Hello all.

I'm playing Castle Ravenloft Board Game in Japan. I think it's a gread Borad game.

I have elementary question of Rules [Activate each Monster and Trap Card].
My understanding, when I play solo games, these will activate every Villains phase.

I want to reconfirm these rule for Party attack [2 - 5 Players].

(1) Does all monster activate every Villains Phase?
  example:
     a. On PL1 Hero Phase
         - PL1 move unexplored edge space.
     b. On PL1 Exploration Phase
         - PL1 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL1 draw Skelton.
     c. On PL1 Villain Phase
         - Skelton attack PL1.
     d. On PL2 Hero Phase
         - PL2 attack Skelton and miss.
         - PL2 move unexplored edge space.
     e. On PL2 Exploration Phase
         - PL2 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL2 draw Zombie-A.
     f. On PL2 Villain Phase
         - Zombie-A attack PL2
         - Skelton attack PL1.
     g. On PL3 Helo Phase
         - PL3 attack Skelton and miss.
         - PL3 move unexplored edge space.
     h. On PL3 Exploration Phase
         - PL3 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL3 draw Zombie-B.
     i. On PL3 Villain Phase,
         - Zombie-A and Zombie-B attack PL3
         - Zombie-A and Zombie-B attack PL2,
         - Skelton attack PL1,

(2) Does all Trap activate every Villains Phase?

I think that I'm not good at english and make very easy misunderstanding or oversight.
Would you point out these? :-)

Regards,
As far as I remember, Monsters and Trap cards are only activated during the villian phase of the player, which drawn the Card. If player 1 has drawn the Zombie, this Zombie only activates during the villian Phase of Player 1. Normaly you activate Traps and Monsters exactly in the same order as you have drawn them. So if Player 1 has drawn a Skeleton and later has drawn a Trap he has to active first the Skeleton in the villan Phase and then the Trap. If more then one monster of the same kind is on the map, then you have to activate all monsters of the same kind.

example:
     a. On PL1 Hero Phase
         - PL1 move unexplored edge space.
     b. On PL1 Exploration Phase
         - PL1 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL1 draw Skelton.
     c. On PL1 Villain Phase
         - Skelton attack PL1.
     d. On PL2 Hero Phase
         - PL2 attack Skelton and miss.
         - PL2 move unexplored edge space.
     e. On PL2 Exploration Phase
         - PL2 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL2 draw Zombie-A.
     f. On PL2 Villain Phase
         - Zombie-A attack PL2
     g. On PL3 Hero Phase
         - PL3 attack Skelton and miss.
         - PL3 move unexplored edge space.
     h. On PL3 Exploration Phase
         - PL3 draw New dungeon tile.
         - PL3 draw Zombie-B.
     i. On PL3 Villain Phase,
         - Zombie-A attack PL2
         - Zombie-A attack PL3

The exception of this rule are the villians like Lord Strahl or the Bone Dragon. These Special Monsters are activated during each Villian Phase of each Hero.

Dera TrueShoba san,

Thanks for your reply. I understood.
Humm... I had better to make turn record and marker like D&D 4th session. :-)

I want to reconfirm one more...

>     h. On PL3 Exploration Phase
>         - PL3 draw New dungeon tile.
>         - PL3 draw Zombie-B.
>     i. On PL3 Villain Phase,
>         - Zombie-A attack PL2
>         - Zombie-A attack PL3

(1) PL3 is attaced by Zombie-B instead of Zombie-A, right?
(2) In this turn, if
Zombie-A is nearer Other PL than PL2 or PL2 stay off 2 tiles and over,
Zombie-A react based on his action list, right?
