tomanually tap in any shape or form would solve any AI issues/development
(really sorry for all these posts feel free to delete them after you take notice of them, your mobile site won't allow editting)
Multiplayer quitting issues: not only don't you unlock a card, you dont gain points for your rank either
-an all systems (not only xbla) archenemy slows down after players have several cards on the table
-you have deck reveals as a bug under steam, whereas it shoud be a bug under psn and xbla if I understood you cirrectly
I dont see mentioned there that when i try to see the LEaderboards the game crashes. (on Steam)
Had a friend with the same problem and he solved it by fixing the file on cache. But when i go verify integrity of game cache.. it fails to validate 1 file, it then says it will download it again to fix this.
It does donwload 1 file for Magic 2012 , but after restart on Steam and all, still crashes on the Leaderboards.

The manual tapping of mana would def. be a great deal for players, cause i lost already a few creatures on the field cause of it.
-in 4 player ffa, portraits are mixed up/rotated one step. So I have my opponents portrait, lifetotal and cardamounts, the guy next tomme has mine etc. Very confusing.
mind control has the same issues as Yavimaya's Embrace
at least the haste aspect. haven't confirmed the issue with it returning to it's owner

and i wouldn't say it grants haste but that it doesn't cause summoning sickness. if you take control on the turn after it was cast it keeps it's summoning sickness. but if you wait until it is no longer sick then it doesn't become sick again when you steal it.
Steam version has multiplayer connect issues. any fixes?
Ruby Medalion (Red Spells cost one less colorless mana to play) not working. (I had 3 mana 2 red, 1 black, 1 Ruby Medalion an game reported insufficient mana to case spell requiring 2R and 2colorless).

Game crashed when attempting to open leaderboard (game seems to have problems in general going to desktop).

I was just getting on to say this!
The major issue is that when you click on Leaderboard, the game crashes.
A minor issue is that if I try to go to my desktop while the game is playing, the game freezes, and causes me to have to restart the entire computer.

This one you have to be careful of: If you have a Voracious Dragon in your hand and a Ruby Medallion in play, the Dragon will show it's reduced casting cost (RR2) in your hand.

At least you still go to your desktop, while im in the game nothing works for me to go to my desktop. No windows buton no CTRL-ALT-DEL ... nothing.

Its a good thing Steam allows me to go to any webpage by pressing Shift + Tab.  But when i wanna change some music im listening while playing, nothing works.

And the leaderboards, you guys tried already to verify your cache? I had a friend that managed to solve it by fixing the fail file on the game cache. Simply verify your game cache.. then it assumes the fail file, and it downloads it so it fixes... but it didnt worked out for me. (( no point on going to rank matches when i cant even see the leaderboards.
Also, Yavimaya's Embrace appears to be granting enchanted creature Haste in addition to the normal effects.

Just to follow up on this, I just now played an Archenemy game against Tezzeret. He had a Scheme put a 4/6 Golem into play and I used Yavimaya's Embrace to take control of it several turns later. It was indeed Summoning Sick when I got it. I couldn't attack with it and it had the Summoning sickness graphic (the little swirly thing) on it.

I'm on the PS3 version. That or the Archenemy format may have something to do with it.
for the 360: its not just the unlock cards being blank, its the entire deck. core and unlock cards blank. somehow now though i bought another deck key to try and get the deck back and now the core deck is still blank but i have the 16 unlock cards in my deck. so its the 16 unlock cards and the rest mana in my deck. so weird.

i sent u guys an email with steps on how to try and repeat it
 Hey guys,

The folks over at the Steam forums have their own list of bugs they ran across. Just read through the post and you'll find a couple.

forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthrea...
This one's a fun bug... Look how many Voracious Dragons there are:

Dragons! Run! (But not faster than me!)

In a single-player game of Archenemy on the Steam version, the A.I.'s use of "Ignite the Cloneforge" as a scheme when used on Voracious Dragon causes an infinite loop of using the scheme card (i.e. many, many, many dragons). Oddly enough, the dragons are then all devoured to the next clone after 5 to 7 have spawned and the cycle repeats. Note that there was at least one goblin in the AE's table sac'd to begin with.

Now I'm off to restart the match... again. ><

EDIT: Actually, for that matter, it would seem as though the Dragon card itself is a bit wonky what with my A.I. ally having cast it, sac'd nothing, and still managed to hit a creature for two damage with the on-cast ability (that should only work if goblins were sac'd).
Having issues advancing in the Archenemy Campaign. Myself and various friends on my friends list (XBLA) have defeated several guys in the campaign and around 70% of the time all or some of us wont get credit for defeating the opponent. Why?
Observed issue with Slavering Nulls where they did not cause my opponent to discard anything. (Yes, I have a Swamp.)

Entire game up to that point:

Turn 1, I go first.
+Mountain
-Island, Phantasmal Bear

Turn 2:
+Mountain
-Island, attack with bear.

Turn 3:
+Swamp, Slavering Nulls.
-Island

Turn 4:
+Mountain, Burst Lightning on bear. Attack with Nulls, opponent discards Phantom Beast.
-Island

Turn 5:
+Mountain, attack Slavering Nulls. Repulse hits my nulls. Summon Goblin Piker and resummon Slavering Nulls
-Island, Phantom Beast

Turn 6:
+Swamp, Burst Lightning on Phantom Beast, attack with both Goblin Piker and Slavering Nulls. Opponent takes 4 damage, does not discard anything.
I was recently playing a multiplayer co-op archenemy game versus Kiora Atua. I had been trying for the past 2 days to beat her and I was finally going to. I was sitting @ 90 health w/ a 37/37 vamp on the field, she only had 7 health left. Of course the AI takes forever, so I'm patiently waiting my turn to finish the match. Next thing I know, I get kicked from the match "due to inactivity"....seriously....I couldn't do anything because it was the stupid AI's turn. The "kicked due to inactivity" timer either needs to be increased or should not tick when it's the freaking AI's turn to play!!!!!
is it just me or should a lot of this stuff have been caught in testing?
I just cast Dead Reckoning on a Razorfield Rhino in my grave yard. It should have moved the Rhino from the grave yard to the top of my library but it did not. The damage portion of the card worked however.

Edit :  This was on the Steam version.
Dead Reckoning is bugged. To calculate its damage it's incorrectly using the power of the creature in the graveyard as it last existed on the battlefield. So an opponent's Steel Overseer that had a +1/+1 counter on it when it died is able to hit my Kiln Fiend for 2 damage instead of 1.

The bug may not actually be in Dead Reckoning's code, it may be in the function that grabs a card's power.
I ran into a bug against Karn with his Clockwork Dragon. I tried to take control of it with mind control and it worked, but then the game immediately froze. I'll have to try and see if it happens repeatedly, but it seems the game might not be prepared to have players control Karn's creatures.
My version of the game is xbox.
My issues from the old Bugs thread, although most are simply patch suggestions, not bugs:

A way to easily see a list of cards that we have unlocked for each deck would be nice.  Perhaps the 'Unlocked' portion of the deck editor could display all unlocked cards, greying out the ones already in the deck, but still allowing you to zoom in.  Since the game does not always tell you what cards you unlocked by beating someone this type of feature would be great for players like me who see no point in spending money to unlock decks automaticly.

Started the first Archenemy Battle, my deck is the first artifact one you get, my teamates are Koth (1) and Gideon.  The match has just started and I am allowed to keep my hand or draw a new one.  Every picture on my cards is a grey scramble, same with the pictures on my team-mates cards.  All the text is in place though.  There is also a small glittering rectangle in the center of my screen.  I say glittering cause there are blue coloured sparks flowing up around it.  The rectangle itself is just a thin black line, dead center, maybe 1/4 of the width of a card picture (when zoomed in) and its width is around a ratio of 1:5.  I will quit to the xbox dashboard and relaunch the game and submit an edit with my results.  After my reboot I started the archenemy battle with the default allies and the issue is gone.  pictures are there, glowy rectangle is gone.

Archenemy mode.  When the 'scheme' card is zoomed in on it no longer fits on screen, since the card cannot be moved up and down this leaves some players missing out ou getting a good look at the artwork, and more importantly, leaves some players without being able to read the title of the card.

Playing campaign against Koth, using the deck you get from Vol.  I have 2 swamps and 3 mountains.  The begining of my turn after playing a land my hand consisted of  2 swamps, Cruicible of Fire, and Disfigure.  My plan was to cast Crucible, attack, use Disfigure on the AI's creature when it blocked so it would die and also so it would not kill any of my creatures.  When I cast Crucible it tapped 2 swamps and 2 mountains, leaving me a mountain with which to cast my Disfigure, a very difficult feat without some much greated bug in the game.  From the looks of things the AI for the mana selection needs to be beefed up, or give us the option to choose our own mana to tap when dealing with multiple mana types.  I do not ever remember running into such an obvious mana selection error in the first game.  I just realized the mana AI's reasoning for the Mountain instead of the Swamp, Furnace Whelp was one of my 3 creatures.  It still kept me from the turn I wanted, even if it had its reasons.  Please impliment user selection regarding actions with multiple mana type selection.

In the deck editor it would be nice to be able to start from scratch, an empty deck.  I realize you cannot have a deck less than 60 cards, but for me creating a deck is always easier by picking what to add, instead of picking what to remove.  If you could make it so that it is possible to have a deck with less than sixty cards, and even zero cards it would help a lot.  Simply set the 60 card requirement to trigger when saving the deck.

[edit] Surprised it is not listed at the top, so here it is, in multiplayer you can see what deck your oppononent has/is chos(en/ing).  I realize that it does not take very long for someone to realize what deck you picked once the game gets going, but there should be no way of knowing before the match has started and the cards reveal the deck used.  Limited deck options are already giving players too much insight as to the cards one has availible, to know before the game essentially breaks it. [/edit]
The game crashes right after the intro movie, I never get the the change to play. It returns to the desktop with the message: magic_2012.exe has stopped working.

specs:

Win7 64bit
drivers up to date
hardware is way above minimum specs.
Sometimes it is difficult to select cards in my hand with the mouse on PC in Archenemy. It will skip around to the wrong cards or just not register that i'm pointing at it at all. I'm not sure if it's because the cards are smaller and harder to get the cursor over or if it's a real glitch.

This. This right fething here.

My and my friends were going to beat Garruck after 2 tries, only for me to be kicked due to inactivity. I had my eyes on the screen the whole time but just had nothing to do. Idiotic system makes me pissed as hell.
The damage distribution is stupid (XBLA German version but I guess its in all versions).

Example:

Tephraderm gets blocked by two creatures who are 2/4 and a 1/1 creature. I would deal 2 damage to each of the 2/4 creatures and let them all kill themself by Tephraderm's ability.

AI gives the whole damage to the first 2/4 creature so that the other lives on -.-

In a chalange I see a creature with deathtouch deal 3 different creatures just one point of damage, which is a smart decision, but in game its stupid... where's the sense in that?

Other point...

Can't autoskip combat animations
Can't switch off automatic phaseskipping
Can't switch off the break after cards are beeing played (I don't want to confirm every card my enemy plays -.- )
Those options where in the first game so why not in the new one?

Everything (all of it) you mention can be adjusted in the options.

e: ok except for the 1 pt of dmg on a 4 toughness creature, but that's because of MAgic Rules as explained below. But you can assign order of dmg.
I don't think that anyone has posted this, but if they have, I aplogize.

Xbox Version: In a archenemy match, if you are zoomed in on a card and someone plays a card, you can't unzoom until that card has finished resolving. This is bad for people on the same console, as the zoom makes it so if you have to make choices, you can't see what you're doing.
Tephraderm gets blocked by two creatures who are 2/4 and a 1/1 creature. I would deal 2 damage to each of the 2/4 creatures and let them all kill themself by Tephraderm's ability.

Note that you can't actually do what you want to do according to the rules of the game. When more than one creature blocks yours, you decide the order in which you want to assign damage to those blockers. Then, when the time comes to assign damage, you must assign lethal damage to the first creature in that order before assigning any to the second, lethal to the second before you can assign any to the third, and so on. And since Tephraderm's ability won't trigger until damage is dealt, the damage it will end up dealing to those creatures isn't going to be considered in the damage count. So if you order the blockers 2/4, 2/4, 1/1, you need to assign all 4 damage to the first 2/4--you can't assign any to the second 2/4.

The AI is actually making the smartest decision available to it...within the bounds of its parameters. As far as it's concerned, you can either kill off a 2/4 or kill off a 1/1 and deal nonlethal damage to a 2/4, and of those two options, the former is better. It doesn't consider what will happen after combat damage is dealt.

Because frankly, being here depresses me these days.

I've noticed a problem with Hunters' Feast while in archenemy (xbox). The card, by its description, is suppose to give players of my choice 6 life. However I don't get to choose who gets the life and instead everyone gets the life. I've only used that card during archenemy so I'm not sure if it happens else where.
Im not so sure if this is a bug or not, but when i play for real with my friends..

Well heres the thing.. I can´t remember if it was a creature or what but an hability was casted and it said to destroy 3 cards of mine, being one of those an artifact. I think it was 2 creatures and one artifact.
Since i  had NO artifact in game, and I was counting on the second round next to this hability to get a second creature, surprise surprise, an artifact came up when no artifact was destroyed.
It ruined the match for me.

When i play with my gang , if it says put on top of your library whatever it was destroyed, we do so, but if it didnt destroyed some of the cards included on the hability, then we dont put it there on the library. Are we playing wrong rules or is this a bug from the game?????
PC version: idle timer still counts down even after you've blocked an attack. Not sure if mousing over and zooming in on cards will reset it or not.
In free-for-all when an opponent uses Gideon's Lawkeeper to tab one of my creatures during my first main phase, my main phase ends shortly after(a blue bar is displayed, as if i whould have clicked continue). This is really annoying if i want to move equipment from the tabbed creature to another creature, or play other cards during my main phase for that matter.

In multiplayer games when I use right-click to equip equipment nothing happens, but if I use zoom to equip then everyting works fine. Right-click equip works fine in single player.

I play on PC.
Think this may be a bug rather than my mis interpretation, but need to check.

Played Aether mutation on an opponents phantom beast. Phantom beast went to graveyard as expected, but i did not get any tokens from this, is this because it ended up in graveyard rather than hand as stated on card, so didn't trigger the tokens?
Have successfully got tokens though when playing it on other opponents creatures though.

This was on xbox btw.

The beast was send due to the targetting of the spell already, so the beast was in the graveyard before the spell resolved. Aether mutation fizzled as a consequence, as it lost it's target.
I have earlier reported that entering the Leaderboard caused the game to crash every time I tried to look at it.
Yesterday it worked without any problems.

I don't know if anyone else have problems with this, but it worked for me yesterday.
Abilitys on cards like elvish piper, lavamancer wont go off no matter when or how i try to pull it off.
I have done several re-installations on top of doing every possible change in settings without any success.

The game stalls and i get "game is syncing" when using almost any card with an ability on it and then it resets
without ever doing anything, this problem only occours in multiplayer.

I have seen other players use mentioned cards without any issues, this only occours for me it seems.
Game also crashes repeatedly, lags a ton and blocking a 7/7 with my 7/11 shroud and 8/8 tidemaster gets
my guys killed for no apparent reason against the Archenemy.
The buttons displayed in settings for continuation and team/all chat are also incorrect.

Mentioned issues are not acceptable and ruins the experience in multiplayer.
