From looking at the dates on the comments, there probably isn't any active members in this group anymore. However I thought I'd put this out here anyways. My fiance and I just moved to the Springs area and we're looking to start up a DnD group again. My Fiance would be DMing it (he has about 10 years experience as such). We're looking for about 4 more people to round out our group. We'll be playing the Patherfinder system (based off DnD 3.5). We would prefer player ages be around ours (so between 21-29). New members are very welcome (we love to teach). We made a meetup group also to plan group meet ups until we can get a schedule down with our members. Just go to meetup.com and search for pathfinder dnd in the Colorado Springs area.

I am new to D&D and just want to find a group near me that plays on weekends and don't mind me missing any games.

Hello and hail everyone! Myself and a friend are looking for 2-3 more members for a 3.5(ish) campaign written by me in a custom world. We say "3.5ish" because we take the "...these are guidelines..." sentence in the DMG very seriously. This doesn't mean we very wildly from the core rules, but we do like to fudge a few things. Also, it is important to note we are looking for VERY SERIOUS players. We want to play every saturday from about 1pm, to 12am, or at the very least 8 hours, mainly because myself and my friend concentrate more on PC development, meaning there is A LOT of RPing in the game, to develop characters, and relations ships, rather then "enter dungeon, kill, kill, kill, loot, leave dungeon, repeat." This also means that the campaign could, and should last a few YEARS, that's real life time, not game time. We will accept new players to the 3.5 edition of play, as long as you are willing to commit to the extreme requirements, and are willing to learn an "outdated" system, though it should be noted, most people still play 3.5 Pathfinder, if not core 3.5. My friend will host the game, and it should be noted that he and myself both own cats. We have battlemats, and a plethora of minis, the hardest downside to our "group" is the fact that we lost most of our rulebooks when our old group of 2 years broke up suddenly, but we do have access to the basics (DMG, PHB). Myself and my friend are quite laid back, with the atmosphere of the campaign beginning very grimly and becoming more dark, and "polluted" as it progresses. I should also note that I am a pessimistic fatalist, meaning very few "true happy endings." But I would like to think that my stories are still fun and engaging enough that you won't want, or need, the classic, "everyone lived happily ever after," ending. I have a codex for the world (though it is quit limited, due to the nature of how your characters start the game, and the nature of the multiverse, and am a very experienced DM, full able to BS my way through whatever you throw at me. We take this game VERY seriously. This isn't just something we are doing on the weekend until we find that special someone, or till the next MMO comes out... this is, for me and my friend, a way of life... If you cut us, we bleed for 1d4 points of damage every round, unless it is a brutal-bleed razor, then we bleed for 1d4+2 points of damage per round, lasting 1 hour, or until a /cure light wounds/ or better is used. A final note: We have been burned in the past from other players, badly, so, if it doesn't sound too contemptuous we will have a kind of "meet-n-creep" intro game in the world I have designed and written. I am open to any classrace for that game, but the actual campaign will be a bit limited, due to the nature of the story, however, I am a sucker for a great, well-writen backstory. Oh, I should probably mention the nature of the world, shouldn't I? It will take place mainly, at low levels (I plan on taking the players to a minimum of level 20) on two planets, orbiting each other (and yes, I understand the physics of why that probably wouldn't work, especially if they are orbiting at the inner border of the goldylocks zone of a red giant start with their own moon in orbit, but you know what, magic). It will start out as a "hero's save the town" which will develop into "hero's ether save the world, or screw it over... OR, ignore that fact and play a little inter-planar game of sorts." Advancement will be the standard ECL style of XP gain, with plenty of chances at bonus XP along the way, and presige-classes are only limited to my understanding and ability to write them into the story (though, if you have one in mind, such as a shadowdancer or the like, let me know so I can start to plan now). If you have any questions, concerns, comments, hopes, dreams, fears, stories, aspirations, options, observations, or simply want to RSVP, please do so to my email, which for convince I'll post here ( tagvoar@gmail.com ). Lastly, we would like to start as soon as possible, but don't necessarily have a dead line. If we can only find a total of 3 people (myself and my friend included) he has a little "casual" campaign based very loosely off of Firefly and Spelljammer, using base 3.5 rules we can play till we get the needed 5 players for my campaign (but I am willing to start with 4 players). We have been out of a group for almost a year now, and we are desperate to find people, so please, if you read this and think this is perfect for you, please email me. Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy post.

Hey guys. I have a group of 4 players possibly 5 who need a DM. None of us have ever DMed before and none are comfortable doing so. There are a couple of us who would be interested in learning how to so that we might later do so, but for now we are all just interested in getting back into the game. Thanks. =)

Looks like its been a while since there was any activity from this group. Anyone up to anything? Any 4.0 (or other versions) campaigns/games coming up that need players? Any players looking for games? Anything?
