Star Wars NPC: Agent of Ossus

As a resource for SAGA games, I present some of my NPC's, for use and abuse in your home games.  These entries are made as close to the rules as possible, with the only "house-rule" being a fractional accounting for Base Attack bonus.

Tactics
Again more of a support character the Agent of Ossus is a NPC type that gradually shifts as it levels up.

At low levels, the agent is a melee fighter taking opportunity to attack force users from surprise if possbile.  At 3rd level they use precience liberally to aim and obtain effective attacks.

From levels 4-11 the Agents pick up ranged weapons, playing a sort of subtle guard to someone.  These agents will try to blend into a crowd or create a deceiving appearance to seem ordinary, and combine combat trickery with insightful aim and precience to get off the most effective attacks possible. Stealth and surprise favor heavily into their tactics, especially a sort of attack and fade concept, resulting in multiple encounters over the course of an area.

At level 12 the Agent begins to develop a more direct combat focus.  The first round begins to become very important, culminating in improved quickdraw and swift shot for a mobile and vicious set of early rounds.  Couple with that their use of shatter point to create devestating blasts to PC's and technometry to create unique battlefield conditions.  The ability to issue a routine command to a closed system means they can close and lock a door to seperate a group of PC's, activate engines to burn a PC, etc.  The inclusion of far seeing helps to both explain how advance planning can be detected and gives some flavor to a frinedly NPC.

At level 17 the Agent should develop a relationship with some other characters and is rarely encoutnered alone.  At this poitn it is the Agent that is the leader. Using Force directed shot along with improved cloak the Agent can create attacks coming from impossible angles, while the followers attack more directly, saving force points for the most critical of strikes.  Adaptable talent adds some variety and capability for the same Agent, keeping PC's on their toes.

One thing to consider is that I have purposefully not given this character skill Focus (UtF).  if you feel it is needed strongly, replace bad feeling with it.  However, it seemed to me that part of the allure of this character's buried presence is that the Agent is not a god like force figure.
