I am happy that Jund is still the top deck. IMHO a $200 or less deck is a far better "boogeyman" than a $700 planeswalker deck. Plus for those who say that there is no strategy to Jund they can see the variance between Jund builds and see that players have some real options when playing Jund. Their wins and losses will be based on their choices do they set up a build for spreading seas with sedraxis specter in the sideboard or do they go with the agressive two drops etc...Even with Jund pulling the most invites this looks to be a diverse format which is what people were clamoring for pre rise of eldrazi. So while some things haven't changed e.g. Jund taking the most prizes I don't think people should be upset to face Jund fields like they have in the past.
The good news: UWr mythic-infested Superpals isn't really that good. The bad news: Vengevine has awakened, and it's not that Mythic conscription is that far away from Planeswalkers.
Jund is not good.

You're missing it because *turns Storm Crows sideways* all your base are belong to Chuck Norris and every other overused meme ever.

Jund is not good. You know that this is an overstatement. If you feel that it is not, then what came out that makes it all of a sudden "not good".
Jund is not good.magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=89...Put these numbers in perspective. Jund had 3x as many invites as UWr. Jund is played *ten times* as much as UWr (by our estimates online, and I dare say it's likely to be even more the case in paper Magic). That means that UWr is actually about 3 times more likely thna Jund to give you a top 8 finish.Jund only makes so many top 8s because everybody is playing it. It might be the deck to beat (because if you can't beat it, it means you'll lose to the throngs of people who haven't yet got the memo that it's junk), but it's certainly not the one you should pick for yourself.
Well, Jund is more affordable to the general public (on how much they're willing to spend), and times aren't say, fantastic right now.Jund is more or less evidence that the economy is affecting Magic. But to say Jund isn't good its an understatement. The fact that plenty of pros out there still choose it as compared to many other budget choices means it still has much calibre of its own. It is no longer that dumb "Bloodbraid Elf - Blightning" deck.
