Please use this thread to report any bugs related to the new default theme rollout on March 3rd.  E.g. button styles, column width, text overlap. Please specify which theme you are using. Thanks!

I'm not certain it's theme related, but it's happened in just the last few hours, so it's a decent guess: the mouseover card images for autocard tags no longer seems to be working, and the little bust icon beneath each user's avatar overlaps with their user name. I'm using the current default Wizards Community theme.

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

We seem to of lost the ability to see full sized images during our Play-by-Post games in the Avalon Hill game forums. Its a real issue as the map scales are such that we must enlarge them to acquire details and hex addresses. Our old links to the full sized images still work but we cannot enlarge anything new. So I guess we need our click to see full sized image button back.

Most of us use the Avalon Hill, Axis and Allies theme.

Thanks for all the good work you folks are doing to improve the site.

PS - Icon button is gone on the post frame for the expanded smilies. Any chance there could be just one button for smilies?

Zammm, they did make a change to how the tags work. The images center directly on the word now instead of floating. I'm interested in how people like that - once we get it working for you, of course. What browser/version are you using?

We're looking into the full size image issue - Is this on the group photo gallery?

I'm seeing the second smiley image. What browser/version are you using?

Hi Michelle,

I posted a hex map and a brief explanation in this thread: community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...

Cheers

It's working now; I just upgraded to FF 3.6.14. Looks good, and now there shouldn't be an issue with the mouseover image being offscreen, so that's great.

All of the following comments are using the new default community skin: (Which looks great, by the way.)

There a bunch of wasted space in the bust-icon dropdowns; there's a gap of over a centimeter (on my screen, anyway) between the left edge of the dropdown and the text area.

The postbit itself is also too wide; it probably shouldn't be much larger than required to display the user's "Date Joined", or else it just has a huge gap between the user's avatar and the post contents. I have five badges under my avatar, so they take up way more space than most users' postbits take up, and there's still a large gap between the postbit of my posts and the post contents.

There's superfluous cell padding on dropdown menus like the Jump menu and the This forum/All forum box for searches.

The new buttons look great, but the ones that appear at the top of threads and forums (New Thread, Post Reply, et cetera) are probably too small; in fact, they're smaller than the buttons that appear above each post within a thread (Multiquote, Quote, etc.). If anything, it should be the other way around. Also, it looks like not all of them are the same color; the Multiquote, Quote, etc. buttons appear to be dark gray normally and don't change on mouseover, as do the My Groups and Create Group buttons on the Group page, the Search Blogs and Reset button on the Blogs page, the Go button for the locator on the Featured page.

The name of the current group in the left-hand sidebar above the group's avatar is in unbolded regular text; it should probaly be in larger bold text.

When looking at a forum with multiple categories (such as the Magic section), the colors of the sections headers alternate between dark gray and a lighter gray. This might not be a problem, except that the lighter gray is the same color as is used on alternate forums. So every second section header seems to "disappear" into the listing for the forum either above or below it.

The names of forums in a forum listing are unbolded links; they should probably be in bold.

One more general comment before I forget, since AH_Ober's sig reminded me--this isn't particular to a given skin. Currently, if an image in a thread is too big to fit within the normal width of the page, all of the posts on the page are widened to fit, which might mean you have to scroll back and forth to read each post. If that effect can somehow be limited to the post that contains the image, it would be appreciated. That way the experience of reading the rest of the thread doesn't have to suffer because of one too-wide image.

For some reason, the 'Cancel' button for the Quick Reply box on the new theme has its text in blue rather than black, and the mouseover text is black.

Good point Zammm. It can be irritating at times scrowling back and forth when reading.
