The World of Gladius

The World of Gladius is a complete world - or at least one big continent - that is completely built by the regulars of this group. Every time a character goes on a quest or embarks on a campaign, parts of his endeavors may be recorded here. Any new location or piece of history a Questlord drops might find its way into this thread. Every story that gives information on the world will be copied in here.

The World of Gladius's main purpose is that of a reference for Questlords and Players, Storywriters and Character builders, to see what is already known and set in stone. The history and information can provide Campaignlords with enough hooks to set up their adventure. If you have something you want to add, post it here in the (YET TO BE CREATED THREAD).

Note that not every bit of new information will be added. If you blow Gladius up in your story, or put a village atop an already existing one, we will ignore that part so better check where to best place your story if you want to see it in here. Talas, on the world of Othala, is the large continent this setting focuses on. During the Year of Hell, a lot of the vast Gladiosian knowledge was lost, especially about history and regions far away but thanks to the effort of many people, this knowledge is slowly coming back.

The World is divided into Regions. Though the Scholars of Gladius only focus on the regions of their continent, they still know that there are 10 degrees of longitude (from northpole to southpole) and 24 degrees of of latitude. Every Region has it's own section, in which you will find more detailed maps, descriptions, and relevant quests. Note that many regions are still blank and wait to be filled by you. The rest of the world might or might not appear sometime in the future.
