You Build the Character #18 - Princess Leia

This contest is now closed.

Hi everyone, and welcome back to You Build the Character. This month's competition is to build Her Highnessness, Leia Organa Solo, Princess of Alderaan and proverbial kisser of Wookiees. You have until 11.59pm (PT) on Thursday 24 March to post your RPG stats, and any notes you want to post explaining your decisions. Once submissions have closed, all forum members will have until 11.59pm (PT) on Thursday 31 March to vote for their favourite. Whichever build receives the most votes will win.

The prize for winning is having your stats enshrined in the YBtC Hall of Fame, as well as the bragging rights.

The following rules apply to all submissions:

  1. All builds must be created according to RAW, with no house rules (no single Athletics skill, no bonus feats for bloodlines etc).

  2. You may use "unlimited" point buy for Leia's ability scores, provided each score is between 3 and 18 at first level (before racial and age adjustments).

  3. You are free to use material from all official Saga Edition books, up to and including The Unknown Regions.

  4. Your stats may represent Princess Leia at any point during her life, or serve as an overall interpretation of the character as a whole. You may even include multiple stats to represent multiple points in time, provided they are all different level versions of the same build (ie no swapping out talents or feats).

  5. Princess Leia is a Human, and as such uses the Human species traits provided on page 23 of the core rulebook.

  6. You may change your stats at any point up until submissions close, at which point any edited stats will be disqualified.

You can follow this competition on Twitter, and get a message every time a new build is posted. Just follow @YBtCContests.

Have fun everyone, and may the Force be with you. Smile

Ah, Princess Leia. This should be fun :D

I decided to do the classic Princess Leia. She's feisty, very hard to intimidate or interrogate, but not physically tough (knocked flat by a stun blast, after all). I'm not sure if she actually understands Chewbacca in that first movie. Doesn't seem like it, but by the time she levels up and takes an Int increase she'll get Linguist for free. So without further ado...

Come and see my Star Wars Character Gallery! Please add a comment Winner of You Build the Character #26 Bounty Hunters Winner of YBtC #39 A New Hope
Greetings,

I went a very different route for the feisty princess. A friend and I sat down and worked on this together for several hours over a pizza, describing what we saw Leia do in the movies. We both came to the same conclusion. Compared to what we see her do, in relation to the various talents and feats, she didn't act like a noble at all, or at least very little. Instead, she acted more like a scoundrel and a soldier than anything else, especially in A New Hope. In the following movies, we see more and more of that feisty and unorthodox style of hers.

For the stats, I diverged off my normal 32 point buy and did a random generation. The stats we came up with were 18, 16, 13, 13, 12, 12. In a point buy, this would relate to a 44 point buy.

And without further delay, here she is ...

Princess Leia Organa (end of Episode IV: A New Hope)
Human Female; Scoundrel 2, Soldier 3
Force 7, Dark Side 0, Destiny 5 (discovery: child of Anakin)
Init: 9; Senses: Perception: 9

Ranged: Sporting Blaster Pistol atk: +6 dmg: 3D4+2
Ranged: Blaster Rifle Atk: +6 Dmg: 3D8+2
Base Attack: +4 Grp: +5
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atributes: Str 12, Dex 14, Con 12, Int 16, Wis 14, Cha 18
Talents: Labyrinthine Mind, Harms Way, Draw Fire
Feats: WP (Pistols, Simple, Rifles), AP (light), Point Blank Shot, Force Sensative,
Predictive Defense, quick draw, Fight through Pain.

Possessions: Sporting Blaster Pistol.

ok, when we first see her, she is programming Artoo, then covers for his escape by distracting the Stormies. She is clearly trained in deception. Although her deception fails against Vader on her ship, I would say she succeeded against Tarkin later. She later shows great skill in persuasion and deception in the later movies, but for now this is focusing on what we see in A New Hope. She also resists the mind probe. During the trench scene, Leia covers for Luke, drawing fire from the Stormies and using the Blaster Rifle with a good degree of Skill. In many of the combat scenes through out the movies, she is covering someone: Artoo, Luke, Lando, and Han at some point in time. One reason for starting out as a Scoundrel is that she doesn't act like a Noble. She acts more like a scoundrel, which is one reason why I think Han got so attracted to her.

and now for the next phase ....

Princess Leia Organa (end of Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back)
Human Female; Scoundrel 3, Soldier 3, Noble 1, Officer 1, Crime Lord 3

I know .. I know .. Crime Lord?? CRIME LORD?? Princess Leia a Crime Lord?? Think about it though. It really shows off in Hoth Base, and later on Bespin as everyone is withdrawing. Also the way she stands over Lando while Chewie is choking the life out of him just screams for it. Then she bosses Chewie around and he follows like without question. Although she's not a Crime Lord in the strictest sense with a criminal empire, she does act like one.

And onwards!!!

Possessions: Sporting Blaster Pistol, Blaster Rifle, Ubese Armor.
Completed Destiny: Discovery (+1 to defenses)

Now, we have her at the end of Return of the Jedi. My friend and I sat down and noticed how she seemed to attract Wicket, almost as a minion. Through Threepeo's expertise, she's able to attract more. I thought about giving her piloting instead of Use the Force, but Use the Force made more sense in the long run, especially at the end, and shortly after in the EU. Another question that might arise is why go with scoundrel and not take Stealth. Simply, she's not that skilled in Stealth. We see her use it maybe twice, once on her ship in A New Hope, and again in Jabba's palace. Both instances are more like she's using it untrained rather than skill.

So, there we have the good princess.

I couldn’t resist a peek, and I am so glad I did. These are all really amazing portrayals of Lea.  Not to take anything away from these awesome entries but… Wow, I mean really… wow Quvmoh. Your astute observations and explanation of Lea are unbelievably awesome! ;)

Quvmoh could you please list the books were I can find the talents.

I love the build other than the 44 point build

Thank you for the compliments.

To explain the attributes, we actually had multiple sets. We did a couple point buy sets, one at 32 point buy, and another at 36. We also did three random generations. This is the one we chose because we felt it best represented Princess Leia.

As for the talents and their locations:

SECR:

Harms Way, Draw Fire, Inspire Fear I, Adept Negotiator, Attract Minion, Deployment Tactics, Born Leader.

Galaxy of Intrigue:

Revolutionary Rhetoric

Scum and Villainy:

Labyrinthine Mind,  Tactical Superiority, Tactical Withdraw,  Wealth of Allies.

I noticed you left out languages was that intentional
no, it wasn't intentional. Just an oversight. I'll add them later as I make corrections. She would have have at least 5 known languages. Not sure which ones yet to choose.

okay, updated the langauges

I chose High Galactic cause of her being a Senator. I chose gran and ithorese because Bail Organa in episode 2 was able to understand the Gran Senator. Logic would say he taught Leia. And according to wookiepedia, she visited ithor as a child. So it stands to reason that she learned it as well.

During Episode 5, it seemed like she could understand Chewbacca. I also chose Mon Cal and Bothese since they were allies of the Rebellion. It would stand to reason that she would know their languages.

In episode 6, she's speaking to Jabba in Ubese, and even tho Threepio is translating for Jabba and her, we see another come up to her and speak what I assume is Huttese, given the locale, and she responds in Ubese as if she understands.

Looks like some good builds all-around. Looking forward to seeing some more entries.

I'd toss one out there, but Leia is just not an interesting character to me, at least not interesting enough to conjure up stats for.

I feel that what makes Leia interesting is her personality, which is very difficult to translate into a statblock. There's no feat for being "Spunky."

Ooh, the princess in the gold bikini, every geek's wet dream come true, lol. I've been working on some "Ultimate" versions of the Heroes of Yavin using all the books and some house rules so I'm gonna try tweaking my Leia to enter.

A side note, I really enjoyed everybody's Revan builds, though I wasn't interested in entering myself. I only missed voting because of the reeeaaalllllyyyy, spotty, crappy, bad and recently intermittent and even missing wireless internet service were I go. Good work on the winning entry HeartofJuyo.

There`s my build.I gave Leia a level in scoundrel because in the New Hope she seemed a bit
more combatative than a straight up noble. And since she suprised those stormtroopers
early in the film and killed one of them in a sneak attack,I decieded to give her the talent
Sneak Attack. And if you wonder why she is trained in Use the Force,I did it to represent

Explainations:
"'Your mother is a powerful Jedi—az strong in her way as you are in yourz.'

―Saba Sebatyne to Jacen Solo about Leia

Leia was known as an expert shot with a blaster.

Though Leia would originally follow in her mothers footsteps, becoming a shrewd politician, she possessed many other talents. Indeed, Leia would eventually follow the path of her father and brother, becoming a Jedi of considerable skill; both with the Force and a lightsaber.

During her first term as senator, she was taught self-defense and combat skills by Giles Durane, a weapons master and friend of Bail Organa. Leia was an excellent marksman, missing rarely, if ever, with a blaster.

Leia was a skilled tactician who was involved in the planning of several important engagements during the various galactic conflicts of her time.

As of 2 ABY, Leia Organa admitted she did not know how to swim.

Though hesitant about her Jedi training, Leia was later taught various Force techniques, and she eventually became a full-fledged member of the New Jedi Order. Being the daughter of Anakin Skywalker, it was theorized that her full Force potential might have been the same as her brother Luke's. Under Jedi Master Saba Sebatyne, Leia dramatically increased her Force powers and skill with a lightsaber, to the point that Sebatyne believed her to be the equal of any Jedi Knight.

A short time after having learnt of her Force-sensitivity in 4 ABY, Leia was able to use the Force to sense her brother's presence, confirming he had survived the destruction of the second Death Star. During the Swarm War, Leia was able to use her much increased connection to the Force, having become the student of Master Sebatyne, to sense the whereabouts of Alema Rar by distinguishing between the powerful Living Force presences on the planet Tenupe, which contrasted sharply with Alema's hidden presence.

In 10 ABY, Leia helped her brother defeat Palpatine through the use of her natural talent with battle meditation; at this time Leia had little Force training and her ability to use such a powerful Force power is indicative of her strength in the Force.

Still untrained, Leia was able to shield her infant son Anakin, from Palpatine's disembodied spirit, preventing the Sith Lord from possessing the child.

Leia was skilled in the use of Force Push, Force Pull and Saber throw powers, as well as in using the Force to plant herself firmly in place. Leia exhibited a talent for telekinetically controlling the air paths taken by fog, being able to manipulate it at great speeds, allowing the Millennium Falcon to race through it without losing visibility prior to the onset of the Dark Nest crisis. In 40 ABY, Leia was able to telekinetically hold the Millennium Falcon together, against the pressure caused as it crashed through the atmosphere of Coruscant. However, it took the combined might of Leia, Jaina and Jacen to ultimately land the severely damaged ship with the Force.

Although strong in telekinesis, Leia was not very good with levitation. In 43.5 ABY, she strained in moving Jedi Knight Warv and could not divide her attention to Han when he said that two apprentices had left their robes behind.

Leia was adept at battle meditation.

After training under Master Sebatyne, Leia's skills with a lightsaber became formidable; allowing her to hold her own against, and severely injure, the much younger Alema Rar on several occasions. Even before her official training, Leia proved capable of defeating the centuries old and fully trained Dark Jedi Beldorion in a fierce lightsaber duel. Despite her grief over the supposed death of her brother, Leia proved capable of dueling Tahiri Veila; indeed, it was the intervention of Han Solo alone that made Leia spare the aspiring Sith apprentices life.

Like the other Jedi of her family, Leia demonstrated a talent for participating in Force Melds. Notably Leia participated in a battle meld with her daughter, Master and Zekk during the battle of Tenupe.

Leia was capable of telepathic feats; being able to communicate through the Force with her brother at a seemingly limitless range. Leia also demonstrated an ability to reach out to others in the Force to read their feelings or emotions. During her interrogation during the Swarm War, Leia was able to telepathically read the mind of her interrogator so as to learn his name and unnerve him.

During her third duel with Alema Rar, Leia was temporarily able to fool Alema into relinquishing her weapon; an exceptional achievement against a fully trained Jedi Knight. Leia proved able to use Jedi mind tricks on troopers who attempted to arrest her during the funeral of her sister-in-law."

Ugh I'm torn... Leia is just one of those important characters that I can't bring myself to build.  Let's see what I can come up with.

I'm in the same boat. As much as I enjoy building characters, I don't think I can do Leia any better or any different than those who have already contributed. I'll just enjoy seeing what everyone else comes up with.

Now once we get to building Grievous, Dooku, Nute Gunray, etc., that's when I'll have my fun. :D

Leia was rescued by Galen Marek and was instrumental in forming the Rebel Alliance.  She had received training in combat techniques and soldiery, but even in combat her presence could not be stiffled, so she quickly assumed the mantle of leadership.

She is still a respected memebr of the Galactic community at this time, with power and influence amongst the senate and other powerful organizations.  She will invoke her position liberally  if she feels she can gain leverage, and is nearly immune to coersion.

AfterThe destruction of Alderaan and her relationship to the rebellion fully exposed Leia began investing her energies in the operations of the Rebel Alliance.  She began fulfilling mor and more tactical leadership and became a beloved symbol of the rebellion, almost as much as Luke.

When I and my friends sit down we want a game of heroic fantasy. Rare is the moment when I have cried out in a video game or RPG "that's unrealistic." (Unless there is no jump button. Seriously makes me mad, single handedly ruined the N64 zelda series for me, but that's a digression of a digression.) I mean, we play games with the force in galaxies far, far away, with supernatural horrors, dragons and demi-gods, alternate cosmologies, etc. Reality and it's effects hold little sway to what makes a Heroic fantasy game fun IMO. Just repeat after me: You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are not how much you've spent on WotC products. You are not whatever RPG you play. You are one of tens of thousands of people that spend money on a hobby. You will not always get what you want
I decided to go for a 'life-portrait' as it were for Leia up until Episode VI - I may continue it further, but here is my entry as of now:

Episode IV Notes
I started Leia with a 32 PB - while a major character, she is one that doesn't feel overly spread out in terms of abilities to justify a higher PB.

Classes: Noble/Soldier is due to her senatorial upbringing, coupled with the combat training Bail Organa insisted she undertook study in.

Talents: Leia is noted to be a rich princess, so Wealth seems fitting (I also find it entertaining that I've given a major character that talent ;) ). Know Your Enemy allows Leia to determine her opponents strengths/weaknesses, though it is really more to buy in a later talent that I wanted her to have. Devastating Attack (Pistols) is to demonstrate that she can punch through armour (ie. beating the armours Equipment bonus to Fort Defence) reliably with pistols - I would have gone for Penetrating Attack, but the mechanics don't match the way armour really works in SE.

Feats: Force Sensitivity and Strong in the Force represent her Skywalker heritage. Nothing else particularly special here except for Martial Arts I (again reflects her martial training), while Weapon Focus (Pistols) shows her markmanship with those weapons. Skill Focus (Deception) is here as she would have to have been talented at deceiving her opponents in order to maintain her cover as a member of the Rebel Alliance.

Skills: Mostly social skills (Deception, Persuasion, Perception) and knowledge skills. Pilot and Use Computer are here as she is a capable pilot and has plotted hyperspace jumps (or will demonstrate it - she pilots the Falcon in Ep. V), so these need to be included. Use the Force is listed here as she has access to that skill, but it is an untrained modifier.

Episode V Notes
Classes: She now has levels in the Crime Lord PrC - this is more than suitable for a senator and officer in terms of general concept. As everyone often says: class=/=concept after all... ;)

Talents: The buy in talent from before pays dividends here for the one I truly wanted - Known Dissident. This shows the fact that people do not take the opportunity to finish Leia off when they have the chance - she is now a known rebel and she may as well take advantage of the fact. Leia also manages to spur her allies on, driving them to greater levels of ability, which I represented with Impel Ally I.

Feats: Nothing special again. Point Blank Shot to show her markmanship again (and also works with Rifles) and Skill Focus (Persuasion) as she is now actively recruiting for the Rebel Alliance.

Dark Side: Some people may wonder why she now has a DSS of 1. My reasoning is the fact that she seemed a very eager to watch Lando suffer at the hands of Chewbacca and would have let him (Lando) die were it not for the information he provided - OK it is questionably evil and may not be worth a DSS increase, but she is Force Sensitive I think it is more important than normal for such characters...

Episode VI Notes
Talents: I continued to give Leia the Impel Ally series to further demonstrate the amount she can support her friends and allies. Tactical Superiority is also useful to show Leia's command abilities along the 'Officer-type' route.

Feats:
Skill Focus (Perception) is the only addition here as she has had to sharpen her senses to detect any deceptions levelled at her - something that happens with depressing regularity.

Destiny Bonus: I decided that it was Leia's destiny to rescue the love of her life from Jabba the Hutt, so she gained the completed destiny bonus for that. Her current destiny is Liberation of the Noghri from the Empire's clutches, though that will not be fulfilled for a while.

Yuuzhan Vong War notes
Classes: She hasn't levelled up much from Return of the Jedi up until the start of the Yuuzhan Vong War, but then (comparitively) she hasn't seen as much in the way of conflict since that time either. Instead she focused on her senatorial duties as Chief of State of the New Republic (I'm a fan of Darth Traya's philosophy on this one - ie. it is conflict that strengthens us, avoidance that weakens us) - equally as important, but IMHO from a levelling perspective it doesn't warrant as much of a change. Those levels she does have are in the Jedi class as Luke started her on the Jedi path.

Talents: Deflect and Redirect Shot are here as Luke taught her the basics of blaster deflection and Leia does send those bolts back at her opponents on occasion.

Feats: Force Training as she has learned to use the Force somewhat by this time. Weapon Proficiency (Lightsabres) is the Jedi multiclassing feat as Leia, though not a great duellist yet, is proficienct in the use of a lightsabre. Melee Defence represents her defensive abilities while she uses a sabre and Fight Through Pain as her resistance to damage is largely due to her phenominal willpower than anything else (proved when she managed to remain conscious when Warmaster Tsavong Lah brought an amphistaff down on her legs repeatedly).

Skills: Leia is now trained in Use the Force through the Intelligence score increase at 12th level. She has yet to embrace her destiny in becoming a Jedi and her skills, though powerful, are yet to be fully realised (so no Skill Focus (Use the Force) yet).

Force Powers: Farseeing as she has seen aspects of the past/future at times and Inspire represents her ability to bolster the will of her allies. Mind Trick and Move Object are also here as these are perhaps her most commonly used powers by this time.

Destiny: By this time, she has liberated the Noghri from the Empire's deceptions and has thus gained a bonus to all her defences. Her current destiny isn't fully obvious at this time, though it is likely the Force has at least one more in store for her.

Here is my take on Her Highnessness

Leia Organa, Senator
Medium Adult Human Noble 3
Force: 6   Destiny: 2 (Champion of the Alliance)
Init: +2   Senses: Perception +7
Languages: Basic, Bothese, Calamarian, High Galactic, Ithorese
Background Planet: Alderaan (trained in social sciences and language High Galactic)

Equipment: expensive clothes, sport blaster pistol, data card (DS-1 battle station plans)

Here is Leia as of her capture aboard the Tantive 4. She knows how to use a blaster in a fight, but is physically normal, not weak. Her constitution is a little above average to reflect her physical training in self-defense. I went with something different and used a normal 25 point buy for her abilities. I really liked the idealogue talents for her as I think they perfectly fit her personality. Know Your Enemy fits as a senator and leader of the Rebellion she would research the various Imperial commanders and moffs that she would likely run into. Known Dissident because she doesn't hide her views about the Empire in the senate or anywhere else, and although Palpatine and Vader would like to remove her, they seem to be waiting for some kind of proof, indicating to me that she's popular enough that nobody wants to take action against her. Unwavering Resolve and Fight Through Pain let her resist the Imperial interrogation later even though eventually she would have been worn down
"Her resistance to the mind probe is considerable, it will be some time before we can extract any information from her."
She was good but couldn't resist forever. She's not focused in anything specific yet, but her social skills show her ability to convince normal people to stand up for themselves and fight the Empire as she's known to do later.

Leia Organa, Rebel Leader

Equipment: Cold weather clothes

OK here we have Leia at the beginning of Ep5. She's grown as a leader of the Alliance and has some new abilities that showcase that. Her Intelligence increase at level 4 gives her training in tactics and multicasting into scoundrel gives her the Disruptive talent to suppress enemy officers morale and insight bonuses. Multiclassing also gives her Point Blank Shot which continues to showcase her ability with blasters. She gains the Careful Shot feat as well since we see her blowing away stormtroopers left and right in the escape from Cloud City. And even though the E-11 is classed as a rifle, it's got the folding stock, which lets it be used as a pistol when the stock is folded, and that's the only way we see Leia use the weapon in both New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. So she's good with a blaster, an effective leader of soldiers, and now she's even focused in Persuasion, representing her very much increased ability to sway people the the Rebellion's cause. She is Minister of State of the Alliance after all. I decided against focusing in anything else at this point since nothing else fits to me. She's still not as perceptive as others, even Han gets that they're not in a cave before she does. Leia doesn’t pick that up until Han explains to her "this is no cave." And her earlier idealogue talents still come into play as now even though she's a known Rebel, Imperial officers still want her alive and are unwilling to bring too much harm to her.

Leia Organa, Rebel Hero

Equipment: Camouflage poncho, blaster pistol
Destiny Fulfilled: Champion of the Alliance (Leia has fulfilled her destiny and gains a permanent +2 bonus to her Charisma).

And here we have the final Leia. This is after the Battle of Endor but before the mission to Bakura. She has fulfilled her Champion destiny with the deaths of Palpatine and Vader, the destruction of the Death Star 2 and the forming of the New Republic several days later. She leveled up and gained some abilities that reflect her new experiences. She gained the Force-Sensitive feat at level 9 to reflect her newfound heritage and connection with Luke, as well as the Impel Ally talent to reflect her increasing ability to direct allies on the battlefield. Level 8 saw her increase her dexterity and constitution to reflect the increasing regularity that she goes on field missions. After all, there had to have been some reason she went on the Endor mission. It wasn't for her good looks. She's good with a blaster and tactically able to command the SpecForce soldiers under her command. Leia is now primed to become a stateswoman of the New Republic and eventual Jedi Knight.

I've reviewed all the entries and here is my analysis:

I'm not familiar with Leia after the movies, so I can't vote for those high-level builds since I know nothing about her at that point in her life.

I don't really agree with Crime Lord levels for Leia. To me, Crime Lords are evil, so it doesn't really fit.

My final 2 favorites are:

-JediMike's Leia Organa, Senator

and

-fairytalejedi's Princess Leia Organa (Episode IV) CL 3

My vote goes to fairytalejedi's Princess Leia Organa. It's a nice and simple statblock. Which goes to show that statblocks don't always have to be amazing to have an amazing character.

Wow.  I got lazy.  And I forget the closing dates for those submissions.

Anyway, I vote for Darth_Scorpion Especially since I feel like stating leia below say level 5 is a serious flaw.  At least as the movies go.  She seems much more capable than that.  That rules out a number of the simpler entries for me.

But regardless of what I think, I think we had some good entries, and not many that seemed repeats.  We all see something different in the character, a good sign.

Especially since I feel like stating leia below say level 5 is a serious flaw.  At least as the movies go.  She seems much more capable than that.

I don't see why she needs to be at level 5, especially at the beginning of Episode 4. FP's and DP's can help you succeed just as much as levels can. I wouldn't call a level 3 character "not capable." Anyway, she would progress through level 5 and beyond as the movies progress. But at the beginning of the story, she's not awesome. Yet.

FWIW I disagree.  She is standing (diplomatically) toe to toe with Vader and tarkin, has had a distinguished career in the senate, and has had a fundamental hand in the formation of the Rebel Alliance.  Compared to a farm boy just begining his training as a jedi, she is leaps and bounds more capable and powerful.

That to me indicates that she is far beyond the introductory stages of levels, so I would peg her as minimum 5.

5th level isn't "awesome" but she is awesome.  She has already been the target of imperial plots to keep her father in line, she is brazen, mouthy, un-afraid (more or less), and capable of doing so much more than a level 3 character is.

All opinion of course.

Actually I much prefer The Losers.

When I and my friends sit down we want a game of heroic fantasy. Rare is the moment when I have cried out in a video game or RPG "that's unrealistic." (Unless there is no jump button. A level 1 character can be brazen, mouthy, and unafraid. Like I said in an earlier post in this thread, what makes Leia interesting is her personality, which is very difficult to translate into a statblock. There's no feat for being "Spunky."

Anyway, it's not a big deal, since there's not much difference between level 3 character and a level 5 character, except for a couple more skill points, a feat, and a talent.

Darth_Scorpion's build. Nice and smooth.

Darth_Scorpion's build

Hey guys, there's something I forgot to mention. I was going to ask everyone who votes to also suggest which character they'd like to see as the next competition. Since this month we had a movie character, next time will be someone from the EU.

Let me know who you'd like to see. Smile

Let's try:

Kal Skirata  (Badass Mandalorian; member of Jango Fett's "Cuy'val Dar"; activist for Clones Rights; thief)

OR

Xizor  (Falleen Prince; mastermind behind the Black Sun Crime Sindicate; Palpatine's best buddy; playboy)

Greetings !

Good work everyone...

I very much appreciate the simplicity and efficiency of fairytalejedi's build ! I'm seduced by the creativity and explanations of Quvmoh's build !

I vote for Darth_Scorpion's build ... precise, complete and intelligent.

For future builds, I suggest...

From the movie : The Separatist Council consisted of ten leaders...Why not let competitors choose one of the ten leaders?
- Po Nudo
- Tikkes
- Nute Gunray
- ...

EU characters :
- Xizor is a good idea, Samiel_Fronsac

I vote for fairytalejedi's portrayal of the princess. I see Leia being low-level (i.e. < level 5) at the beginning of the movies and she manages to cover her abilities well at that point in time.

As for characters for next time, what about Asajj Ventress? Is she considered EU since she was never in a movie, only the TV cartoons. I really want to see people's ideas on Grevious since I'm having a hard time coming up with good stats for him but I know he's a movie character.
Winner of You Build the Character #8 - Yoda
Darth_Scorpian's builds get my vote. They just look...right. No other way of putting it. Of course, I thought all the builds were outstanding, so it was definitely a tough call.

As for the next EU character, Kal Skirata would be awesome, and I'm not just saying that because I have a few builds in mind. Or am I? Guess I just like the old Mando dirtbag.Smile

I'd also love to see some Atton Rand, HK-47 or Bao-Dur builds. Those are probably 3 of my favorite EU characters. I do have a slight KotOR II bias, but that game still rocks, even if it is almost 8 years old.
