Rakehell Duelist and Slaying Action

I have a level 12 Tempest Fighter/Rogue Rakehell Duelist that I am playing for the first time this weekend and need an assist on figuring out some corner cases:

Rakehell Duelist:
Main Gauche Action (11th level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you can make a melee basic attack with an off-hand weapon as a free action before or after the extra action.

Slaying Action:
Benefit: If you spend an action point to take an extra action and have already dealt Sneak Attack damage during this round, you can deal the extra damage a second time during this turn.

If I miss on my normal Standard action and then spend an Action Point to attack, can both the extra action and the Main Gauche attack deal Sneak Attack damage?

Does the timing of when I spend an Action Point affect the Slaying Action trigger?
They both trigger at the same time, and will check to see if they are valid when triggered. So Slaying Action will not activate to give you a second sneak attack.
