Overcharge Question

You gain a bonus to overcharge from your origin

do you only gain the bonus from your primary?
do you gain it from both?
if both do they stack ?
I was under the impression they stacked, but I think I've seen others claim otherwise.

Comments anyone? Page #?
The rule is that you only gain the Overcharge bonus from your Primary Origin.

This has created some confusion for the Engineered Human, because although this origin has an Overcharge bonus, it is supposedly always a Secondary Origin. Which means the bonus is never added. Which everyone agrees makes no sense.

But to answer your question: primary only, no, they do not stack.

Cheers.

This comes from page 34.

I stand by the EH line is included so there is a rule for people house ruling.

Yes.

No, and no.

Of course, it can be a primary origin if you're using the 'players choose primary & roll secondary' or 'players choose both - the big chickens' alternatives from the sidebar.  So it really shouldn't have created that much confusion.

Oops, looks like this request tried to create an infinite loop. We do not allow such things here. We are a professional website!

Also, if you decide to house rule that they stack, go for it. It's your game after all.
IF I were to allow secondary origins to contribute, I would have them give HALF their bonus (that is, +1) and have it stack.
