Backround

A bitter and dark looking man, Sinarus hails from a far forest where he leads an enclave of druids and rangers known simply as “Druid Protectors.” Born as a human, he and his 3 brothers and his half brother were granted special gifts by their mother in order that they might protect her grove after she passed. He was reawakened as an Elan, unlocking his dormant mental abilities. His human brothers were also granted gifts; gifts of strength, magical ability, and speed, but they have since passed. His youngest half brother, however, was given the gift of stealth, and he refused to stay and be “held back” by protecting the grove. Sinarus has spent generations tracking him, cursing “elven wanderlust” as a treachery. He tracked him to Gladius, where he hopes to use his manipulative abilities to get the government to hand him over to him. He fights in the arena, knowing gaining the popularity of the people as an expert warrior will take him far in his efforts to influence the leaders. He also uses his skills as a gardener to earn money, knowing gold is the most persuasive of speakers.

Purpose of Build

To use as many buffers as possible. This build was designed to use builds that combine good combat with powerful buffing spells. Warmind was perfect as it allowed DR and a pair of free action buffs 3/day for 3 fights a day. It also allowed a couple strong buffs. Druid also allows a number of buffs, and variant druid makes use of the shared wisdom modifier for magic/psionics while lowering cost for armour. I also wanted to make use of the underrepresented quarterstaff, and druid's Shillelagh worked in perfectly with the rest of the build. One level of Psion gave me an extra few PP (plus access to one PP from intelligance) as well as three more powers which I could use with my Warminds PP's because of how they carry over. It also worked well with Elan and no BAB for level 5 druid. I took it at level 2 to give access to the knowledge skills I would need to get Warmind.
