We are starting to roll out some of the popular BBCode from the old forums. We have probably missed some variations in it, so please use this thread to post any bugs with card, deck, smiley, or other BBCode translation. Please include links to examples. Thanks!

Deck Tag Bug You can't list a double digit quantity. It takes the first digit and then makes the second digit part of the card name. Any autocard that uses a non-english character besides Æ ends up in a strange string of code. Also, any cardname that has a non-english character in it (like Legions of Lim-Dûl) won't work if you type it's english equivalent ( Legions of Lim-Dul ).
Legions of Lim-Dûl = Legions of Lim-Dûl
edit - Okay, it didn't cause a string of html-like text this time, but it did last time I tested it. Still might want to make the English equivalent work, for people who don't have European keyboards. edit2 - Aha, maybe there's a difference between c and card that causes the string error. Legions of Lim-Dûl = Legions of Lim-Dûl
edit3 - Success! Or lacktherof. You get my drift. Also, the deck tag autocards everything after the 1, excluding spaces (edit - and asterisks). This means 1x Whatever 1xWhatever don't work.

I think if it's on it's own line, it breaks. Legions of Lim-Dûl = Legions of Lim-D ûl

When posting smilies, the parser seems to cut off as soon as any code is recognized. Thus, if a longer code starts out with a smaller code, it appears the longer one will be cut off, like so: Also, only some of the smilies from the list I gave you are working, Michelle--is that intentional, an oversight, or just a work in progress?
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real. --Erin McKean, Redefining the Dictionary

Whoops, looks like autocard and the smilies that were already up just broke somehow.

And the quote tags. The quote tags broke up, too. (Look at the byline of this quote.)

[CARD]
Through the ages, many would wonder "Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?" I wonder "Does the art of discourse on the internet imitate the art of discourse in life or does the art of discourse in life imitate the art of discourse on the internet?"
